If I had $679 bucks I wouldn’t even buy the rog ally X Less lone a steam deck with a white hard shell I’ll just wait until mid are later next year when the ROG X. Drops to a mush lower price because I already have the rog z1
Sold my 2TB Asus Rog Ally last June for $725. Still have my 512GB LCD Steam Deck. Got the 1TB Lenovo Legion Go last year for $749. I will never buy another device that only plays Steam games out the box.

That's a great way to think. That is exactly how it works out here. Prices like that never stay the same.
You'd be better off getting a 4060 gaming pc during the holiday season sales than a $679 handheld. It's too underpowered, and not worth it.
