    Nice approach, love SoCal. The E145 seems to be very nice to fly, btw is it part of your SOPs to disconnect AP at minimums - as seen in all previous videos?

    • @gallitosoto2
      @gallitosoto2  9 лет назад +1

      No, that's up to us, but for the video purposes I prefers using it. With bad weather and low visibility it's better to use it.. Cheers!

      +Christian Soto Anaya Makes sense now. So many airlines now restrict the manual flying, fortunately not the case for you or myself ;) happy landings

      $38,000 per year for E-145 pilots starting out here in the US. So sad. I had to save so much money so I could afford the job. the pandemic made things rough.

    Are the controls on the 145 very sloppy? The amount of stick movement looks insane.

    • @byronhenry6518
      @byronhenry6518 2 года назад +1

      Gets more sloppy the slower you get.
      The odd shape of the yoke also may seem like it requires more movement.
      I fly the plane and the yoke was a little weird at first, but I’ve come to like it actually. (Except the fact that I sometimes hit my or the other pilots leg sometimes)

    I don’t see “North route” on the taxi diagram. How do you know what that is? When do you transfer to ramp frequency? Thanks!

    Veo que por lucir bien en el vídeo tomando el mando con casi dos dedos y tomando fotos con el avión en movimiento, se están distrayendo lo que nunca se debe de distraer, esto ya se esta volviendo una epidemia como los vídeos de otro piloto de interjet que de igual manera, mascando su chicle y sus lentes oscuros cuando se ve que ni siquiera traerlos puestos es necesario, hay un dicho en la aviación que dice piloto con lente oscuro.... Tenemos una responsabilidad muy grande, seamos serios, estamos trabajando,el hecho de que este sea un avión pequeño 50 pasajeros no le quita responsabilidad, somos pilotos no somos actores de telenovela.

    • @gallitosoto2
      @gallitosoto2  8 лет назад +20

      That aren't a bunch of screens. They are call PFD, MFD ,EICAS, RMU's, FMS, etc.. And the man at a wheel its call a pilot. But that vocabulary it's just for people who like planes. I think you are in the wrong channel my friend...

    Oye, sabes una forma fácil o no tan difícil de cómo aprender el inglés técnico más avanzado, mi inglés no técnico la verdad es muy bueno, he tenido inglés toda mi vida y voy muy seguido a USA, pero el del ATC a veces se me complica mucho jaja, de que cuando escucho el Live atc... Tú cómo le hiciste para no complicarte tanto en eso? Saludos, excelente video, me gustó mucho este!

    Hola Christian Soto
    Según tengo entendido el ERJ 145 no tiene autotrothle. Mi pregunta es, al ir en piloto automático, cuando el avión va en ascenso, vuelo recto y nivelado y descenso, de que forma puedes saber cuánta potencia darle o quitarle al motor si le dices al piloto automático que ascienda o descienda a x nivel de vuelo ?
    Desde ya muchas gracias

    • @lgallardo93
      @lgallardo93 7 лет назад

      este... si mira... yo te puedo asesorar... simplemente debes jugar un poco con el clutch cuando vas en pendientes inclinadas, lo sacas pero no muy rápido mientras le das gas. Si se te llega a apagar el avión, no pasa nada, con calma giras el switch y lo prendes pero debes ser rapido en arrancar de nuevo, si no entraras en perdida. (Stall).

    why do you pilot with only your left hand?

    • @byronhenry3746
      @byronhenry3746 6 лет назад

      Baominh Dang Le That's how pilots are trained. You always want your other hand to be able to push the throttles forward in case you need to go-around.

  • @YummiMoney
    @YummiMoney 7 лет назад

    How does the pilot control and turn the aircraft on the ground?

    • @firestrikingaviation9978
      @firestrikingaviation9978 6 лет назад

      YummiMoney rudder pedals you can't see them from this view

    • @firestrikingaviation9978
      @firestrikingaviation9978 6 лет назад +1

      YummiMoney or a thing called a tiller witch is a sort of lever in the cockpit that you move and the plane moves

    • @amerigodenuzzo6281
      @amerigodenuzzo6281 6 лет назад

      The tiller on the left apply hydraulic pressure with the help of actuators on the front wheel. The rudder is only for the tail and become useable after a certain speed due to the airflow around the rudder it’s not connected to the wheel

    Visual conditions and he keeps the autopilot on until 200ft. Seriously? Too afraid to actually fly the plane? But he sure smacks his gum like he's a hot shot.

    • @gallitosoto2
      @gallitosoto2  8 лет назад +25

      Don't be jealous you will be a real pilot some day..

    • @CaptAviator
      @CaptAviator 8 лет назад +12

      +Christian Soto Anaya Yeah, I'm just an airline pilot for one of the Major US Airlines. I flew the E-145 for 9 years at the Regionals. So I repeat: pretty pathetic to keep the autopilot on down to 200ft...ESPECIALLY on a 100% visual day. Don't worry...maybe one day YOU will be a real pilot. You know...one who isn't afraid to actually fly the plane.

    • @gallitosoto2

      +CloudSurfer821 Jaja 9 years wow I'm impressed So?? What's the point we fly more than 80 hours per month some times we like to fly with A/P! I make this videos for people who like to watch cockpit approaches and aviation lovers like me but you my friend you have lost your way you don't belong here please don't come and put this comments here.
