    I visited Japan a few years ago and got to have this for breakfast every day. I honestly prefer it to any breakfast I've had anywhere else. It's filling, but also gives you lots of energy for the day rather than making you feel tired and sluggish. And it's delicious of course.

    In Egypt, we cook rice the same way, but we add salt and some butter or oil to the boiling water. I LOVE rice so much, but it's strange to eat it for breakfast. We usually eat it with cooked vegetables and meat or chicken for lunch or dinner. Rice is a must in most Egyptian kitchens. :)
    Spring onion is an important Egyptian ingredient too.

      I hope you liked our koshari :)

    Japanese eats very less than Indians. As I am a Punjabi we eat more food then this. As an example my mother cooks 500 gram rice (not counting the weight of ingredients) 500 Grams of vegetables (not counting the weight of ingredients) and 3 to 4 Rotian for one person it is a basic food it also includes salad, yogurt, chuttni and pickles. This food is for three people.

    In addition to this menu, there are grilled fish and natto.
    At elementary schools in Japan, breakfast is a topic of bread or white rice. There is no doubt that bacon eggs and wiener toast are often eaten in Japanese breakfast.
    When you are not hungry, take a rice ball and eat it on the way to school. Oh, but it might be just me!😂

    It seems every other place has a breakfast that seems like a meal.
    My whole life breakfast for me has been more like quick snack to keep me going until meal time, slice or two of rye bread and glass of milk most commonly.

    I looked the ingredients up and they are all safe to eat while i am on warfarin. I wasn't really into seaweed but i crave greens and this looks like it works.

    • @ifyasoh1169
      @ifyasoh1169 6 лет назад +3

      Seaweed does contain vitamin K and can lower your INR while on warfarin. The key is moderation and consistency if you choose to incorporate this into your diet. Consult your MD or anticoagulation clinic.

      Ifeoma Asoh i had a blood clot in my leg from my waist to my right knee and can eat barely anything anymore. I got cravings when watching this video and i have never had food like this before.

    • @ifyasoh1169
      @ifyasoh1169 6 лет назад +1

      Beastman44 I hear ya about the cravings. With vit k containing foods the key is moderation and consistency. There are other anticoagulants that work independent of a vit k pathway. Perhaps you can discuss with your doctor

    I've had a really bad problem with not eating breakfast since I was a teenager. I was always self conscious about the calories it would give me, and I would even skip lunch most of the time. i was so hungry that i wasn't able to concentrate at school, and then eat twice as much at dinner, which intern made me gain weight! recently ive been trying to eat Japanese breakfast, and honestly I feel so satisfied and healthy after.
