The Canyon Pack Still Howls

A treat for all who loved the Canyon Pack, to hear them howl in the early morning.
The Canyon Pack in Yellowstone, lived in Hayden Valley. The alpha male was 712 and the alpha female was the White Lady. This mated pair of wolves were a couple for longer than any other wolves in the park and lived a long life. The White Lady was poached just inside of the national park - she was shot and left to die but found still alive. The park service had to end the suffering of this much loved and famous wolf.
This is a much cherished video of the Canyons howling in Hayden Valley early one morning. Thanks to the videos and images of these famous wolves, they still live in our hearts and we get to see and hear them once in awhile.
