Been there once. Love it too going this year for summer first london for a while than flying to Poland. I'm a Chicano and I love polish woman trying to learn how to speak polish and it's pretty hard to learn.

Many many years ago I had a couple dates with a Polish ship jumper here in Canada. He was so earnest and polite, but in hindsight i imagine he had marriage as a visa route in mind. Years after that a Polish man at a dance led me in the most amazing Viennese waltz, which I have never forgotten, but he also had very good manners. It's hard to tell from ones who have already left Poland as they have different views to start with.
I dated a Polish girl and it was amazing, but she made me choose between her and my career.
I miss her, but I'm glad i have a great career now

Okay, I’m gonna visit Poland this summer. As Americans, we too are very focused on work and business and because we’re so busy all the time we tend to do spontaneous things when we have some downtime. I don’t drink or party so it’s always a challenge to find a girl who appreciates a man who can have fun without alcohol. 😁

I was approached by a man that I suspect was Polish, while I was waiting for the bus after work. He was jogging past and stopped to chat. After some initial polite small talk, he said I was beautiful, he likes my smile and he'd like to get to know me. Polite and straight forward! I wasn't in a good place mentally and it felt strange to be approached at night and offered to be driven home..! He lived close by, he said. Lil too risky for me. If he was interested enough, he would've asked for my number.

I know dating is complicated everywhere but Polish girls seem to be so nice and respectful it's so refreshing to see. They look very approachable and that's amazing

If this format is too much stress for you, then you might want to either enhance it or abandon it. Maybe consider having a sign that passively asks for participants instead of directly asking them yourself (though I am not sure that this will work very well).
I lured them in by saying I had gifts, but yes considered having a sign as well. Just couldn't lunge it around Europe 😅
It would have to be in the language of the country so, something more temporary. I am often approached in US to sign on some issues I have not studied yet. So, I am very weary of someone doing that. But if there's a short sign stating what is your need in talking to them they have time to process it and maybe accept it even without you having to talk to them.

I always thought that Polish women were mostly conservative and well-mannered, loving their homeland and their men. Apparently I was wrong and they are generally no different from other Slavic women.
An interesting trend is that the more Slavic men extol their women, the more negative they receive in return.

I am not a Christian, but I respect that Poles are true Christians. The crime rate is very low. The people are religious, and the only European country where people come to churches in a very, very large proportion.
Well, no. Actually lots of Poles are leaving church and feel not more connected with religion.
They are not very Christian as in following the commandments of bible and the pope. But they are Christian in the sense that they beat their chestvand call themselves Christian.
Latinos are religious christians too, but the criminal rate is really high.

With huge pain in my heart, I have to say that Polish girls and Polish women are extremely cold-minded about possible foreign couples. Polish language is quite difficult to learn and just a small amount of women speak another language diffrerent from Polish. It does not matter at all if the foreign possible couple is Roman Catholic. The only important thing for Polish women is tall Polish men (more than 1,90 m.) with whom can communicate in their native languages and it does not care at all if they are Roman Catholics.

First of all, I know how it may feel, but please don't get mad with people who didn't want to talk, in the big cities the people are so annoyed with the pollsters that bother them that they probably thought you were the one and avoided you as much as they could. And I'm curious - when did you visit Cracow? Because now the bigger tower of the church is being renovated and it doesn't look like this xD
And when it comes to dating Polish or foreign woman... well, I'd say it doesn't matter that much to me, I used to be in a relationship with a Turkish girl and it was okay, so... The only thing I should point is that dating a foreigner there could be some cultural differences that may be an obstacle. Every place in the world has its own mindset in which the people grow up and soak with. With a Polish girl there would be a bigger chance that we could understand each other. But the problem with the girls here is that they usually look for a prince charming on white horse who will give them everything, look like young Brad Pitt, have a lot of money and always knows what they want and gives them that. It's a pity, because in my life I could see so, so many great relationships here, like my parents' one, it's my biggest dream to have something like this as well, but... I don't think it's possible with today's Polish girls, sorry :/ They know only how to demand, and if you demand something from them it automatically means you are a sexist. And having a family for them is like a form of slavery. Now more and more Polish men marry Ukrainian and Belarussian woman, for that exact reason.
Currently I live in America & I'm from China. And from my experience with Polish girls (who also live in America, for example NY) has been pretty good. Never that serious into marriage or whatnot. But my experience is almost the opposite. Actually, the Polish girls are the ones that I feel natural when being with them. I feel like for me & some of the Polish girls that I met, it's more likely that we like each other & find each other attractive when we are just 'being ourselves' & being authentic.
Because Ukrainian and Belarussian women are more dependent and forced to be agreeing due to the situation. Your idea of an ideal marriage does sound quite egocentric and that the women should have an inferial role in the family. Sorry but you provide an impression that you are actually looking for a slave woman that has no demands. If this is how many polish men think then Im not suprised. It does sound latent sexist, yes.
@@marisa82 no, I don't and I don't know how you drew that conclusion, but... it exactly proves what I said: just tell a woman what you expect (even though I didn't say anything in this comment) or that you expect anything and she will immediately bombard you with such phrases like egoism, slavery etc. If you want to know - no, I don't want a family with "traditional roles" (whatever the hell this is, because the things you describe using this term are nonsensical and can exist only in small, close communities, in other circumstances they are impossible), but I do want a family. A family in which I can trust and I know that when something goes wrong we can rely on each other. But the problem is the woman today think that they have no duties as wives and mothers, that their men must be with her only when she wants, but other than that he better not bother her with his life, and when they finally have children (if so) the best solution is to give it to a babysitter and focus again on their own lives. I am a Polish woman and from what I see most of young women (up to 30yo) are wayyy ahead od Polish men. More educated, more independent, definitely more open-minded. In case of relationship I see many intelligent women dont accept trash anymore, just reach for men on their level, doesnt matter of their origin. I am also happy to see that this polish stereotype/culture of a mother, cleaner and cook reliants on her husband is literally dying. Some polish guys can complain but well, too late😉The change is made.
Just because you are graduating from some psychological or pedagogical studies - read "useless" - doesn't mean you are more educated. As for intelligence, your opinion matters little, because just on this topic we have a scientific study in Poland, where they show a totally different result. For the rest, it can be seen even in your protests, you shout, and you do not even know what is at stake and what you are really fighting for. I too am glad that men in Poland are finally slowly stop treating women as Gods and citizens of a higher category, because you are not worth it. We need to end this matriarchy and start treating you guys like guys treat each other. In addition, it's high time to equalize the retirement age in Poland, equalize the requirements regardless of gender at work or at universities, because after all, you fight all the time for equality.
