      To be honest, working as a lawyer is not exactly like working in a factory, beating an anvil..it's a work of brain,not physically exhausting..this work helps keeping the brain fresh and constantly working and preserves the body..i think this is the reason why this man is still so healthy.

      @@drchan5893 I used to do 45 situps morning and night. I loved how it felt to keep my core strong. My muscles are still tight inside at 55. I admit scoliosis keeps me from doing situps now. But I do other exercises. 💪

      @@JJ-Malone yes ofc im feeling you and im et you'r side in that but we are not talking about that.. i think its more about the 1 "minute" situation as the lawyer was just defending its un-human to pass a ticket for a 1 minute diference ofc the parking officer was just doing it job , but the truth is when you pass a ticket for a one minut dif. then something is wrong as courts are more about human\human behaviour its easier to be on the old man side , in the end thats what make us human anyways if it was a computer ruled society ofc the even 1 second would count but its a human society where people still have feelings and passing a ticket for just 1 minute its idiotic

      @@JJ-Malone ye but the thing you cant prove that he was not 1 minute late , thats was the base of his entire defense ofc he was given " a free pass" for being old and was more of a "funny way" of showing respect for " what it looks like a legend lawyer as its very well known by the legal circle" but even putting all that a side , he could allways "win" as they cant prove he was not in time its his argument against the ticket officer and the ticket officer not giving a enough grace period allways lose , thats the point in going to court anyway debating laws if it was not like this what would be the point in going to court anyway? well the law says this so so !you are done! .. no point in having courts judges etc.. would be like: its like this deal with it so 1000 in fines but sir i have a good excuse , i was in accident! no point my friend the law is the law , that is simply draconic and nonsense

      wkualum Honestly This case is an exact example of why he shouldn’t be on the Supreme Court. The law is clear and he dismissed the case. He’s great for a municipal court but I don’t think the Supreme Court suits him.

    Two Supreme court lawyers, with my estimate say 100 plus years experience of practicing law, got a 25$ parking ticket waived. That law degree is really worth something.

    One of my favorite Caught in Providence cases - thank you! Now that I'm a senior, watching a 91 year old man like this who is still sharp, including a great personality and sense of humor makes me feel better about my own aging, that I too often disparage.

    Amazes me how principled many of the older generation are. At 91, a lawyer for many years, I am sure the fine of $25 would have not been an issue to pay, honestly it would have probably been easier than going to court.

    Since I was a child I always cared for the elderly and wanted to hangout with the old ladies, we’d go to church, wrap gifts and gardening. (I would take their flowers from their yard ) knew and instead took me in and considered them my grandparents since mine passed. So sweet. I’m 28 now, so I pray those ladies are alive and I could find them 🥲🤍🙏🏽

      Correct, my grandfather also worked til he was 92 years old. He lived to 94, sharp as a tack still walking and talking. That's the secret, never stop and get complacent.

    I am 23 and cannot even handle the LSAT yet. This guy is 91 and is still hammering a legal career. Makes me worry as to how millenials like me can ever hope to live up to what the pre-boomer generation (1920s, 30s) can do.
