    I am completely amazed by the Core range and thinking seriously of employing 4 Core subs for residential use. I currently have 4 Audio Physic Rhea II subwoofers driven from Trinnov Amethyst. I am lost to find any other subwoofer in this category that equals the core sub…. I believe a full digital path from Trinnov into 4 core subs would be unreal, just the fit’n’finish of the pro products is not ideal in a residential setting.

    Dynaudio!! Are the crossovers/filters done entirely analog? What I mean is that I don't want to have any A/D and D/A conversion done by this SUB's DSP processing and want to make sure that my audio path from my mastering converter is purely analog right to the "satellites". Is this possible? Or the conversion is unavoidable? I can see that there is this fantastic option to dial the crossover frequency hence my question :))

      Hi. Thanks for reaching out.
      All the Core filters are digital. We consider Core monitors 'digital loudspeakers with an analogue input’.
      Therefore, we suggest to not use the external mastering convertor and run the digital signal straight to the Core speakers to avoid a layer of conversion.

    2:09 why is the input power rating a mere 70W for the core 59, when the amplifiers are rated at 150+500+500 W? The fuse seems fine 250V at 4A, though. Dynaudio, explain....

    • @dynaudioprofessional
      @dynaudioprofessional  4 года назад

      Hi. Well, the international standard for how to define power consumption is 1/8 maximum unclipped power hence the 70 W continuous power rating on Core. These are the international rules on defining power rating for all the required testing, and all manufactures have to follow these rules. Obviously, we do that as well. :-)

      Yes, absolutely! And in immersive systems for e.g. Dolby Atmos as well. 👍

    25kg of speaker // 9.5 Woofer // $2.500 per unit...
    And you tell me it only reproduce 42hz on the bottom end?
    Whats the logic behind ? Its kinda disappointing...

      Hi Thiago. We could have made the all the Core models go lower, but that bass extension comes at the expense of SPL. Of course then there is the Core Sub that fits perfectly with all Core speakers and that will extend your lows massively. Hope this helps. :-)

    Bought a pair of Core 59. Amazing sound. First monitor failed after 1 month. Sent it in for repair. Repair will take (at least) 2 months. If you want to earn money with these monitors, buy another brand. When changing sampling rate, it sometimes pops loudly. As said in the video, they wanted to make it "accessible". Another word for poor build quality??
