There’s no other person that can get me in the mood to decorate for Christmas. I love this time of year. Thank you once again for all of the inspiration and love you share! ♥️💚 Let the good times begin!
I can not wait to see your decoration this year, I have 10 year folllowing you, you have an extraordinary talent , thank you for sharing your knowledge and exoerience
Hey Rebecca, I have a white tree that I put glitter on, but I did mine outside because I used spray glue then sprinkled the crystal white, pearl white and clear(ish) glitter I mixed together. I literally tossed handfuls at the tree but I made sure to skip some to give it a more snowy effect. I let it dry for about and hour then shook off the excess to my painters cloth "tarp". I ended up doing the snow glitter process 4 times to get it where I wanted it. It turned out fantastic and the final look gave my tree a dreamy quality that I didn't expect. Since then I've done my tree in several color schemes, but my favorite is the royal blue, white, clear and frosted clear with the white boas to give it a richer look. I'm on repeat this year for my color scheme
I am with ya, Babe. Three trees every year. Started when my son was a toddler and still up for it almost three decades later. Three themes, different rooms. Am I patient enough to glue each branch one at a time? Just bought a new, seven and half tall tree and thought about this exact frosting. So funny that your video addressed this at the same time. Serendipity, for sure! I admire your creative genius. Love that you play “real” Christmas music. Thank you. Your Christmas is always beautiful, in your home and in your heart. Congrats on Grandbaby number two, Brody. So many blessings. Be happy! You are special.
Great idea. Love how real it looks, especially compared to the flocked trees one can purchase. Thank you Rebecca for all your time and energy. You're decorating the world!
I gave my flocked tree away ( it's to messy ) and only used it once. You wouldn't believe how many Christmas Trees, I have given away to family. I have an extra tree in the storage. I have my 2022 Christmas already up and decorated.
$1 store plastic drop cloth is larger and covers a greater area. When I sprinkle my faux snow I hold a paper plate underneath so it doesn’t fall on the floor. Easier to reuse. These are my favourite trees.
This is what I call a "Goldielocks" amount of snow. Not too much, not too little...Just right! I'm SO going to do this! As always, You're amazing! Always learning from you and I'm considered a great decorator? HA! I can't hold a candle to you, Dear! And that's fine by me because learning from you is TOO MUCH FUN!!! Thank you and God Bless :)
Hey there Blondie, I love your hair and of course your videos! I also love the music. Is that your son's recording? Can you PLEASE share name of the CD? Can't wait for more holiday VIDEOS. My beautiful 10 ft mannequin tree remains up for the past 2 years and I love it. Do you have e-mail where I can share my BEAUTIFUL pics? BTW, my fireplace also remains decorated to coordinate with my tree (apple green, gold and white are my colors). Happy Merry Christmas. We are truly BLESSED to be here on God's green earth. You are always a BLESSING, continue to share your God given gifts and talents.🙏💜🎄
Hiya. I found you last year while healing from a torn rotator cuff and detached ligament from my bicep. LOVE all of your videos. I’ve been waiting to try this because I’ve always wanted to do a winter forest and shimmering crystal Christmas home. Finally did it today with my goddaughter (yes, the last day of September), and the tree turned out beautifully. So excited to do this with the garland base for the staircase next weekend. Thank you so much for the many wonderful ideas I’ve gotten from your videos to refresh our home over the last year!!!! I genuinely appreciate you!!!!
I'M SOO HAPPY YOU AND CHRISTMAS WHAT MORE COULD A GIRL ASK FOR! I WILL DEFINATELY FLOCK MY WREATH BECAUSE YOU JUST MADE IT SO SIMPLE BUT I WANT TO MAKE THE MIRROR CHRISTMAS TREE!!! THANKYOU THANKYOU FOR BEING YOU AND BLESSING ALL OF US WITH YOUR TALENT AND EXPERTISE AND WE THANK GOD FOR YOU AMEN 🙏🏼
Awwww, Rebecca, this gives me such a wonderful peace: the ease of the process, the beautiful results, and the celebratory music raising up Christ!!!! We're in a different, new house this year and no matter how much I move around our "stuff," it just doesn't feel like home yet. Your Christmas series may be the key to breaking through that house-to-home stronghold. Blessings
Good video.. I just recently came up with the idea to go buy Wall texture that is used to repair drywall. It comes in a spray can and goes on blue and dries white u have to make sure that’s the one u buy. I wanted a heavy flocking so I first used spray paint to get a mostly over all white with some green showing. Let that dry, sprayed on the wall texture, sprinkled it with white shimmer glitter then let dry.. Don’t know how this will hold up through summer storage but it seems to be holding on really good … I used the Sno Flock powder last year and even tho it is beautiful and meant for flocking trees and realistic it did not go thru storage well…
This is a very similar process that I use for my Christmas Village trees although I use baking soda/Modge Podge and glitter, to great a super fine snow from . I love this process so much better that snow in a can.
Thank you for showing this because this is exactly what I hoped was possible. I work at Michaels and when I see a flocked tree, I think, "That's not how snow attaches to a tree!" It falls from above. It's not some whirlwind occurrence catching under, inside, etc. So some of the Christmas picks have this flaky snow attached and I thought it looked SO real. That's when I thought I can do this at home. We sell the loose shake snow in regular and iridescent. Now I just have to find an artificial green tree I like. I usually cut down a live one. Thanks again!!!
Hi Rebecca hope all is well love your hair. I followed your instructions the only thing I did different was I used what's called renew floor wax and diluted it with water it dries crystal clear and doesn't yellow. And I was able to apply it with a spray bottle. Thank you and I can't wait to see the rest of your Christmas videos
Thank you so much!! I have a pre-lit tree. I don't like the full flock trees cause they apply too much. I just want a small drizzle of snow to make it look pretty like first snowfall but those trees were costing me half a paycheck!! Totally not worth it! Found your video and I'll definitely be giving my tree a new look for next year!! 🤍🤍
Cool. Ibought my first heavily flocked tree last year. Trees are my theme this year too. I decided a few months ago to paint a large art peice with a grouping of snowy trees and to decoupage a tray with trees. Now I want to retry to do the mirror tree I didn't have time to do last year .
This is so less messy than blowing snow on! I love flocked trees and garlands, so will definitely give it a try. Thanks for another fun and informative video!
I used spray adhesive rather than glue. I put my snow on a stool where I was working, sprayed the branch sections I was working on, then dusted the snow on those branches. The job went quickly.
Good for you Bonnie… you thought outside the box and it worked for you. Sarah and I did a similar approach last year on 10 small trees but I found it very messy. Either way, we both got what we set out to do… add flocking to our trees 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 merry Christmas my friend and happy decorating 🙌🏻 RR

Hello and thank you for all your decorating ideas! When I watch your videos, it's like I'm chatting with one of my girlfriends. Would you mind sharing where you ordered your trees? Thank you again.
Thank you for showing us this technique; however, I was disappointed that we didn’t see the outcome since you had said you had already done your 2 other ones. Since this is an old video maybe I’ll see them in other videos you posted. 😊
Wow I thought that tree looked real! I was shocked when you said it was plastic. Beautiful. I love the light touch of flock you put on it. I like that rather than the heavy flocking. It does look like a light frosted morning! Can't wait to see more of your decorating. Thanks!!!
This is the most real looking flocking that I have seen. It takes time but sure is worth it. One question. How do you store a flocked tree from year to year?
I can tell this is going to be an incredible year! 🎄🎄🎄 Can't wait to see all the beautiful things you've planned. Hope you've had a wonderful time preparing for Christmas!
Love this - I flocked my very old tree a few years ago with commercially bought flocking and it did look beautiful however the mess putting it up and taking it down was pretty bad. As the tree was over 20 years old I've invested in a new pre-flocked one this year - wish I'd waited and seen your method as it looks much more realistic! Can't wait to see them all decorated.
The snow I have has some sort of adhesive in it so all I need to do to get my effect is spray some water and sprinkle just like you have done Rebecca. I got a bigger bag than I needed so I could keep topping up my already flocked branches, wreaths and tree. Mine comes with glitter to add into it and it looks fabulous when done. I had made a diary note to re flock on august but the weather had turned and I didn’t get round to it. I’ll have to do it a week before I put everything up! Looking forward to seeing the end result! It’s going to be just as I imagine it I’m sure!
Yes...Apologies we are bringing in the elves to clear out the trolls...Re-flocking is a thing! I usually decorate with my flocked trees and because I've used them so often and am quite, demanding of them:) I often times will go in and re-flock sections or use my flocked picks to compensate. Speaking of glitter! I have a Christmas vlog video that I'll be putting up this year. Glitter bomb! I got a little carried away but I assure you in the best way.

So tempted to do this! I love the way this looks so much more than a fully flocked tree! Since the glue is water soluble you can probably even wash it off if you really want to go back to a green tree
Love the tree and the ability to hang lots of ornaments in the spaces between the branches! Care to share where purchased? Big fan of the flocking and looks realistic. I'd probably take a spray bottle filled with glue and take it outside to flock on a calm day.
Rebecca, how is it that you look better today than you did 10 years ago? Love your hair and I look forward to all your Christmas videos but it’s gonna be hard to top last years tree! it was beautiful! By far my favorite ❤
Wow! How cool and beautiful is this light flocking! Love it❤ I’m gonna do this on an old Christmas tree I was gonna get rid of this tree and buy a new one but this might give me another year with the old one. Thanks for the idea and sharing with us all. You are amazing Rebecca. Remember to pace yourself and be good to you too! Linda from Florida
It’s a great idea but they do sell flock with glitter on Amazon and it’s very simple to use. You can do a light dusting or a full on flocked Christmas tree. I wish I could post a picture of my beautiful tree.
I also use Epsom salts mixed with opalescent glitter for flocking on my artificial trees. I am looking forward to all your decorating videos. And your daughter Sharrah's home is always magical. I just love her real personality. She is so genuine.
Thank you, Rebecca for such detail and sharing this so the rest of us can enjoy a pretty flocked tree. I had a 1st time sprayed on tree last year that I did. Now I will remove it and do this method and it will be beautiful. Can't wait to see the rest of your videos. God bless.
Howdy!! I’ve been a silent viewer for many years. Your videos have taught me so much about developing my home and your Christmas videos are one of the highlights of the holiday season. Thanks so much for all you do.
Love love love your videos!!! Have you tried the flocking from Amazon?? It’s really good. You spray tree with water, sieve on snow n glitter and then spray again and leave to dry. You can build up layers and after Christmas it washes or shakes off!
Great video! This may sound crazy but you gave me an idea with the contractors garbage bag and using it as a tarp. Right now we are having crisis after crisis and some are having water issues. Well this tarp can be used to collect rain water to filter. Hang it up and let the water roll off it into a bucket! Ha! Told you it sounds crazy!
Well that is interesting! I wonder how well and long it would last on the tree, year to year, or just after being decorated. Waiting to see the marvellousness of your decorating this year.
I was very excited about this video. I've always regretted not having a flocked Christmas tree and thanks to you, this year I can have my flocked tree!
I like this idea. This way you can have as much or as little snow as you want. I enjoy all of Rebecca's videos. But I especially look forward to the Christmas videos.
Hello 👋 Omg this is an awesome idea! I just love your Christmas videos. My husband calls you the queen of Christmas decor and he is right! I look forward to all of your Christmas videos 😊
Love this simpler frosted look... but still looks a labour of love... I am still on with our family Autumn decor... but I am so excited planning for my Winter decor 😁🌲❄️

What a beautiful touch for a flocked tree!!!! I can not believe how you think how you come up with these great ideas!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
I love rubber greenery, I believe some can be much prettier than the fake greenery, I love to decorate with it 👍
This is so less messy than blowing snow on! I love flocked trees and garlands, so will definitely give it a try. Thanks for another fun and informative video!

Your always thinking of things to make beautiful.thanks for sharing.your a gem.
Gorgeous. I absolutely love the very natural affect.
I love that when you do Christmas decorating that you wear black trousers but don't get covered in snow and glitter. If I did it, I would be coated, or 'clarted' in it as they say in parts of the UK.
Thanks for the tip. I have a flocked tree that is losing its flocking, so I can now give it a new lease of life.
I can’t wait to see the finished tree!
Christmas decorating videos! many thanks. love hearing your son's voice in the background. such a talented family.
Looks beautiful 9 Saturdays til Christmas 🎄 😍
I prefer this method of flocking... it looks more realistic and easier to work with when adding ornaments! You could use Mod Podge.
This is such an informative video, you always have great ideas for us.
So excited for this year's Christmas videos
hi Rebecca youve done the idea but if you have a garland or another sub who could use this idea i paint mine with white chalk paint allow to dry then i spray ,spray adhesive on all over allow to go tacky the put the snow on the branches or even the spray can snow will stick now then i let dry for about hour then i spray adhesive again, add more snow , do this if you wont a thick application xx

Thank you, Rebecca for such detail and sharing this so the rest of us can enjoy a pretty flocked tree. I had a 1st time sprayed on tree last year that I did. Now I will remove it and do this method and it will be beautiful. Can't wait to see the rest of your videos. God bless.
I know this is going to be absolutely beautiful when you are done.
You could have put the bucket under the branch as you go. Love you designs. Can't wait
Love this idea! I must try this!
Of course we will be back to see all all all u videos that is something to look forward every year thank you thank you for sharing with us 👍👏
I love this! ❤️ Did your tree come with the grapevine twigs in it or did you add that element? Can’t wait for the rest of the videos!
Its gorgeous
Thanks alot for this great idea to flock a tree!
I appreciate you. Can’t wait to start my holiday decor. Take good care of yourself.
Howdy!! I’ve been a silent viewer for many years. Your videos have taught me so much about developing my home and your Christmas videos are one of the highlights of the holiday season. Thanks so much for all you do.
What a cool way to flock your Christmas tree. Can't wait to try it.🎄❄️💙
A lot of work but sure worth it. Beautiful.
We drag in a live 14’ tree through our front door. Love this technique and wonder if it works on live trees.
Love that you shared I'm definitely doing my 🌳 as well. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Great idea! I like that tree with sparse branches. 😍
Hello 👋 how're you doing? Have a blessed 🙏 day 😇. Hope to hear from you soon.
That is really beautiful
