Sorry Ankur this is the wrong info you are giving.. If somebody chooses the higher amount of room rent his/her overall bill will not be deducted in that proportionate however Doctor Visit, Nursing charges shall only be deducted as a result Medical Bills and Lab tests bill (Major Part of Hospitalisation expense) shall remain paid fully irrespective of category of room availed vs allowed in policy

But there is another catch also due to TPA in between.
If your insurance is 5 lakh and room rent limit is 1 percent i.e 5000.
That's doesn't mean you will get 5000 rs room rent limit
Because TPA(third party Administrator) has some agreement over the room rate with every network hospital. You cannot claim over that rate.
Suppose decide room rent is 3500 /- per day for that category even if you have room rent limit of 5000/- per day, you have to pay those extra.
Kindly check that before getting the insurance.

Bhai mere company mai 1 % normal room hai or 2% ICU ka hai wo bhi daily limit bro matlab agar apko policy 5 lakh ki hai or ap 5 day ke liye admit huye nornal room mai ho to total room limit hua 5× 5000 = 25000 hoga reimbursement
