    Thank you this was very helpful. I plan on using One Note to record keep. I’m going through many videos to learn. I do like writing by hand, I think it helps my brain think through better so I’ll be using Rocketbook then send over my documents. I have also been using it for my daughter to write in as well and I can keep her work on her one note notebook.

    My husband suggested keeping our homeschool records digitally and I thought he was crazy. I’m a paper person but this seems like something I can stick to. Thank you so much for this video.

    I currently use Google Sheets, but I'm going to try out some of your methods. Great job :)

    Thank you so much for doing this!!! That was really helpful. Right now we use a excel sheet as our main and the copy weekly to Trello for the week with all the links but it was really helpful to see how you are using OneNote so I can play around with it.

      Glad the video was helpful! I thought about using Trello and I still might - but for now I'm really liking OneNote!

    Thank you!! Can you please share how often and where do you assess your kids. Do you share the test score to the school district.

      In my state, the kids are required to take standardized tests every other year starting in 3rd grade. So we aren't there yet! I am definitely keeping more records than my state requires but I just want be covered!

    Are you able to share this template with onenote users?

    What a great video! Thank you. Does OneNote come with those templates or did you have to create each one for your homeschool?

      I just created my templates - I'm honestly not sure if there are templates available!

    What resources do you use for Audiobooks? Audible ? That would be a great idea for quiet time.

      We love the Libby app through our library - I couldn't afford to pay for audiobooks for my kids, they go through so many!

    Do you record the books you read aloud for poetry/bible on your “read aloud list”?

    • @sciencemama
      @sciencemama  3 года назад

      No, just the chapter books at this point but I will need to make a new section for my son's independent readers soon :)

    Is this still working well for you? I am just starting out next year and looking for a way to be organized!!

      @sciencemama  3 года назад +1

      Yes and no - it kept me really organized but I got busy and behind, so I don't use it as much as I used to!

    What made you decide to homeschool? I love these videos even if I don’t have kids 😂

      I’m actually thinking of putting together a video on this! Mainly I love being home with my kids and I love teaching - although homeschooling is a bit different from college 🤣. It all started with me not wanting to do preschool drop off with twin newborns!!
