Guys like Brady or Brees only shine because the entire team system is tailor made for them. Not taking away their success, but a great QB will shine no matter what hardships are present. Wentz has had to work with a dumpster fire of an offense for the past 2 years and somehow made it work. That's how you know he's a great QB. I don't think there was ever an argument among rational Football fans that Wentz is super talented and has had a very nice career so far (aside from the injuries and the very inconsistent receiver play he's had to deal with), but the Miles Sanders TD throw vs Washington sealed it for me that we have a special QB in Philly. I've seen it over and over and I still don't know how he even got that throw in there to Sanders.
People sleeping on Wentz don’t know football. Idc who your team is whether it’s eagles cowboys or browns. All these wentz haters are gonna be hiding watch. everyone saying wentz is always injured well tell me why rodgers big ben and rivers get a pass. wentz has missed 8 games in his career and watson has missed 10 games.
in my eyes, wentz has shown more than enough to prove elite potential but i understand why the rest of the league probably doesn't feel that way and the dirty ass hit by clowney certainly didn't help people's perception of him any. i wouldn't argue with 5-7, i think the 2nd tier of QBs (after mahomes/wilson) starts to become a tossup very quickly. we have a lot of really good qbs right now and Wentz has shown he can perform at that level even with quite literally negative help from his receivers.

Thanks Louis, appreciate that a lot. There are a lot of coaches that I trade with who give me the teams playbooks
This aged horribly.
hes good
Incredible video. Incredible detail. Go eagles
Thanks Mikee, appreciate that man
Audio mixing getting better
Aged great
it did
That’s my QB 💯
I agree.. I never questioned his talent.. I only questioned how long it'll stay on the field.
I don't think anyone can blame him for getting a concussion though, especially on a dirty hit
Hes trash
@@zuippy845 Exactly, Dak's trash.
This is so well done. Thank you for this.
Means a lot Josh, glad you liked it
Eagles fan. I don't know about top 5 right now he definitely could be but he's for sure top 15. Probably top 10. My favorite player right now.
Wentz will always be one of my favorite Eagles qbs. He was always fun to watch (before injuries)
How do you not have a job with NFL Network yet? Seriously? Great content just subscribed. Can't wait for more videos.
Aye appreciate that SL, thanks man
Now u know why he doesn’t have a job with the network
Great vid man. Please do a QB analysis on Ryan Tannehill. I can't tell how good a QB he is.
He’s a pretty accurate QB but because of his QB it gives him easier passes because opposing teams will stack the box. Give him an average RB and he’ll struggle
Thanks DNS, I'll put him on the list. When I studied Henry last week, I was pretty impressed with Tannehill. Lots of high quality throws down the field against tight coverage, especially under pressure
The video on Henry was also pretty good. His explosiveness after the break is impressive, very well studied.
Tannehill is a fairly good QB. Not elite by any measure, but Vrabel's scheme plays more to strengths than Gase's ever did.
Man I love my qb
This aged like milk
Very interesting take! Thanks for the video, perhaps for future videos you could not only evaluate the player, but compare plays with other players of the same position to provide more context.
Thanks Nathan, appreciate it. I did a Chase Young vs Nick Bosa episode you should check out and this week I'm comparing the Watt brothers
Did this age properly lol
yes
Guys like Brady or Brees only shine because the entire team system is tailor made for them. Not taking away their success, but a great QB will shine no matter what hardships are present. Wentz has had to work with a dumpster fire of an offense for the past 2 years and somehow made it work. That's how you know he's a great QB. Now imagine a system thats centered around his style like Brady or Brees. We already seen what Wentz can do when he's got a solid offense. This dude is 100% the real deal, and I'll never stop backin the guy.
FACTS!! WENTZ IS ELITE :)
Elite qbs dont fumble or have a low qb rating like wentz
@@johnnycumpian5481 any elite QB would fumble and have a low rating too if they had the receiving corps that Wentz had during the latter half of last season.
Cyrus Ureña he doesn’t have a low rating and every QB has flaws. His is fumbles at the moment. Even with the fumbles he still top 5 in best TD to Turnover ratio
@Cameron Holmes bs wentz had great receivers in 2016 and 2018 and had losing records. Dak has better numbers across the board because hes plain better. Wentz has a low qbr because he fumbles all the time dak doesn't. Dak has a better td to to ratio and a better winning percentage enough said.
@Cameron Holmes 4 of the top 20 players in drops were all on the cowboys. The oline was banged up and the had the worst special teams in the league. It wasn't on dak. Wentz has 56 fumbles in 56 games enough said lol
It’s not too late to delete this video. This aged poorly.
it aged well
People sleeping on Wentz don’t know football. Idc who your team is whether it’s eagles cowboys or browns. To see the intricate things Wentz does or has to deal with you need to watch games multiple times. Once you do that and then compare him to other qbs who you also have watched multiple times you see he is special. Great video but even tho you broke it down for these plebs doesn’t mean they will understand lol BuT “tHiS qB” hAs BeTtEr StAtS lmao
This has aged well
Beautiful video sir
Game respect game, thanks man
The Sheff g intro 💪🏾🔥
Finally someone with common sense. Hard to find these days
finally somebody gets me
@@AlexRollinsNFL I thought I was alone 😂
Y’all still think so?
Wassup Alex!! I’m 1 day late but an amazing video again !! I’ve been thinking bout what you said, and I think Kenny Golladay is a great player to cover for a lions video, Anywho Can’t wait for the next video !
Ayee Frosty, thanks man, I'll put Kenny on the list
AlexRollinsNFL yes sirrr, appreciate your time replying once again 🥳
it's crazy how people think he's top 5
This milk didn’t take long to expire
Wow this aged like milk.
Aged milk makes good cheese.
I love this!!!
Facts as a bears fan
very good analysis. I agree hes definitely a elite QB and is only going to get better
Thanks NN, glad you liked it man
awesome I got a reply 🤣 liked and subscribed 👍
look off game on point!
THANK YOU for being real. carson wentz had 4000 yards passing without a songle wr having over 500 yards receiving. also 27 tds and 7 ints throwing to jordan matthews. greg ward. robert davis and deyonte burnett. Give carson a legit number 1 like rodgers has adams mahomes has hill and watkins and he will be throwing 40 tds. reagor and jackson are gonna open up the field and wentz will absolutely have an mvp caliber season this year. All these wentz haters are gonna be hiding watch. everyone saying wentz is always injured well tell me why rodgers big ben and rivers get a pass. wentz has missed 8 games in his career and watson has missed 10 games.
Wow great anology my guy! In Wentz we truly trust, no matter what the naysayers said about him.
1. Pat Mahomes
2. Russell Wilson
3. Aaron Rodgers
4. Carson Wentz
5. Deshaun Watson
6. Lamar Jackson
Elite status right there
@Jon Snow Do you Watch Football
Jon Snow
False
Jon Snow Deshaun has had much better supporting cast, let alone a top 3 wide reciver in D-Hop
@@DB-mw1ys Lets not undersell D-Hop, he's the best WR in the NFL.
Uprights agree but just in case for non belivers lol
Wentz vs Dak... how is it still even a question???
This and your take on Herbert have aged as badly as is realistically possible. Damn
Wentz is anywhere from 5-7. It depends on what you think of Matt Ryan and Deshaun Watson.
in my eyes, wentz has shown more than enough to prove elite potential but i understand why the rest of the league probably doesn't feel that way and the dirty ass hit by clowney certainly didn't help people's perception of him any. i wouldn't argue with 5-7, i think the 2nd tier of QBs (after mahomes/wilson) starts to become a tossup very quickly. we have a lot of really good qbs right now and Wentz has shown he can perform at that level even with quite literally negative help from his receivers.
Il Valentino let’s see how Watson does. As far as I know he doesn’t really have great weapons anymore
@@IronForceGaming1 2019: Wentz had more TD, more yards, and less INTs than Watson (who had god damn Hopkins, while Wentz had Greg Ward).
But Watson gets credit for beating the Bills in the playoffs when Josh Allen was literally TRYING to give the game away, but Wentz/Eagles crushed Buffalo 31-13
Matt Ryan clearly needs much more helps to win than Wentz does, and Watson put up very similar numbers to Wentz except Watson had Deandre Hopkins, Will Fuller, Kenny Stills and Keke Coutee, Wentz had, Greg Ward
I think Matt Ryan is top 10, but closer to 10 than 5. Watson is in or just out of the top 5, but he needs to improve his passing.
Any thoughts on the Sanders injury?
Picked him up. Hoping it's nothing but they did say "week to week" instead of "day to day"
mr. kojak I never liked Sanders even before the injury. He struggles to run between the tackles, so really, he’ll only return value on pass volume. With the injury, stay away
@@AlexRollinsNFL I'd be looking at
Mostert, Gordon, rojo, white, Murray, g.edwards, or k hunt.
If I moved on from sanders
As an eagles fan I'm biased to Carson, but I will not be for this video. I love listening to other people's views on the QB i cheer for.
He's top 5 legit. You could argue him or Watson for the fifth spot (Mahomes-Russ-Lamar-Rodgers) but I'd take Wentz
@@AlexRollinsNFL I just feel like Wentz is having that WR crisis like Mcnabb had. I mean I wish he has a set of WR for a good portion of his career. I am happy that he can show her can still produce top 5 numbers with any group of receivers.
Btw, out of those castoff players Wentz played with at the end of the year, Greg Ward, Boston Scott, and obviously Miles Sanders can actually play.
Miles is the only one I actually feel comfortable with. Ward isn't good. Let's stop pretending he is. Scott is a decent player but he's gotta show more before I believe in him.
can you do a video on Wentz this year and the struggles of the Eagles
Definitely.. at some point in the next few weeks/months
@@AlexRollinsNFL I was about to watch this but after seeing this I'll wait as a giants fan I actually like wentz but I he has played bad this year I wanna see why ill
Watch this video when the next one comes out it should be fun
Im convinced
That's my qb
he was going to win mvp if he never got hurt. dude was literally mahomes before mahomes idk why mfs keep playin like he not the reason the eagles even got to the playoffs without him = no super bowl
Facts.. it's kinda silly
AlexRollinsNFL exactly and this is coming from a redskins fan😂
