THE WORLD’S HEAVIEST monster truck, Bigfoot #5, stands 15ft 6" tall and weighs a colossal 38,000lbs. The truck debuted in 1986 and was officially recognised by the Guinness World Records as “the world’s tallest, widest and heaviest monster truck” in 2002 - holding the record until today. Bigfoot was built by Bob Chandler in 1975 after he modified a Ford F-250 pickup truck. Since then, Bob has introduced over 20 Bigfoot trucks and has helped to invent the entire monster truck sport as we know it today. Bob said: “Bigfoot was the first. I’ve got the best. Nobody else can top it. Still amazes me when it drives down the street. People just stare, awe at this thing. It’s just one of a kind.” The truck resides at the company headquarters in Missouri and is now mostly used as a display vehicle.

Bigfoot is the legend, the great grandfather of all monstertrucks! ❤
When I was a kid in early 90s i saw a VHS with monster trucks here in eastern europe, Bigfoot was the one that scared me.
This guy and his trucks WAS my childhood!❤.
"Worlds biggest monster truck"
Monster Max 2 has entered the chat.
Bigfoot 5 left the chat😐
Pretty sure bigfoot 5 is still bigger...
@@Ethan-ck6iz Spoiler: It's not.
is monster max 2 even a monster truck anymore like it is massive
Yup
Gravedigger was my favourite monster truck, but Big foot was always there as the first.
These are the tires whistlindiesel needs lmao
The tires on monster max are actually bigger
@@zachclark950 no the bigfoot 5 are ten foot tall a full adult can stand straight up you cant do it in monster max 2
@@zachclark950 they are not bigger but monstermax is actually more functional then big foot 5 and allegedly taller
@@karigislaBigfoot 5 is still pretty functional
It’s done a few races, it’s rock crawled, it’s been mud bogging, it’s pulled sleds with ease, and it even did a few obstacle courses and hit a pretty damn good speed
Meanwhile monstermax is still in the garage
@@Leatherface123.and the first time he’s taken it out in a long while, a bunch of suspension completely shreds itself apart 😂
Bigfoot is a world phenom. I live half way across the world but kept hearing a truck with big tires that crushes cars as a kid.
I’m 40 minutes away from it. Used to be 30 until they moved to a bigger shop.
In Hawaii we couldn’t get enough that truck rocks everywhere we wish we had this lol
He casually uses Alaskan land train tires 😂😂
Every documentary or journalist filming a vehicle

im subed to you foo
You can sure spot those Saturday Evening Sentinels Cartoon Columnists.
Them Stompers look more peaceful and natural than a Cold Twill suit in a Frog's Matchbox laid on the bed like a tipped over egg basket.
Big Foot is an American icon
The Legend Bigfoot 🙌
so amazing video, thx for the video
WOW AMAZING MONSTER TRUCK
2:09 RIP me wearing headphones.
Man I loved those early days in the 80s.
Wow truc 💪
Hot wheels: (heavy breathing)
not pretty if he trips forwards walking on that tyre
The thing crushes monster trucks literally
cool cars
we love them
These are not cars.
Imagine how difficult it would be to tow these trucks
make the bigfoot: tow edition 😎
I don’t think a tow truck can handle that 😂
Might need an 18 wheeler
they have tow trucks with 4 front tires that all steer just to move these things, just an fyi
They replace these huge tyres with small tyres for the purpose of moving the thing anywhere around
i sat in the wheel of the one in the thumbnail lol
Legend❤️
Get ready for monster max 2
I love those trucks
Gotta love them American Trucks!!!
GOOD SHOW
U know could see this big foot every day bc it's at a BNH and in Pacific and I LIve right THERE! Its rlly big and cool saw it every day on the school bus!
lucky
These tires are 🔥.
Still awesome.
And if you thought that was big, you should see the size of the land train that these tyres came from!
Tug of war vs monster max 2
Brilliant job 👍cheers from Poland
I'M STRICTLY CHEVROLET/GM BUT THIS MONSTER IS THE BADDEST FORD EVER 👏
19 tons of awesome
I want to see Bigfoot 5 vs Whistlindiesels Monstermax 2
I remember as a little kid being suprised the rims can fit a person
38000lbs!! That’s almost the weight of 2 semis I never knew they made a monster truck that massive I thought that was only on the brave lil toaster
Terrel Campbell that’s why I said semi as in just the tractor. A semi & trailer fully loaded to legal weights is 80,000
@@mkowboy13 A Semi & an empty trailer only weighs 32,000 - 34,000
The best monster truck.
The best driver is Dennis Anderson.
I very seldom see any Ford fullsize pickups with the same body style as the first Bigfoot around nowadays.
Well Bigfoot #1 is based off of a 1974 F-250 with an updated 1979 Front clip, you don't see to many of any vehicles from that era these days sadly.
That body style only lasted 5 years, and the front fascia used on Bigfoot #1 only lasted 2 years (1978 and '79). That, and the fact that a lot of them were used as farm trucks and run into the ground, is probably why they're not around much anymore.
@@michaelramsey82 & Nathan McDonald. But I do still see several of the brick nose F-series pickups out on the roads today which were the ones made from 1987 through 1991.
@michaelramsey82 well considering ford and chevy only stays in a driveway for 3 years and 90% of the time gets replaced. It's believable
if i drive bigfoot 5: me: I CANT SEE WHERE IM GOING me: *crushes a car*
Bigfoot will ALWAYS be my number 1.
Everyone gangsta till he falls of the tyre
Bob will never mention Bigfoot #7 lol
Why
Bigfoot 7 is a statue basically it has no internals and never ran like that plus it’s a few inches smaller
My grandparents lived about 3 miles up the road from their old headquarters in Hazelwood Missouri. I must have about 1000 pictures of me and my brothers standing in this truck’s rims.
I remember over 30 years ago (give or take) Little Caesar's Pizza mocked Pizza Hut's "Bigfoot" pizza by showing 2 massive tires crushing a giant monster truck and the narrator said "If you thought Bigfoot was big!" And 2 old ladies were watching the "big foot" get squashed.
Anyways, its safe to say that was the biggest monster truck. Even tho we never saw the cab or truck itself. Just massive tires.
How many remember that commercial?
Whistlindiesels truck, "monstermax" is now the biggest pickup in the world, we should see a comparison and tug of war?
Nobody:
What I build in Main Assembly:
Wow these things are uge I would truly like to ride in one

Big truck go vroom vroom
bigfoot 5 is the only monster truck that can drive at the road
not really there's other trucks that was street leagal
Now make a diy Tyre change video
YES
They only have 4 of the tires
So you JIM KRAMER invented “Ghost Riding” but on a whole different level. By dude got out .. let the truck roll - then rolled back up onto the truck - by way of jumbo tire - waved and got back in like it was nothing 😅
It’s the famous tire walk
Back in the days of real monster trucks
big FOOT is my favarite monster truck ever and i am 14
It is a dream of mind to build a truck like Bigfoot #5 and there are currently tires that are bigger than the 10-foot tall ones. Maybe one day 🤔
Good luck buying $50,000 tires legally they are sold to construction companies you really can’t get them for yourself
Good lu-- oh I already said that
@@Leatherface123. WRONG!
@@ls6king316 proof?
COOL
Monster Maxx 2 might give her a run for biggest heavyweight monster truck here in about 4 months 😁
I wish the land trams where still around but it will live on in big foot
Both of the overland trains are on display in museums after they were rescued from junkyards
Bigfoot 7 also has the big wheels
Omg does Whistlin Diesel know about this?
I'm old enough to remember the first Bigfoot
I'm fan enough to know the first bigfoot
Same
I’m 15 and Bigfoot was the first time I ever even heard about automobiles
And now we have evolved to monstermax
With the super duals
Bruh watch his new vid with those axles
Dennis Anderson: show off!
Bigfoot 5 is about 15.4 feet tall wow that tall imagen being that tall
Theres some1 8 ft tall
15’6” exact
why the 15sec empty white part at the end?
How do you climb up in that thing?
That is the biggest wheel in the world😨
The Monster Truck that could crush other monster trucks. Whistling Diesel has nothing on this true monster
The truck is cool. But it breaks my heart seeing cars being destroyed
So cars that don’t work that can’t be sold and are useless hearts your hart
I love watching cars getting crushed. By far my favorite are Mustang’s showing off and wrapping around trees.
You'd love the film Christine then. She gets crushed then magically and demonically self-fixes.
@@moaningpheromones but in reality they destroyed 6 or more cars in order to make that movie :(
Oh my gosh, it’s the second biggest truck in the world 😂😂😂😂 WD
Imagine this truck pulling up to discount tire for air checks.....
Bob world League !
Geez Louise
Bigfoot is the biggest.
Street light pole: "Yea right."
I lived across from the people who owned this truck the boys are crazy I was no the back of a quad with one of the guys going straight up a 20 foot hill and landing on all 4 wheels at 11 years old after getting trampled by a horse that day.
Then came Whistlindiesel
Car was held at the detroit car show downtown for a while
4.7 meters, 38,000 lbs, someone can’t decide between imperial and freedom units.
Must be Canadian 🤣
How dare they do that to an American truck
@@Leatherface123. but meters and kilos are more precisely!
Not for us Americans
Plus We don’t measure with that
Very big cars
There trucks city boy.
So, this thing is street legal right?
The good old days of The 80s. I’d do anything if I could’ve been alive then and be a part of it.
Same honestly! Before all this technology
5
Nah I’m good where I’m at
I just wonder how the hell did a regular ford ranger turn into this
Who do you go on it
I saw it at Race Rok when that restaurant was a thing
Me to ,got photo of my son inside one of the wheels!
That wasn't the real #5 but still really neat though 👀
that was dubbed either Bigfoot 13 or Race Rock 2. the first Race Rock truck was Bigfoot 7 and had a similar body to 5, Race Rock 2 had a super Duty body and now sits in a museum.
@@LUNITICWILL where did the wheels come from?
Bigfoot 5 remains in Bigfoot ownership and is taken with them they do not leave and they will always come back for it
Goes 0-60 in 4hrs!
Is it going to Hawaii to drive in lava too?
There's never been ever bigger than this has there?
The monstertruck who kills monstertrucks
We need a ladder to this😂
First
Monster truck in existence is pretty cool to see.
Lmao
That thing looks like it can crush a semi truck
Cause it can. Search up the bigfoot completely destroying other normal size monster trucks
The worlds biggest truck in the earth
We know, batteries not included. 🤦🏻♂️
We need a size comparison
Just imagine how big the axels are
5 ton military axles
But how does he get in the cab without it moving?
Climbs onto the axle climbs from the wheel well
I remember one of Bigfoots first movie appearances when it crushed a new Porsche 911 Turbo back in the 80s I think it was. But What was the movie? Can’t think of it.👍🇦🇺😁
Cannonball run 2
One of the things i noticed in that scene, is when the guy gets out of the porsche, the rear quarter panel (fender) is normal, but when it cuts to the other camera before bigfoot crushes it, it's got huge dents along there.
Also, it was a Porsche 928
NOSTALGIA
I have stock 92 f150 can I make a monster truck? lol
😎
