    Love that camper! You guys are going to have so much fun. What an amazing opportunity and blessing! Your kids are going to look back when they’re grown and be so incredibly grateful.

      Aww, thank you! That is my hope in all this. The kids go back and forth with being excited and sad with leaving friends and family (I do as well!). But I am hoping that when they're older and married with kids, they can look back and think, "Wow, remember when Mom and Dad sold everything and we lived in a camper. How cool was that experience?"

    Wow that is beautiful! And it looks better quality than most campers, where everything is very cheaply made.

      LOVE THIS! The 4006 design is so awesome! We were sold as soon as we saw it! But they are hard to find! We felt so blessed to find one! I may be picking your brain! You will definitely have the experience we are lacking! We are currently trying to settle on how we want to transform the garage! May have to connect with you on Instagram and learn from your wisdom!

    Great camper! Your crockpots, instapot, etc. will be so helpful. Do you have an air fryer? We use it a lot camping.

      We do have an air fryer, however it is on the smaller side. We have a Ninja Foodie on our list to eventually replace it.

    I love the designs Heartland has. The one particular concern is if we were needing to stop for the night. And the fold outs are in. Can we get to the master bedroom and bathroom?

    • @livingthegandeelife5565
      @livingthegandeelife5565  2 года назад +1

      Yes, we love this design as well! So you can get to the master bedroom with the slides in. It's a tight squeeze between the couch and the control panel but we can do it. You cannot, however, enter into the kitchen/living room from the garage/toy hauler. When the slide comes in the refrigerator will block that door completely. So if you have kids and want them to sleep in the toy hauler they will be completely blocked off from the rest of the camper. I hope that makes sense.

    • @eveningwiththekennedys9844
      @eveningwiththekennedys9844 2 года назад

      I'm sorry to ask, & I know this might be asking you to go out of your way. But would you happen to have the measurement between the slide out and the control panel? I only ask because I'm on the plus size.

    Man I’m so jealous, I keep talking to the wife about this but it seems so impossible. We have a 3,000 square foot house. 3 kids 1.5 - 7 and two dogs that are 100bs. There’s so much change and sacrifice I just don’t think we can do it.
    How has your experience been so far.

    • @livingthegandeelife5565
      @livingthegandeelife5565  2 года назад

      There is definitely change and sacrifice. But in the end, all the things we gave up didn't compare to what we thought we could potentially gain! So far we are really enjoying it. That's not to say that we don't have our struggles - things break, kids miss their friends, and sometimes you want a long hot shower or a basement to send rowdy kids on a rainy day! As with any thing - there are pros and cons to everything, right? I'd just have to say that everything we've gotten to see and experience as a family has far outweighed the negatives that we've encountered so far!

    Quick question. Can you get to the fridge, master bed and bathroom when the slides are in?

    • @livingthegandeelife5565
      @livingthegandeelife5565  Год назад

      You can barely squeeze by to get to the fridge with the slides in. Even then, the fridge will not open completely. You can get to the bathroom and master bedroom through the living room door when the slides are in. So can it be done, yes. But you have to squeeze through! However, you cannot access the main living/kitchen/master bedroom/master bath through the toy hauler when the slides are pulled in.

    Hello, Love your camper. We are a military family and we are actually going to live full time in an rv and the cyclone 4006 is the one we are considering. I was wondering if you've had any issues with the camper so far? Also if you could tell me anything about it you wish was different? Your opinion would be a great help since you actually live in it full time and homeschool your kids as I do. I feel like one thing I'm not to sure about is I wish it had more windows on the camp site side verses the other campers spot in the back of the rv. What do you think? Has that been an issue?

    • @livingthegandeelife5565
      @livingthegandeelife5565  2 года назад

      We have had only a few issues - things that the dealer ended up fixing or a few broken screws, faucet, etc that we have fixed along the way. Unfortunately, you can't guarantee you won't have any issues especially considering you drive this big behemoth down the road and things get jostled constantly.
      As far as wishing things would be different - it's a catch 22. I'd love to have a dining table. But in order to have the dining table, I'd have to give up a couch. And I like having the 3 couches and seating for my entire family. I've seen other families with less people remove a couch and make room for a table. And maybe one day we could do that, but for now we just have a foldable table we put up and take down for meal times. And in times of good weather it's a moot point because we eat outside! We also want to make the toy hauler the kids room and therefore we have lots of things to do back there to make it a bedroom and livable. But the general layout has been great!
      As far as the windows go, I have not felt like we needed more. When we open the blinds I feel like we get plenty of natural light and that I can see outside in most directions.
      If you have any other questions, we'd be happy to answer them. We are really enjoying this adventure! Good luck!

    How comfortable are the bunk beds?? (Specially the bottom one?)

    • @livingthegandeelife5565
      @livingthegandeelife5565  2 года назад +1

      The bottom bunks which are really the fold down benches are not super comfortable on their own. We ended up getting a foam mattress topper to put on top and that was enough to make it comfortable. The top bunk and the loft bunk had the teddy bear "mattress" and we put an additional foam mattress topper on both of them for some additional support and they're nice and comfortable, too. The kids didn't mind just the teddy bear mattresses and if we were going to just be camping in this camper (as opposed to living in it) we would have just stuck to the teddy bear mattresses.
