Oh my goodness. I don't know where to begin 🤔. You're narration was mesmerising, it was like listening to someone read Swallows & Amazons. You have a wonderful way of narrating, your voice is so easy to listen to, just magical. You live in a beautiful part of the world. I've not seen much of Tazmania, truly beautiful. Piccolo is a lovely boat and I can hear you telling of many adventures from now on ⛵. Btw, it is always gin o'clock somewhere in the world, just go for it 🍹🍸
Oh my goodness, that’s made me blush! It was such a delightful story to tell, thank you so very much for watching. Swallows and Amazon’s definitely inspire our small boat adventures! The kiddos love reading the series too. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave feedback :)
She’s awesome! It’s so nice to have rationalised the fleet. The herons will take some time to be ready to sail, so having a dinghy that actually is ready to go is lovely! Such a sea worthy little boat too.
Looks like Tazzi gets some pretty good weather sometimes. Piccola looks very stable and fast. Those Sydney Raiders might be worried with your kinda speed. Low maintenance is the key. Hope you have many more days sailing her with the family.
Very sadly, she is for sale. There is a lot of work to do to finish both the herons and also repair the yacht’s deck and engine. So, sadly, as you do when you are a parent (of both wooden boats and kiddos) sometimes the things you love give way to supporting the others in your life! Que sera sera. Someone else will benefit from this situation, I’m sure!
Fantastic! What a delight.
Thank you so much for watching! She is a delight. A gorgeous little boat.
Great yacht. Thanks for taking us on the first journey.
Thanks for coming along! There will be plenty more :)
Beautiful boat. Beautiful location. Beautiful times. Thanks for sharing them.
It was! Two weekends in a row of perfection. We are so lucky to be so free!

So good- We have friends nearby - that is a gorgeous part of the world. Piccolo looks like a great addition to the fleet, well done!

Beautiful boat guys, she looks like a really stable family dinghy. Would she fare well on the sea coastal cruising?
I believe so - I can’t wait to try! She’s spent 40years cruising Tassie waters. I reckon she’s proven her seaworthiness!

Thanks! She’s surprisingly quick, Mat had told me but I hadn’t expected it to be so fast. We already have the next adventure planned!
So that initial innocent enquiry about the Springbank wasn't so innocuous after all! You had more wind on North West Bay than I had on the Huon.
Haha actually it was completely innocent at the time! I admired my friends boat. Then he found a lugger and offered piccolo to me the next weekend!
Damn you bought a plastic fantastic.. shame on you....... haha... Piccolo looks like a nice little boat to have fun with.
Haha!!! Don’t worry the timber still outweighs the plastic, 3:1. I’ve had fibreglass boats before, and this one is just an easy one :)
I see you put her on the market now , are you upgrading?

is piccolo still on the market? where did you buy your Springbank 15?
