The glory of the FMS. If you notice, they were in pink needles (FMS mode) during the intercept. Once they were established inbound, did you notice they switched to GREEN needles? Green needles is navigation mode, or in other words using a ground based navaid, such as in this case, the localizer...
You're flying the good model E-145 with the ISIS, 2 FMS units, and AHRS-900. Lovely. :-) . I'm assuming that model has thrust reverser.... Is that an LR model?
i would like to know the steps for landing as i am very interested in flight simulator x.. I FACE PROBLEMS WHILE LANDING. do u use approach hold or heading switch.. and do u land it with auto pilot on or off.......
can u tell me how do u turn and control ur flight in the taxiway and runway that means in the ground how do u turn the tires because sometimes when landing (manually) the runway suppose faces 256 and i be 254 and likewise.. so how do u turn ur flight
I did practise from Cessna and later did succesful landing in a mission.. but the problem i have is i cant control my flight in turns... it gets more steeper. and sometimes collapses so i use heading switch to turn my flight according to my wish.. but once i found out that with approach hold switch.. the flight turns automatically and follows the route of the flight plan
You mean how did he make that sharp of a turn on the runway? They use a tiller wheel, that is only on the captain's side. The tiller wheel alone once you have weight on wheels, give the airplane 71º of steering. The rudder pedals alone give the plane 5º and shuts off the steering at 7º for a grand total of 76º (71+5) of steering. Quite a bit, huh?

I've been using an iPhone 4s also for making night landing videos. the lack of a manual focus with an infinity setting can be frustrating. subed.
