Our stories are so similar. We struggled for 13 years with primary infertility then 5 years with secondary infertility. I also had a myomectomy, I had a scheduled C-section for my births. We now have two beautiful boys. 6 years old and 8 months. I still grieve the fact I couldn’t experience the rush of contractions and going to the hospital. We are so grateful for our boys. We still just stare at both of them, we always tell them they were worth the wait. Parenthood is such a blessing. Huge congrats to you and your family. ❤
The body is wonderfully made... I've heard many times that people who "try" to get pregnant and they struggle, and after they adopt, or they stop "trying", they suddenly fall pregnant. I really think people can get miscarriages because the body is just a massive stress ball (you are anxious all the time) but once the stress is relieved, then the body relaxes. Once people stop focusing on getting pregnant, or perhaps some other event in their life happens that shift their focus, then suddenly they fall pregnant. Amazing!
Comments like this infuriate me. What do you even mean by “trying”? How does it differ from trying? I guarantee that non of those people who you think stopped, as you put it, “trying” haven’t actually stopped thinking and hoping. If you haven’t been through it you aren’t competent to comment.

Somethings involve generational curses and spiritual matters we don't quite delve into or God closed the womb as in Hannah. But you are right. Is God enough if you never have your own children? This can go for marriage as well. We have to let go you know. But this reminds me of Hannah and her consistent pleas to the Lord for a child. Love the story. So so sweet!!!! She is so adorable, what a true blessing!! ❤❤❤So worth all the effort with the breastfeeding 😊. I was an exclusive pumper with my baby last year and it is more work but I was able to store up enough milk for the whole next year! So I guess that’s the pros of pumping haha. So glad her latch got better, way to stick to it! Then 8 months ago I got pregnant again and now I am so glad I had all the milk stored because pregnancy dried up my milk!
