It's in the same place as the Toyota MR-2 turbo from 1992 i used to own. Haven't owned a toyota since then and it took me a moment to realize where it was and then it dawned on me. IT EVEN works the same.
If it comes with a price of over $70k, I don’t think it needs to be broken in order to get a refresh. Car cost to much to look old and dated 2020-2021.
I kid you not, this just happened. I was walking across a bridge to work, (Burger King) which is a long commute on foot, but not really by car, a very nice lady named Baliey, saw me walking and gave me a ride in her Lexus RC. I can’t remember if it was an F model but the interior looked just like this one. She said she had just purchased it last week. She also gave me gas money so I wouldn’t have to walk to work tomorrow. I was truly blessed today when she picked me up. Also it’s hotter than Hell’s Kitchen here in South Carolina 🥵 Thank you Bailey! ❤️
I just wanted to let you know that me and my brother occasionally drive down where you film these videos and we affectionately call this section of road "The Tropher on and off ramp". We always joke about hopefully seeing you flying around the on ramp one day driving by!
Scotty actually has this car right now as well and says it's one of the most comfortable sports cars in terms of ride comfort due to its adjustable suspension and softer base settings.
Going to collect 2018 plus pack in Metalic Grey next week, paid 36k pound with just over 20k mileage, here in UK it's very rare so very excited to get it :)
It's really not, general population just sees Lexus as the grandpa brand and that's why they can't push their sports cars. Same happened with Kia Stinger, press loved it, but the brand perception can't change that easily.

Love the videos! You should put a shot of the car that you drive to help your thumbnails standout. All of them look pretty similar it would be nice to find the video you want just from the picture.
@@archer7716 you obviously have no idea what youre talking about . E92 m3 is slow as shit no torque an only 416hp and I have gapped plenty in my rcf and in my Pontiac GTO
Great video ... As always... I had a question though... This or the GSF? Two points of difference I'm interested in ... the sound system and the transmission performance.
I picked up a 2017 with 12,000 miles and the performance package, premium package, sound and nav system and the upgraded seats(basically everything extra you can get) for 50k in pretty mint condition...new it was probably a 85k car, so I'd say they are def affordable used....new I'd think you can spend your 85k someplace better though
I quite like the exterior styling now, but I just can't get over how old it looks inside versus the competition, with a lot more plastic and awkward angles. That said the brand new IS interior is actually a step backwards in terms of modernity IMO, so maybe this isn't so bad.
Is there a way to turn that redline beep off? Cuz the way that thing bounces off the limiter just makes me wanna redline it 24/7. Great video, Chris.. Cheers.
I’ve always wondered that too! I don’t think there is. After living with it for a week it didn’t end up bothering me as much as I thought it would. But I’ve heard that in some drive/shifting modes it doesn’t beep
Currently have a q50, would this be an upgrade ? The only issue I have is that it’s RWD which is kool but I live in chicago. Anyone know how this performs with snow tires in winter ? Will I regret getting this lol I know they have awd but it’s too slow. I want this v8 with power.
these cars are underpowered. lexus has pretty much given up in the horsepower war. their cars are fantastic and they do what they're supposed to do i suppose but no one will take this over an m3 or m5
I don't understand this thought process with "car enthusiast". In the real world, non of that "top spec" nonsense matters. Barely anyone is going to track these cars and those big numbers are never going to come into play in an everyday situation, unless you care about bragging rights.
I can tell you love this car Chris. I see you getting on soon.
I love it how even on a Lexus, the cruise control stalk is the same as the one found in an '08 Camry. If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Let's take a moment to admire the refreshed side mirrors, it's just perfect in every way!
The mirrors are clean

It wasn't an F.
@@druiz607 yeah it was 😉
I drive a 15 year old 'Lexus' from another mother (cheap Toyota) and I can tell you build quality and reliability never, never, never gets old.
Not losing money never gets old.

I always get a bigger kick out of seeing the few of these that are on the road than seeing BMWs or Mercedes.
Starting at around 8:23, anyone else notice that red Camry in his rearview flashing its high beams?
No idea what was going on with that car. It went on for miles...
imagine if that was morse code for "race me bro"
Could be the alarm going off, possibly even be a stolen car if we're going out on a limb...
@@emotiveDRIVE Some of those cheap AfterMarket Security systems
I can feel you, bro. Love that V8 sound.
Gotta love that sound, just needs some positive displacement. Also at 7:50 Camry guy likes flashing his highbeams lol.
I thought I was the only one who noticed that
What the hell was up with that guy. I also thought no one else noticed

No he has the LC 500h

I hope your channel keeps growing. Keep it up, Chris! Your reviews are excellent.
RC-F is the real 'supra'
Truth!
Is it tunable like a supra? That's the main thing it's missing. Including it needing to be a 6cyl.
Supra is faster. I have both. The rcf is heavy but sounds better.
I used to drive Lexus RX450, such a nice acceleration , comfortable, so if i’ve a chance to drive this car, i will try
I really like these cars too👍. Another one unfairly snubbed by auto “journalists”....
ja true👍. because it's not german😏🤨
it's an excellent sports car.
Exactly snubbed

Really LOVE LEXUS!!! 🔝🔝🔝
That car is awesome. It looks great.
Incredible audio recording.
Softer, reliable, more modern E92 M3 is what i always thought of the RCF
An faster then the m3

5:18 Your wish has been granted!
People are saying the IS500 is gonna be the last NA v8 from Lexus, and they’ll move from an NA 5.0 to a Twin Turbo 4.0 V8 which would be dope ngl
Whoa, I'v been shopping for a weekend car and its also between the RC-F or a S2000. Great minds think alike!
would love to see some luxury genesis reviews.
Great daily driver id say
I love this car.
Great video ... As always... I had a question though... This or the GSF? Two points of difference I'm interested in ... the sound system and the transmission performance.
If the packaging works for you I prefer driving this RC F, if you need to haul people, the GS F is great too.
Love everything except the stock exhaust
Not loud enough
Sounds like any other car
V8 boom sound 😍
Topher, after watching you drive a number of vehicles I have to say I wouldn't want to buy something that had been a press car!😉
You should see the testing some of the magazines put these cars through!
8:31 my charger widebody will throw you back in your seat in radar cruise control.. Its kinda scary in the beginning but so helpful
At 4:45 did you hit the curb lol?
I was looking for one of these (pre-owned) last night. Is this a sign?!

Any comments on the steering feel and inputs overall? Looking for a fun daily to move on from my 2019 Mustang GT, and I find that car a bit numb.

Is this Matt Farrah's million mile Lexus ?
yes
2011 interior :P
I believe you touched on this aspect but how is the everyday ride quality? Is it smooth or bumpy/rough?
It’s actually really great. Very livable
@@TheTopher Well that changes my opinion so thx
Is the Camry behind at the 8 minute mark high beaming you?
RC F are over price. With that price you can get a new NX model. They do look nice but wouldn't used it as a every day car.

Why would they stop the v8
Definitely says alot nsx to rcf
nice nice
Can you try to review the vw Tiguan s 4Motion. Thanks!
nice
8:30 what that red car doing
this or 2021 m2 comp i have a 2015 rcf

For Lexus’ to have such beautifully made exteriors. I just think the interiors are hideous. Looks like a toy car
Nice cars, but please stop putting the camera on your head, your videos come out bad, makes people watching them dizzy.
