      Señor Loco This is true, I wanna see a 2008 M3 with 220k miles, are there any out there? When you look them up people barely go past 75k miles on them, now an 08 isf, a lot of them are way over 100k miles and climbing strong. Rcfs are a little newer so not many people have that mileage on them yet but I’m sure they will and a m4 won’t.

      That's the ONLY reason I can say I drive a Lexus. I spent 4 months on several websites looking for it but last year I ended up with a perfectly mint CPO (certified pre-owned) 2015 GS 350 F-Sport AWD and I've been loving every mile. Original sticker was $59K, and I paid just over $32K at 26K miles (it had been babied!) and it's been a great accomplice.

    Nice car. I'd like to own one. And 17 speakers? Thats more than my two current cars combined 🤣. The engine sounds good but that gas milaeage could be improved some. I wonder how close in performance it is to the new Toyota Supra? Thanks for sharing.

    • @AutoAcademics
      @AutoAcademics  5 лет назад +1

      LOL
      While we haven't had the new Supra for review yet, we do know that it makes almost 150 less h.p., yet gets to 60 mph a fraction of a second faster. Our guess is the Supra is more nimble with the RC F being more of a performance touring car that is lovely on the highway. But all that's just a guess and hopefully Toyota will send us one so we can see. At any rate, thanks for watching, Derrick Adams Construction Channel!

      You're talking about a V6 vs a V8. In every measurable metric the Jag is not as fast, and comes with more bills to foot. Personally I don't care for a V6 unless we're talking huge power over a V8's sense of theater. I guess if the Jag feels more special I'd say go for it but from a sound, feel and actual driving side of things I'd lean towards the RCF all day long. For what Jag gives you, its incredibly overpriced.

      Primarily because it's not quite as hardcore as its competition, Shrinksjp. It comes across as a middle of the road performance car unlike the AMG, M, and RS cars it directly competes with and people who typically shop this class of car tend to be rather finicky. Of course, this middle of the road is what makes the RC F such a good daily driver, even if it doesn't perform quite as well on the track as the aforementioned cars. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

      @@Shrinksjp It's a good car. I've learned doing this job that every brand has a DNA and every car a purpose. Lexus makes good cars that you can rely on. The Germans tend to push the envelope of performance a bit more, but when you play at the limits, there can be some collateral damage in the process. If you're ok with that and want the "best" then you may want one of those cars. If reliability is more important, that's where Lexus and this RC F come in.
