I cried so many times in this video. I feel like I learned so much about God and his character in this video. God is so, so good. Congratulations! I know our stories are very different, but I am currently 10 weeks and 3 days into my first pregnancy, and I've been spotting on and off since the day after I found out, and on progesterone since then. Baby is doing great, all of my betas have been great, ultrasounds have been perfect, I've had symptoms, but it's been scary. I know it's a very different journey, but this video really blessed me and my relationship with God. Thank you for sharing your story, and congratulations!

Congratulations Kristen and Zack! For your fellow Christians, I hope you take away that fertility treatment is not shameful and actually works. Despite all the talk about Gods perfect design, actually 1 in 3 pregnancies end in miscarriage, so it is not abnormal in any way to have infertility issues.
Praise God! Your story is incredible and this little girl is so blessed. We’re due the same week :) God also gave us a baby when we were nooot expecting it and we couldn’t be more grateful. ❤❤ Prayers for your delivery and the newborn stage as a whole family!!

I don't know that you'll even see this but just wanted to say WOW what a GOD story of His goodness! Thank you so much for sharing your story because I have somewhat been alongside your journey since I started following you yeeeears ago if even just through "online." Its so joyful and a blessing to see whenever God fulfills a longing or prayer. My husband and I are currently going through " unexplained infertility" as well trying for a baby for 3 years, never gotten pregnant or miscarried. It's interesting because some of the things Zack expressed about how he felt is the same way my husband feels in our current TTC journey. He says whether we have a baby or not, it's up to the Lord and he is fine either way but I don't necessarily share in those same feelings. I'm more like you Kirstin where I cry and long and pray for a baby. I still hope that we can receive our answered prayer.

Could you share some day your perspective about fertility treatments as christians? It would be interesting to see trough the eyes of someone who have walk that path (in the same way it has been amazing to learn about adoption from your experience).
And also was this through fertility treatment or a natural surprise.

What an absolutely amazing witness to the will of God and surrender to his divine will- especially in a world where people NEED to have a child and will do anything outside of God’s plan like ivf or other immoral things :(….so tempting to try all that stuff but at the end of the day GOD IS IN CHARGE!!! Over 3 years of infertility and God blessed us with our first baby boy miraculously! ❤❤

I'm pretty sure they did do other things to have this baby, they went to the doctor and I'm sure I heard her say she was on progesterone. Maybe I'm wrong but I hope you're happy for them either way 😊

I think the Lord has blessed you with a baby because you let go of wanting one so bad. I think when we want something very bad and idolize it the lord will not send it or allow it to happen because that idol will take place in your heart before God. I wanted to be married so bad but then in my late 20s I let it go and was ok being single and didn’t need to be married. That’s when I met my husband so happy for you Kristin getting pregnant in your 30s is wonderful!

This narrative you espouse here that is so prevalent in some Christian quarters is unscriptural. We have repeated it so much in Christendom that it sounds good and sounds right but it’s not scriptural. Wanting something so bad is not wrong and certainly wanting something so bad does not equate to idolisation either. The desires of our heart are placed there by God and we should never pretend that we don’t want something when infact we want it so bad and there is nothing wrong in expressing that desire before God. To not express it is to be insincere before God and that in itself is wrong. God invites us in prayer to make our requests known unto Him. What we have to pray to God for is for grace to wait for His opportune time and for grace to wait well. But we must never not express the desires of our heart or pretend before God. It will happen on His timeline and not ours. Also pretending that we don’t desire something when in fact we do will not bring us that answer to prayer any faster. Prayers are answered in God’s time and in His way🙏🏾

Ask millions of Christian’s when they finally let things go they were holding onto other than Christ and then it happened. I’m not saying it’s a sin to want children very badly but things happen in Gods timing
