About Kars: "Lastly, there are likely some of you out there that think Kars might come back to Earth at some point, but as the creator, I actually drew this with the intention of him never coming back again (Laughs). The line about him "deciding to stop thinking" was something that came to me naturally when I was thinking about what you would do if you were journeying through space and you became unable to return. The fact that he cannot fulfill his wish to go back--no matter how much he wants to while time continues ticking on--may be the harshest punishment possible for Kars as the Ultimate Being. That's why, unless I can come up with a logical reason for him to come back, like maybe him developing a compass-like ability, or crashing down on some other civilization, that final scene will be his last one." -Hirohiko Araki, Jojonium Volume 7 Interview.
Pikaman20008 shhhh... no no no no, honey this was Araki's fault, forget about all that supporting information, Araki just forgot to bring him back so he added that in
The stupidest one is Dio allegedly contradicticting himself when calling Hermit Purple the weakest stand, when he later claims that some other stand is the weakest one. I mean, do people really not understand that he is shit-talking Joseph?
Compared to the other crusaders, DIO is correct. Literally a bunch of vines, and the Stand is used for utility than attack. The other Stands the Crusaders possess are much more powerful than Hermit Purple.
Sadly, this is no longer true. Recent pictures do show his age. Does he still look good for his age? Yes, but he doesn't look young anymore. You can tell he's 50-something.
He does forgot things like designs, accessories and such (he said it himself in that one interview video) but I think all the story/ability changes are conscious choice. He's basically writing as he goes, instead of planning all the plot points and he just doesn't care that he has to change something midway.
Don’t know how or why that’s a thing. Now if it’s science Kars can get back to earth’s gravitational pull. Not saying it’s possible, but I can’t compete with anime science, because Jotaro vs Josuke with healing abilities Jotaro somehow revived his grandpa.
Now what would have happened if Josuke tried to heal Joseph's hand? Would Kars get brought all the way back to Earth, or would it just not do anything?
@@klutzspecter3470 its almost like his grandpa wasn't dead and was only dying from loss of blood and all jotaro did was re-inject the blood, just like giorno did with the snake to cure purple haze's poison

@@shiro-san7379 Yeah i don't get why people still try to find a deeper meaning to something so simple. The delinquent was just a symbol on how it would impact josuke on how he acts and form his principles yet they want that character to be something bigger than it already is. I swear I've seen a lot of people claim it to be a time travel version of Josuke. It's really not that deep. Lol
Tbf... the anime did portray Speedwagon abs glowing bright orange like an oven with an active fire. Either way Speedwagon literally does say that he’s just using his body heat though so I don’t know why people thought he had heat powers
There are barely any "Araki forgot" moments, a whole lot of "the fans forgot", and just as much of "Araki intentionally ignored something he didn't like to tell a better story".
Super Neko Majin there are a few mainly because he’s been writing for 30+ years over 8 parts so yeah he’s gonna forget stuff but it’s more “araki got bored”. That being said I haven’t heard half of these “araki forgot” except the hamon rock thing.
@@flavindabre818 I'm pretty sure that guy's identity wasn't expanded on because Araki just didn't think it mattered. A random stranger helped Josuke and his mother when they needed help, and they never saw him again. That's all.
@@kingsomething4356 Same with the Janken kid vs Rohan fight I dont think they genuinely jumped 10 meters into the air, it wasnt definitely just DP making the shots big epic
I can't stress it enough how I hate these types of statement. It's a horrendous made up excuse for people to act superior by spending they entire weeks on finding little details, without enjoying the manga itself.
I love the way that the problem people had with Dire was that he was using Hamon while a severed head, not the fact he was talking and moving as a severed head.
For Part 4: Araki forgot that Rohan has to show people his manga for Heaven’s Door to work. Explanation: Rohan’s literal next appearance after he’s introduced he explains that he’s been training with his stand and he doesn’t need to do that anymore.
people will also say "well what about when he said it wouldn't work on people like jouske yet it works on him in the high way star battle" but people forget, at the time it didn't work on josuke, he was so raged out, he didn't see the manga. rohan just assumed it wouldn't work on josuke. his ability still won't work on certain people. only difference is that it's easier to use now. he can draw in the air to see if the person reacts but usually rohan just simply takes chances and tries.
People are kinda retarded. Rohan didn't even reveal his stand in the first fight, so obviously he must not have a visual stand, thats the only conclusion that makes sense, if i didnt know this off the bat then it cant be true later
@@weshannum4961 Like seriously, every time heaven's door's ability is activated, the victim needs to see the character that later became the stand. Rohan just learned to draw it mid air to summon it. While stand stats are bullshit for the most part, heaven's door has A in development potential.
I mean, even though that's less of a "he forgot" moment, it's still a moment of bad writing for a number of reasons. 1. Character's ability changes off-screen 2. Character's ability changes in a way that doesn't really affect the fights they appear in (HD is literally useless against Boy II Man, Highway Star, and Cheap Trick anyway, so speed is irrelevant) 3. Character's ability could've been improved in a much smarter way (if he drew HD on the back of his hand every morning then he wouldn't need to draw it in mid-air whenever he sees a potential threat, he could just show the back of his hand)
The whole "they forgot hamon heals people" thing is a little absurd. How do they think Joseph walks away from all his battles? He's usually beat to absolute shit but he uses hamon to heal. How could he have fought Kars literally like 20 minutes after Wammu nearly killed him if not for hamon? He literally couldn't stand after the Wamu fight and had internal organ damage but he was in tip top shape ready to run when he gets Kars to chase him. His hamon being weak after the fight wasn't because he used it all on Wamu, he barely used any in that fight. He used it all healing his massive internal organ damage and broken ribs.
Araki does hv a lot instances of bad writing though. A lot of the debunking done in this video is basically giving araki and the show the benefit of a doubt instead of concrete evidence
@@makchot3263 i mean you can also turn it the exact opposite way an saying that people are absolutely overthinking things or just straightout ignoring stuff that is right in front of them. Real talk, I feel bad for Santana. He was orphaned and kidnapped as a baby, then abandoned by his family's murderers/adopted "family," only to be stuck in his stone form for all eternity. Same fate as Kars essentially
i think its a case of how quickly he aged compared to straizo and lisa lisa, which i just assumed the reason he aged faster then those 2 is b/c he just stop using it that much and both straizo and lisa lisa are dedicated hamon users who practice all the time so theyd see the anti aging part of hamon be more effective. Though that doesnt explain why part 4 joseph aged even faster then that since tompetty was like 100ish (if i remember right) when he trained zeppeli and 120ish during phantom blood and he barely aged even with the same logic of joseph slacking he shouldnt be a diaper grampa
Mary popoe the reason other hamon users age less is because not only do they practice it regularly but also live full hamon lifestyles which dictates what they eat and how the live, think of it as some scummy pseudo enlightened lifestyle but actually real and on crack. Joseph is shown to be lazy and not dedicated enough to follow through with that. His aging process is slowed in part 3 because of hamon where he has the looks of an old man but his body is much stronger. He ages so fast in part 4 is probably because the more you age the faster the aging will take place especially if you dropped hamon completely because there was no other reason to have it. He did pick it back up in the end of part 4 to be able to raise the invisible baby. Also, Joseph is not completely senile in part 4 as there are moments were he talks like he used to in part 3 and I think he's faking it or doesn't care enough to try and talk normally all the time as he has accepted his age.
@@youssefsaad9277 yeah didnt really think about the life style stuff outside of the training tbh since it doesnt make that big of a difference. but yeah joseph got hit by gravity hard since gravity is part of why we physically age

Can you address Kakyoin’s “ability” to harm people he made a painting of? Even though he’s clearly just using the painting to command Hierophant to attack Jotaro in that scene, people legitimately think that this is actually an ability that Araki forgot about.
4G LTE It‘s even implied that Hierophant has the ability to turn invisible during the DIO‘s World Arc. This would explain how he managed to attack Jotaro without him seeing Hierophant. The painting was probably a stylistic choice to make the scene look more dramatic and cool in the Manga. If it weren‘t there then Kakyoin whould just stand there menacingly doing nothing. Not as cool as the painting.
The painting and the puppet could've been just to divert people's attention and make the green power ranger shooting emeralds a bigger surprise, or probably explore "What stands could be". Since they basically are psychic powers, so using tools or something (like Ebony Devil and a puppet) could've been an initial idea. It's also probably a sign of "Kakyoin is being controlled, isn't being himself" and the way he fights and acts for the rest of the Part is a conscious effort to go against his first appearance. Araki also uses a lot of Tarot meanings in his character developing. Look up upright and reversed meanings of Tarot cards, explains a bunch of "plot-holes" like why DIO decided to sit on his ass for most of the Part.
@@CrashBandicootFan100 Nice u bring up Tarrot, 'cause I noticed that a lot of ppl seem to think that cards are there 'cause it's epic or sth like that but characters and stands refer to cards for a reason
Half of these are just "this character/item isnt a constant part of the story." Like... do people think every character that ever shows up needs to actively continue being part of the plotline until they die? Like... side characters are just not a thing to some people, i guess.
Why would you want to see that scene? Like it would not add anything to the plot, it wouldnt be interesting, fun, cute, it would just be there for fanservice. Jojo does not have many romance scenes why would Araki include this? There are only 2 kisses in Jojo and they are both forced. First one is Dio sexually assauting Erina and the second one, Dio wanting to suffocate Hot Pants.

weird that fans of a story with such strong continuity has such a strong focus on plotholes. there are so many work of fictions with actual plotholes and nobody seems to give a shit.
I think a big part of it is that they get too excited about the idea of finding a plot hole because Araki's so good at avoiding them that it's like a treasure hunt.
I think that's what pisses people off. The fact that Speedwagon explains simple obvious shit people already know, but then unclear stuff isn't really explained at all. Alot of these "akari forgot" points I agree are stupid, but I do think some of them weren't explained well in the anime.
Yudron Micros “bro, do you even sentence?” Sorry, I can’t fathom the context of this sentence and it’s grammatical errors. Could you restate your question with grammatical corrections?
The ring one specially bugs me: "I thought it was going to be used later when Jonathan proposes to Erina and it was going to be passed from generation to generation" as if that ever happens in life. It was just a minor plot point that was never given that much weight, and then that guy just goes with his "no, it's just lazy writing", no it is not, it's putting your priorities in your story and knowing what's actually important and what isn't, not every single goddamn plot point is important.
Bolin's Show To be fair, one of the show’s central themes is bloodlines, and carrying tradition from generation to generation. The ring would have fit nicely with this. Is it lazy writing that it wasn’t used? Nah, who cares
I feel like you missed the 'Araki forgot' about how Straizo and Joseph aged, unlike Will And Lisa Lisa. People always forget about Tompetty who was already old, and even died of old age between Parts 1 and 2, also the fact that Straizo in part 2 and Joseph in part 3 are way older, in their late 60s, than Will and Lisa Lisa who were 50.
The reason for Joseph is pretty clear-cut, to be honest. He didn't keep up with his Hamon training. He was always a slacker, and only really learned Hamon properly when it became life/world-threatening. That, and he saw what constant Hamon training does to a person, and wanted to live and grow old with Suzi Q like a normal man would.
I think it was xForts who explained that is because Hamon training is what prevents it's practicioners from aging, not Hamon itself. Besides, at 50 years people don't actually look that old.
my man polnareff was nerfed at the amazing level remember when he could take off the silver chariot armor to get fast enough to create afterimages? i know araki forgot because after ONE fight scene it's totally ignored or better forgotten, i mean it's not like polnareff died for a guy who said he could die with an accurate attack and who for a few seconds of difference was left with the arm bleeding like hell
Nice, those "where character go do Araki forget?" type questions are always annoying, as if we need to see every single action of every single character at all times. Better to leave some characters' futures up to the imagination than bloat the series with "Oh and x, y, z and aa did this, that, blah blah blah"
a DOOR text overedited to perfection y’all asking unimportant questions y’all need to ask what happened to the guys carrying dio’s coffin at the end of part 1 they had such an impact on the story but Araki just forget about them, they all could’ve been the villains of part 4
I feel like most people knew about the clackers getting broken, but the intro in the anime shows them a lot and puts too much emphasis on them when they really only matter for like 2 scenes
Another thing that bugs me is "Araki forgot no one can just deflect the emerald splash". First of all, Jotaro is the first stand user Kakyoyin fights so he had no way of knowing it coulf not be deflected. He was under DIO's control and was cocky. Additionally, that statement is only to show Star Platinums strength. Aside from SP ,the only stand that deflects the emerald splash is the world, the same stand as SP. The other enemies only dodge it and the sun did not deflect it, it just was not affected since its a sun.
For all the people who are like : "oh dio said that hermit purple is the weakest but then he says survivor is the weakest!!!" Every time Dio appears in part 6, it's before he even said that hermit purple was the weakest stand
Yeah, it was literally a mocking, I doubt DIO would go like "Joseph Joestar, your stand could be considered weak, even tho stands are not exactly sorted by their damage ratio, but rather how the user makes use of their abilities" no Jesus, DIO literally wanted to kill Joseph, not sit down and talk about stands with him.
@@jadoc3767 Dio: Joseph Joestar... your stand is weak! Because you see, based on my calculations your stand has the least attack ratio of every stand in this series! I read the manga and still feel like there are a lot of moments that could have been portrayed or written better. Like what the hell is up with all the weird ass analogies and metaphors this manga uses? There are a lot of unnecessary moments that are in the show that do make it very "jojo's" but most of the time on subsequent viewings they feel even more unnecessary than before.
In Part 3 Polnareff and Kakyoin are shrinking their stands to help Joseph, the reason that isn't used anymore is because it consumes a large amount of stand energy and the users needs to be calm
It happens again briefly in part 5 and part 8. While Moody Blues is playing Narancia going into the pipe inside the pipe, Abacchio reverts Moody Blues back to its original form, but since Moody Blues wouldn't fit it untransforms at a smaller size. Yoshikage Kira (Joestar) uses Killer Queen sends miniature Sheer Heart Attacks into a blood vessel.
Plus I do not think that shrinking stand is extremely useful. Of course it has its uses, but people who mention it act as if it was an extremely op ability.
It's also the same reason why we don't get SUTAA FINGGAAA anymore. Stabbing people with your 1m finger isn't exactly smart when you can punch them to oblivion.

4:09 I think given how common 'a minor character being overconfident leads to their death' is in fiction nowadays, it makes modern readers expect Santana to come back. Seriously, I can't think of many other situations where noname characters get to laugh about having a villain captured without being horrifically murdered shortly after.
I entirely support this video, mainly because I find most plot holes to exist mainly due to the audience/readers to either fail to use their own minds to form their own conclusions or expect every single detail to be spoon fed to them. I'm not trying to offend anyone, but we can't always expect the writer to explain everything and instead we must think and use our brains to better understand them ourselves via commen sense and use of context clues.

It seems to me that so many "Araki forgot" moments are caused by everybody thinking everything is foreshadowing or never accepting how things end, EVERYTHING needs to be brought back and EVERYTHING is something fo the future. For example, Josuke's savior, which people thought it had to be future Josuke, which didn't make sense in comparison to just being a nice man, or Gold Experience's making senses go wild ability, which just never has a chance to appear again because Giorno never delivers an individual punch in his fights, since Cioccolata or Diavolo got beatdowns. Even "No One can Deflect the Emerald Slpash™" is a misconception, funny jokes, but Star Platinum and The World were the only to actually deflect it rather than dodge it. Hi Hamon Beat, I really love your content and this series of videos. I've never had a problem with these supposed "Araki forgot" moments. However, there's one detail from Part 1 that you didn't mention that's always bugged me a bit. I've only watched the anime, so perhaps this misunderstanding stems from a dissimilarity between the manga and the DP adaptation: After Jonathan, Speedwagon and Poco meet Zeppeli's fellow Hamon monks (Straizo, Dire, and Tonpetty), they are shown to be quite a distance from Dio's castle. Now, spacial perception has been inconsistent/stylistically altered many times before in Jojo's, but this doesn't strike me as one of those instances. So, with how much time the entire crew was together before they faced Dio, I find it a bit hard to believe that NONE of the three who witnessed the earlier battle with Dio didn't bring up the threat of his flash freezing ability. It's the one factor Dio had that he could use to truly protect himself from Hamon, and it was this unexpected factor that stopped even Zeppeli from hurting him. Yet, when the battle with Dio starts, Dire jumps straight in for an attack that would inevitably leave him wide open to being frozen. Now, with all of the very stressful events going on, maybe a detail like this might have slipped up. Maybe Jonathan and Speedwagon were so focused and intense from Zeppeli's tragic death that they were distracted from being able to properly plan. Maybe on their journey to Dio's castle, they were ambushed repeatedly by zombies (not unreasonable, considering they ran into a zombie before reaching town). Being in constant expectation of an ambush would certainly be distracting. Because it doesn't really defy any of the events that occur, I wouldn't call this a plothole. However, this still might be a case of Araki Forgot
I have a question about Kars; I’m not bringing up potential plot holes or anything, but we all know Araki loves his poetic scenarios. I was wondering if anybody else thought that Kars’ last ditch effort to use air jets to bring himself back to earth, only to have them freeze, was Karma getting back at Kars for betraying Wammu’s pride as a warrior. If Wammu had seen the way Kars fought Lisa Lisa, he surely wouldn’t have approved (even if he wouldn’t have fought Kars on the matter). So after betraying his own companion’s spirit, he doesn’t get to use his abilities to save his ass. Ironically, if Kars WAS gonna rip off one of his friend’s abilities to save himself, it would have been much smarter to try to use Ecidici’s Boiling Blood and THEN use Wammu’s air jets
for the clackers thing, um wasn't the only reason he got them in the first place to one up ceaser? After seeing ceaser weaponize soap, Joseph wanted to show him up by weaponizing something even more ridiculous, like a childrens toy? So of course he was never going to really rely on them in the first place, he just grabbed them without thinking but it ended up working somehow

God this is such a good series concept. Debunking false, yet widespread information is so good for a series like JoJo, where people seem to conflate memes and other random crap with the actual series and think they know what they're talking about when all they're doing is diluting the actual contents of the series with bs.
Araki does hv a lot instances of bad writing though. A lot of the debunking done in this video is basically giving araki and the show the benefit of a doubt instead of concrete evidence
I always took it as Kars spend so long in space (even for a tens of thousands of years old being) that he went crazy when he realized he would never return.
i know it wont happen and it was confirmed not to happen by araki himself but imagine how cool it would be if Kars came back and got hit with a stand arrow
The only things Araki genuinely forgets are some abilities of a Stand, but then again, some abilities are only useful in rare situations, so of course they didn't get used constantly.
Araki totally forgot the powers of some stands by the time he gave them stats in the artbook. Emperor, the stand whose entire gimmick is being able to control bullets midflight to hit whatever Hol Horse wants, has Precision E for god's sake.
@@IncredibleMD I always thought the more bullets Hol Horse fired, the worse his bullet control became, because he can hit everything and anything with only one bullet, but when he spams bullets down the pipe, he couldn't stop from shooting himself.
I don't think there's a lot of thing Araki forgot, most of what people say can easily be explained like you showed, I usually find the answer myself but there's one thing I didn't understand : when the Stardust crusaders arrived in the city where DIO were hiding in, they needed somebody else to find it, but couldn't Joseph use hermit purple to make a map with the objective being DIO's manor ? like he did to find petrol (or coal tar i don't remember) maybe there's a subtility in this ability that I didn't get so please bring me the knowledge I need ! :D
Hermit Purple is basically worthless is the explanation honestly the coal tar map is like the one exception where it works like he wants it to and gives him a specific location. When he originally mentions it in part 3 he says his photography now *always* gives pictures of Dio presumably he only found that out when he was trying to get a picture of someone else. When he uses it on the TV it gives him vague and unhelpful information, telling him Kakyoin is a traitor when it's not actually Kakyoin. Same thing as the first happens in part 4, Joseph wants photos of Josuke but can only get Angelo to appear instead. This kinda ties in with the "if they were bringing joseph to find Otoishi why didn't they use him to find Kira?" thing with Otoishi his stand travels through powerlines, which Joseph was planning to interface with directly, which is of no benefit when looking for Kira.
HP can make a spiritual photograph of two things, people related to Joseph and inanimate objects that he wants to locate, but since DIO is attached to Jonathan it makes some "white noise", he is taking a picture of someone who he never met nor is part of his family making things hard to HP to locate. This same "white noise" is why he never trying to take a pic of Kira (other than the fact that he is senile) the Angelo pic was supposed to be a Josuke pic but Keicho was making Stand use left and right so he would just get blurry pics of strangers, there is a Hazamada pic but I don't remember if was Joseph or the SPW who took it
@@Pyroniusburn Joseph also used dirt to make a map that showed Mariah's exact position changing as she ran so that Joseph and Avdol could plan to corner her.
I think there is also a range thing on it where the further away the thing he is looking for is, the more vague his answer is, i might have made that up in my mind, but finding coal tar right around the corner isnt as hard as finding one person within an entire city.
dio has his own hermit purple that he can use to counter josephs so the closer they get the more dios purple hermit can negate joseph they showed this but i don't remember when
Finally, thank you man. I red Jojo exactly 4 times from part 1 to part 8 in the last six years, and finally someone who’s not influenced by memes. Arakai is a genius and he explains everything, and also everything is connected in every season, the main plot of destiny, the humanism, the strategy. Now due to this fucking anime that is more a meme than something serious everybody keep sayin’ shit about that
If you read the series surly you can answer this. I finished part 1 and 2 and starting 3. Will I see Smokey or or Lisa Lisa after this, I really likes those characters
The only thing that really bothers me is how they never talked about Wamuu instinctively attacking things that step into his shadow after the first time he does it. I guess it was used as a plot device to show how Kars is his master, but I really thought Joseph was gonna use that against him later, but he never did. Or I'm just dumb and missed it if he did
About Kars:
"Lastly, there are likely some of you out there that think Kars might come back to Earth at some point, but as the creator, I actually drew this with the intention of him never coming back again (Laughs). That's why, unless I can come up with a logical reason for him to come back, like maybe him developing a compass-like ability, or crashing down on some other civilization, that final scene will be his last one."

The stupidest one is Dio allegedly contradicticting himself when calling Hermit Purple the weakest stand, when he later claims that some other stand is the weakest one. I mean, do people really not understand that he is shit-talking Joseph?
@Godmaster correct
Compared to the other crusaders, DIO is correct. Literally a bunch of vines, and the Stand is used for utility than attack. The other Stands the Crusaders possess are much more powerful than Hermit Purple.
@Godmaster Later on Dio says that the "Survivor" stand is the weakest, and it is true! it is not even a "stand" because it is so simple.

“Araki forgot about Kars”
What do mean Araki forgot about him he’s floating through space as a hunk of rock how could he possibly get back
Don’t know how or why that’s a thing. Now if it’s science Kars can get back to earth’s gravitational pull. Not saying it’s possible, but I can’t compete with anime science, because Jotaro vs Josuke with healing abilities Jotaro somehow revived his grandpa.

While stand stats are bullshit for the most part, heaven's door has A in development potential.
also at the beginning, whenever he uses Heaven's Door he draws Pink Dark Boy on thin air with a pen.
I mean, even though that's less of a "he forgot" moment, it's still a moment of bad writing for a number of reasons.
1. Character's ability changes off-screen
2. Character's ability changes in a way that doesn't really affect the fights they appear in (HD is literally useless against Boy II Man, Highway Star, and Cheap Trick anyway, so speed is irrelevant)

Straizo shows to visibly age and even has that be his motivation for rejecting his humanity, yet people think Joseph aging is a plot hole
i think its a case of how quickly he aged compared to straizo and lisa lisa, which i just assumed the reason he aged faster then those 2 is b/c he just stop using it that much and both straizo and lisa lisa are dedicated hamon users who practice all the time so theyd see the anti aging part of hamon be more effective.

Can you address Kakyoin’s “ability” to harm people he made a painting of? Even though he’s clearly just using the painting to command Hierophant to attack Jotaro in that scene, people legitimately think that this is actually an ability that Araki forgot about.
And it's hilarious when people think that.

The reason for Joseph is pretty clear-cut, to be honest. He didn't keep up with his Hamon training. That, and he saw what constant Hamon training does to a person, and wanted to live and grow old with Suzi Q like a normal man would.

Every time Dio appears in part 6, it's before he even said that hermit purple was the weakest stand
And also Dio says it as an insult not as fact
Yeah, it was literally a mocking, I doubt DIO would go like "Joseph Joestar, your stand could be considered weak, even tho stands are not exactly sorted by their damage ratio, but rather how the user makes use of their abilities" no Jesus, DIO literally wanted to kill Joseph, not sit down and talk about stands with him.

In Part 3 Polnareff and Kakyoin are shrinking their stands to help Joseph, the reason that isn't used anymore is because it consumes a large amount of stand energy and the users needs to be calm
It happens again briefly in part 5 and part 8.

I think what people mean by "Araki forgot about Kars" is that Kars is never mentioned again, mostly because he was influential in the creation of the stone masks, thus being responsible for Dio becoming a vampire. However, though not directly mentioned, Joseph does mention the fight with Kars when Polnareff asks him about his prosthetic hand.

BECAUSE HE EVOLVES
You're completely right though. Shuckmeister is easily one of the biggest people online that kinda furthers that attitude. The dude rides high and mighty on his opinions.
@@YaMamasAss Often entirely wrong and illogical opinions which can be shut down in seconds...
IMO, Shuckmeister is one of the biggest problems in the JoJo community. His humor and stop motions are cool, but most of his content regarding the story is horrible, and spreads misinformation everywhere.
@@umcaraqualquer3640 His content when it comes to actual story content is terrible. Just legit bad. @@YaMamasAss True. He's the one who popularized most of the "Araki Forgot" shit we see nowadays.
Also, Steel Ball Run is, indeed, the best Part of JoJo, but for fuck's sake no one needs to hear that every single minute.
I think people overestimate how much audiences NEED to be spoon fed though. Visual storytelling needs to communicate things in SECONDS so the story doesnt slow down. Thats what makes jojo's a bit of a harder read because if you look away for a second sometimes you can miss something, or the way emphasis works in this series can be bonkers. Thats why people have the complaints that they do, though arguably a lot of them are very nitpicky and annoying/wrong.
2:55 this is proof that people are actually this dense and not everyone who says araki forgot aren't just joking I especially hate the guy at the bottom who says its LAZY to not expand on a tiny detail that I completely forgot about. The issue is once something turns into a joke, people start desperately looking for examples. The ring and Poco are perfect examples, theres no indication they need to be followed up on.

When Jotaro said "No stand power can revive a man." or something like that, It was before part 5 came out. Jotaro didn't knew Giorno's stand. The scene when Jotaro heals Joseph, he used DIO's Joestar blood and used Star Platinum to pump his heart.

A lot of these seem to just be people expecting things to happen that don’t.
A lot these misconceptions are literally explained either in the manga or the anime but "no, that has to be extremely important, if not, the author misused the potential". Thank you for this
Btw: I legit couldn't deal with Anne any longer, so I'm glad 'araki forgot' about her.

finally someone mentions the " hamon has no effect on stone" thing ...Even IF that were true william zeppeli clearly kept the frog hamon induced to not harm it while it transfers its punch. even in their own "unlogic" they would still be wrong.
From my perspective a lot of the araki forgot’s were less that araki forgot and more that he has a habit of sometimes loading one too many bullets in a Chekhov’s gun, a thing fulfils it’s purpose and people want more
Hi Hamon Beat, I really love your content and this series of videos. I've never had a problem with these supposed "Araki forgot" moments. However, there's one detail from Part 1 that you didn't mention that's always bugged me a bit. I've only watched the anime, so perhaps this misunderstanding stems from a dissimilarity between the manga and the DP adaptation:
After Jonathan, Speedwagon and Poco meet Zeppeli's fellow Hamon monks (Straizo, Dire, and Tonpetty), they are shown to be quite a distance from Dio's castle.
Blood Jets
Why do people care about plot holes in Part 1&2 when there’s Speedwagon?
Beauty lies in the eyes of the watcher
for the clackers thing, um wasn't the only reason he got them in the first place to one up ceaser?

I always assumed healing through Hamon is how Messina survived his encounter with the Pillar Men.
I always took it as Kars spend so long in space (even for a tens of thousands of years old being) that he went crazy when he realized he would never return.
the definition of word forgot
fans: forgot - did not meet our expectations
actual definition: forgot - failed to remember
i know it wont happen and it was confirmed not to happen by araki himself but imagine how cool it would be if Kars came back and got hit with a stand arrow
That would make it one of the most powerful stands in this series. Maybe even stronger than GER.
What would his stand do that he can't already do?
I don't think there's a lot of thing Araki forgot, most of what people say can easily be explained like you showed, I usually find the answer myself but there's one thing I didn't understand :
when the Stardust crusaders arrived in the city where DIO were hiding in, they needed somebody else to find it, but couldn't Joseph use hermit purple to make a map with the objective being DIO's manor ? like he did to find petrol (or coal tar i don't remember)
maybe there's a subtility in this ability that I didn't get so please bring me the knowledge I need ! :D
Hermit Purple is basically worthless is the explanation honestly
the coal tar map is like the one exception where it works like he wants it to and gives him a specific location.
When he originally mentions it in part 3 he says his photography now *always* gives pictures of Dio
presumably he only found that out when he was trying to get a picture of someone else.
When he uses it on the TV it gives him vague and unhelpful information, telling him Kakyoin is a traitor when it's not actually Kakyoin.
Same thing as the first happens in part 4, Joseph wants photos of Josuke but can only get Angelo to appear instead.
This kinda ties in with the "if they were bringing joseph to find Otoishi why didn't they use him to find Kira?" thing
with Otoishi his stand travels through powerlines, which Joseph was planning to interface with directly, which is of no benefit when looking for Kira.
Or I'm just dumb and missed it if he did
I really wanted to commend you for completely changing my view on Araki as a writer when I watched this series years ago
