Thank You so much for your video! I just replaced the printed circuit board on my max air fan. I followed your directions. The only problem I had was getting the wire connectors apart. The plastic white things you have to pull apart with the sheer force of Hercules. You know the things!! Other than that I had no problems and my fan is working again without the Green Light of Death. Thank you. Oh thanks for the fuse hint!
Hi Sally! Just had my Maxxair fail on me which brought me to your video. Im going to start with disassembly and cleaning. I hope it's that simple but with my luck I'd best be prepared for the worst. *sigh* I like you am going to try fixing my fan myself. Is it okay if I contact you if I get stuck or for moral support? After I pull the fuse I'm guessing the next step is a cocktail 🍸😂
Nope. The issue with fan was that it emitted a burning smell. I didn't see any reason to check the fuse beforehand. I had closed the skylight vent shortly before I started. that’s on the same fuse, so I guess indeed I did check the fuse. More importantly, is to pull the fuse before you start the job!

So glad you got it fixed!
Nice!
It's definitely nice to have the fan working again!
Good job! 👏🏻
Thanks!
I am impressed! I know who to call if my Maxi fan fails😂
I was a bit impressed myself!
Great job Sally!!!
Thanks! It was a relief to get my fan working again!
Way to go. You did it
Thanks!

That’s about how I did it!!
Hi Sally, could you let me know where you get your Maxxair circuit board, thanks
The manufacturer sent it to me as a warranty replacement.
Did you check the fuses before you began the disassemble?
