- I have been living in The Philippines for over a year and a half now. I moved from The United States to live in a small simple island called Siargao Island. Before coming here, I never even heard of the island. Little did I know that god had a big plan for me here! I finally left for the first time- just for vacation to Thailand. Although I really enjoyed my vacation, I missed The Philippines dearly and could not wait to be back!

murphys law... what can go wrong will go wrong... i once left my travel bag with my passport on a restaurant in korea before. fast forward 2 hrs. already back in my hotel packing up coz my flight was in 4 hrs going back to ph, then i froze remembering i forgotten about my bag. i got no more cash, no more dollar, so i ran 3 train stops to get find my back and luckily, its still where i left it. then run again back 3 train stops. and just barely made it through immigration and boarding.
for future travels. make a check list on you phone. and have a gps tracker tag on your travel bag, the one that will alert your phone if youre 15 meters away from the tag.

Most filipinos think Thailand is much better than their country the Philippines is much better More than 7 thousand islands and Islets explored and unexplored it a diverse country half way between first world and third world beautiful beaches white grey black and pink sand the Philippines is uncomparable with other country go to these island and see the beauty of your country Amanpulo Island, Banwa Island ,Balesin Island, Banana Island and explored most filipinos only go to Boracay, Baracay is not what it is 30 years ago that only rich filipino pilots go there with their families it was a tropical paradise but when Developers and busineses as well as careless tourists went there the beauty and eco system had been destroyed thats how tourism destroy beautiful places around this country to name a few Hinulugan taktak in Antipolo Mount Data, Baguio city puerto Azul, Matabungkay beach etc

Been staying in Pattaya, in & out, Thai people wear some smile & calculating grin, they gauge every gringo according to how much & how they can accomodate thai custom. Best is for having bars, drugs, hash, coke & being tolerable on all type of gay community, they have it all. Philippines is a little discreet on bars, ladyboys, & no hash, coke, so strict on none prescriptive drugs, death on illegal drugs. But for meat delicacy, Philippines have everything, specially pork (not in the south), some filipinos are fuzzy on insect or snake as delicacy unlike Thailand. But soon for retirement, I shall have a local brown filipina, for my offspring & to nurse me w/ my stroller, somewhere in a paradise islands of Philippines ✌️🇨🇷🧡🇵🇭👌

I love both countries; Thailand has better food and is cheaper than the Philippines, and it is easy to get around places. I also agree with you that Thailand is hotter compared to the Philippines, but Filipino people speak English, which makes it easy to engage with them and have conversations with them. Thai people are also friendly it just that it’s hard for them to express most especially if they know u are farang coz they can’t speak English. But tbh Thais only trusted fellow Thais I do admit that.. maybe bcoz it’s easy for them to communicate using their mother tongue. Just be careful making friends with Thais who can speak English coz some they have no clue for the meaning of the words they using or what they have understood if we say something.. this is why u will just noticed one day why ur Thai friend became aloof with u.. the language barrier is a big issue.. but overall Thais are very friendly I been living in thailand for 10 years..

Love pad Thai but the problem niya so sweet all the food most of the time lots of sugars but the Philippines is nit really much have sugar all the dishes and not like Thai is all dishes is full of sugars
Not all Thai food is sweet. Especially in the northern or northeastern regions, sugar is hardly added. Unlike Filipino food, most of it is oilier and sweeter. Ask most foreigners, without a doubt they prefer Thai food more than Filipino food.
Thai food also has many different menus according to each region with different ingredients and cooking methods. It's not just the food you see in regular videos.

Thailand better infrastructure better food and thailand more richer than philippines! About island country both beautiful but philippines has a lot to offer when it comes to island because they have 7700 island compared to thailand only 1430 but still one of the best beaches island the world. Philippines has advantage because the language most filipinos can speak english but most of them not fluent remember america colonized the philippines and thailand never colonized but still 27% thai can speak english not that bad.. if u dnt like thailand then left this country and go to philippines okey.
