#1 confidence
rhythm isn't the only thing, but it is everything.
Remember folks learn to play in first ! It great stuff i feel i spent years trying to play outside but kept comming back to inside Only after years exploring the great american songbook from blues ballads bossa and bop did i begin to apreciate out ! Its a balance bettween the two
Sir….YOU are my new favorite teacher and player….I’ve been working on these types of constructs for quite a while….but you have spelled it out in a fabulous way and confirmed what I have believed ☝️….im addicted to this approach….it’s so much fun 👏💫….thank you sir 💙🙏

I love these lessons
This is one of the things I want to get fluent with this year. The new Barlow looks and sounds great.
Cool guitar, love everything about it ✌️
Great video! Those devises are vehicles to ANYWHERE. They can be used to land, and go to anything really.
Yeah man!
Cool heat
You the man

❤️
I hear that rhythm as three pickup notes into a measure
A Scott Henderson flavor for sure
Innovater shaker and mover...ya weve heard it al and you made it different...
Patterns . I cheat with them sometimes.
Very cool! I've heard and copied the content from Schofield where he just throws a quick chromatic outside thing going from in key, staying in the groove but going out of Anything related to the key, and landing on the next chord. It lasts about 1 bar , but Always stays in the groove. I've seen Metheny play like chromatic augmented things in the same fashion, but perhaps 2 or 3 bars. But Henderson seems to run on and on, and I figured it was a motion of 4ths, and he seems prone to sharp 11ths as well just because they can have that fingernails on a chalkboard effect to the harmony. Very cool stuff!
