      Thank you. No, there are 2 toilets. One connected to the master and 1 in the garage. There is an optional TV in the master bedroom but we choose not to have a TV in the bedroom. A gaming room would be fun, but not practical for us with 3 kids.

    Amazing rig! Great tour, was wondering what make/manufacture your tool box is in the back of your truck? I can't find one that has the latch on the outside to allow a tonneau to work. Thanks for any help you can send. Cheers!

    • @TheFlyingHens
      @TheFlyingHens  3 года назад

      I had the same trouble. I wanted a toolbox that allowed a tonneau cover to go flush against it. However, most of the low-profile (5th wheel friendly) boxes had the latches on the back side. It is the 70" Low Profile Deep Toolbox from Tractor Supply Company SKU# 1174114. The tonneau cover is specifically designed to fit a long-bed with a toolbox. I found it at etrailer.com and it is item #A61409 Access Toolbox Edition Soft, Rollup Tonneau Cover.

    • @TheFlyingHens
      @TheFlyingHens  Год назад

      I've fixed leaks in tanks, resecured hose fittings, replaced a window that broke, broken cabinet latches, broken window shades. I had a problem with the slide out that needed to be repaired and hydraulic jack leaks. Our stove wasn't working properly and needed to be replaced. We broke a leaf spring. Other things I can't remember at the current moment. Most of those are typical of a home constantly shaking in an earthquake going down the road at 70 mph.

  • @philipbuzzanca8450
    @philipbuzzanca8450 3 года назад +2

    What gear ratio is in the F350? Was considering the F450 with 4.30 for better towing. How does the 350 do???

    • @TheFlyingHens
      @TheFlyingHens  3 года назад +1

      I have the 4.10 axle. It's great towing this. If you can afford the e tra few bucks, I'd probably get the 450 in hindsight only for the turning radius. However, the 350 has been able to do everything I've needed so far. I would highly recommend the DRW for stability while towing 20k.

    • @philipbuzzanca8450
      @philipbuzzanca8450 3 года назад +2

      @@TheFlyingHens yeah.. I'm torn between Drw 350 and 450..prices are up there..I figured the properly geared 350 would be fine but the turning radius of the 450 Is much better. Too many choices!!😁

    • @TheFlyingHens
      @TheFlyingHens  3 года назад +1

      You'd be fine with a 350 DRW. We tow 20k with no issue at all. Power has been great on the steeper grades and never had an issue with transmission or engine temps getting too high. i would not go with the 450 just for towing. The 350 is plenty capable. if you wanted to get it for turning and some beefier brakes, etc... that's different. I don't think it would be noticeably different pulling an RV though.

    • @philipbuzzanca8450
      @philipbuzzanca8450 3 года назад +1

      @@TheFlyingHens Thank You..The trailer we are looking at has a GVWR of 17000 so thatll be fine...Keystone fuzion 379..our next choice is the cyclone.. looking to keep it under 40 ft if possible just because we heard some RV resorts and campgrounds ask for only up to 40' in length..Have you had any issues with that??

    • @TheFlyingHens
      @TheFlyingHens  3 года назад

      @@philipbuzzanca8450 Well, yes. Over 40 feet limits you into some places. However, we have not found it to be an issue. We have always found a campground our boondocking spot near a location we want to go. Don't let length, specifically in regards to campgrounds, be a huge factor in deciding what you want to get. There are plenty of options out there.
