Kiss Guy went full pro when he hit the stage. Knew all the cues and breaks and took the worry off the rest of the band that it was going to be a car crash. They trusted him real quick and it paid off for all involved.
Kiss guy also wasn't an amateur. He nodded in the video when Dave asked him if he'd "done this before." He's in a band and has studied the cues band members give to one another on stage, etc, etc. It's quite beautiful how there can be a system to what seems like freedom/chaos on stage.
To have Dave talk about how much of a badass you are after only knowing you for a few minutes, is pretty amazing. Can't wait for others to see how talented Yayo is.

As a 58 yr old who has work or attended 1000s of shows and being in Austin I will run into him ( he is a friend of some friends) and thank him for everyone else.
The kid is a natural. Pure and simple. Whatever band gets him will be lucky. To get on stage and immediately work the crowd like Freddie then back it up with some amazing playing. Not to mention the way he watched Dave and others for queues. He wasn't just up there jamming. He was a soon to be pro.

It sucks because a lot of people have been holding up signs for the wrong reasons now, thinking they can get a record deal by playing a song at a concert that the Foos have to be careful about it.
