Bonnie you are right there are different body types and NOTHING can alter that I am very fortunate to have a body type never have had cellulite or dimpled fetid don't have fat I am 72 years old and have never been over weight love the Fab, 50's workout!

I’m 69, and getting back into the physical work, of my healthy lifestyle, after the pandemic shutdown of gyms. I appreciate the time and effort you have put into making them, having been an instructor myself in bygone days. I’m finding these videos so enjoyable to do, that they will now become my permanent method of choice, than returning to the gym types. As you said-“we no longer are trying to be athletes,” therefore these routines you have creates, are sufficient enough to keep us all flexible and physically capable, through our latter years!
Being a previous instructor...can you please tell me if we keep our back straight when we squat? Or do we lean forward a little to stick our bum out during the squat? I have asked Shellea this but never a response. I don't want to harm my already messed up back. Thank you!
@@kforrester5500 I first focus, placing my attention in feeling the muscles’ movements, as they are happening, this has me using my muscles to do the work, vs my body’s momentum. Next I place my legs shoulder width apart while inhaling. On the exhale, I push my waistline, and butt “out and backwards,” as if I were going to sit in a chair, until knees are at a 90 angle to the floor-keeping knees and toes aligned. I come up on the inhale, as I begin to push away from the ground, through my heels. I am all the while also squeezing my glutes internally, until I reach the top. I can then hold for several counts, before repeating the move again.

Produces results so fast. I can do these classes in a small space. Calming, motivating and educational. Working up to do 3 classes per day. Shorter classes much appreciated. Less chance for burn out/quitting.

🍇I love & feel the strengthening effects. Not overly jelly-like because I had to do a few less in each of these sets, while trying not to sacrifice"form"? 🌺Wonderful start to Sunday~ My fab50s workouts are my daily gift to me. Moves that start around 1:50 I can do when I alternate legs bc I can't always stand on 1 leg at a time that many seconds(not balance issue, it's my legs being silly.)One thing for sure: I'm immeasurably better in every way for having found these.Thanks,Schellea.🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
My legs are like rubber! I am 67 and love your workouts
I did ballet for years and it didn’t make my legs any “slimmer” though they had lots of muscle and shape. The inner thigh was still soft even with the leg lifts that numbered in the hundreds and the underlying muscle development. Inherited leg shape will determine how slim a leg is. Exercise can firm it up but it won’t make it slim.
You are correct. Even at my slimmest I could not get my legs any slimmer due to years of playing hockey, especially my calf muscles.
Quotidian tends to agree with this having been a gun goer 3- 5 times a week for years... and I'm just 70 so lots of practice 😁
I've been doing yoga for a few years so that helps me get through these. Thanks for the great leg exercises! I love that they are finished in 12 minutes!

I just did this exercise I have wobbly jelly legs before I did this my knee was aching so what did I do looed for an exercise probably not the most sensible thing but at the moment the exercise high is making me feel really good thank you I bless the day I found these exercises slowly but surely I am improving and feeling stronger
