In todays video, I go hunting for some races, but I unfortunately do not encounter any. So instead, I chose to chase the wind. Through that, I caught some nice scenery of mountains and the sun setting!
Hopefully in the future, I actually find some cars to run it with, but for now, I hope this is sufficient!

Hey man, good video. Keepi it safe especially through the traffic. It would be more fun through a windy, twisty road like in the mountains. The PCS system can be turned off by a button underneath the dash. You will have to go under the steering into the footwell and look directly up, you will see a small round button and it says 'PCS' on it. If you push it, it will disable PCS (pre-collision system). Cheers!
Thank you so much! I’ll definitely take that feedback! I also try not to squeeze in between small gaps, but there are definitely mountains around me! Maybe about 30 minutes away! I’ve been on it with my Honda Pilot a few times and the RCF once lol. I can say that I really haven’t mastered the mountain drive, but i’ll definitely take it on again!
And woah!!!!! Dude, thank you for the information on how to disable the pre collision system! It definitely tried to take me out a few times, lol!
@@Mr_Odog Yeah, definitely it will be a lot more fun on twisties where you downshift approaching every turn down to 2nd and then accelerate out going up to 3rd etc. I am sure you will have some great footage in a twisties run. Hey, I have another easier way to disable PCS. The PCS disable method I mentioned above, will keep it disabled every time you turn on the car. Another way to just disable it for the specific drive is, just hold the traction button down for a few tenths of a second, you will see 'Expert' mode appear in the gauge cluster and the PCS would light up in the dash. That means, PCS is disabled. When the PCS light appears (yellow), it means it is disabled. If you hold the traction control button down longer, the 'Expert' disappears in the gauge cluster and traction control is turned off (though, still some stability control is still monitoring). In order to turn off the traction control 100%, there is a pedal dance required. Anyway, 'Expert' mode relaxes traction control so that you can do tail slides etc. through turn, but still it would stop the car from drifting by cutting power so it still has the safety parameters enabled even in 'Export' mode. Only the pedal dance method is when it completely turns off.

@@Mr_Odog Yeah man, I think the safest method would be to use 'Expert' mode to disable PCS and every time you start the car, it is back to normal. Cheers!

Haha, don't worry about 8:53. It's a secret intention for lexus to allow the RCF and LC to bounce on the limiter in manual, so engine damage isn't a major issue. The V6 RC doesn't allow it to happen. Great vid man, love seeing RCs driven with its power. Stay safe with the cutting, at the end of the day it's best to leave the NPCs out of it and just go past them when adequate room appears.

@@optimusprimepro32 Thank you, bro! I am currently experimenting with Hankook tires after trying out Michelin PS4s for a year or so. They’re night bad at all, but Michelin PS4s are much better for performance 🔥

The auto braking is turned off with the “pedal dance” turns every safety feature off for track use. Unfortunately the only way to keep it off, can’t just turn the one off with the others on. RCF owner here 😊

Hey, what are most of effective mods for power gains, without replacing whole exhaust system, as i do find it to loud and too expensive mod.
I see websites stating remap increases some astronomical numbers😂 +70hp, and it’s complete nonsense, most you can get is +20hp from remap. So if you do know most effective and yet cost effective upgrades

yes, most gains you’ll see with a remap is about 20whp. I’d say your best bet is to grab an axel back exhaust with a larger piping diameter (preferably 2.75 inches) and delete your secondary Catalytic converter.
I want a V8 soon I’m still debating a used RCF, LC500, S650 Mustang, or a used Camaro 2SS 1LE. Love Lexus V8 sounds sounds like nascar! Thundaaa!! 🔥🔥🔥 great video!
both the RCF and LC500 are great platforms! Just know that the RCF is lighter though which makes it a bit faster and with slightly better handling. They both sound monstrous also! Thank you for the support 💪🏾!

I would love to get an rcf but im a lil skeptical when it comes to the expenses. What is a good price for a used one?
Hmmm…i’ve seen some as low as 30k honestly. Depends on the condition. I’d say around 40kish is a pretty good price for a used one with relatively low miles. These are Facebook market prices. Dealerships will try to up sale, of course

Thank you! The camera makes it look like the car is going faster than it really is. It makes things seem closer than they really are (can’t really explain why), but I like the look of it. As long as there’s no cutting through lanes/unnecessary lane switches, I believe it’s alright. This is 98% cruising. Mostly all straight line accelerations. Thanks for the feedback though!

I've got the IS500 Launch Edition which has the 2UR-GSE. The V8 in the Lexus is thrilling & intoxicating. My last car was a 2021 STI. If I ever decide to sell the IS500 a Blackwing is my next car.

after i turn the PCS off in my TE RCF it still beeps but it won’t apply brake pressure for me

My q50 redsport I sold for the m3 done the same shit. The car would automatically break if the person in front was too close even tho I would have my foot down trying to accelerate. It would confuse the fuck outta the computer lol

Had to re watch my video to make sure I had the picture clear. The dude in the SUV was moving towards the lane on which I was in, which is why I honked and said “a lot of people don’t know how to drive”. I still stand by that statement. Also, i’m simply just changing lanes and accelerating. The camera makes things faster/closer than they actually are. Lastly, I didn’t buy this car to drive in Eco mode. The dash says 210mph. I paid for the dash and i’m going to use the dash…safely.

That’s ass backwards from every other car I’ve ever owned. Pushing it forward downshifts the car and pulling it back towards you up shifts. Why is the rcF bass ackwards

This is not what it means to "push a sports sedan to it's limits". Generally this is in reference to limit of grip, and yoy got nowhere near those.
You need to take this to some windy roads and really push her if you wanna call your video "pushing it to it's limits"

The reason I gave the video the title is because I accidentally shifted from 2nd gear to neutral which caused the rpm’s to bounce off the rev “limiter”, hence the reason I used the word “literally” in the title of the video “Literally pushing the RCF to its limit”. Thought it was a creative title lol.

And definitely take her to a track when you can! I took a track driving course with a Ferrari F430 and Lambo Gallardo, and immediately became hooked. Have taken every car I've owned to tracks at least once, even slower cars like my Current Civic Si are a blast!
Here is me doing the course, 1st time on a real track. If you have a program like this local to you, I highly recommend it. Expensive, but it definitely got me into it, hook line and sinker
