Our pleasure! Old boats (or even modern “old” ones) are the best. So individual, they are alive and move and breathe differently to modern, mass production efforts.
We can see why you guys just keep growing as a group - such fabulous people! Yes, the Gannet is by far the best cruising dinghy I’ve sailed to date, for the purpose of performance, ease and fun - plus it’s big enough for gear for us all!
@@afloatinawoodenboat I am Looking forward to it as well sometime.Your boat really moves through the water nicely too. I will have to be at my best to keep up!
@@brucedyson-smith459 the Gannet is truly impressive. I don’t know if the fellows who came up told you but Luca and I managed to run down the Farr and Cygnet after a very delayed start and arrived at Peel island nearly 2 hours before the last of the other dinghies. It’s the first opportunity I’ve had to wind her up like that. She didn’t have a reef in and yet never once felt over powered. Saying that, there is no way she’s quicker than your boat with you at the helm.
Great Holly, can't wait to catch up on the next one, cheers Paul
Neither can I! It was such fun :)

You’re more than welcome to! Thanks for watching.
This was great. Fantasic seeing the kids out there sailing and clearly enjoying themselves.
They really were! Such a lovely trip.
Thank you for this video. Your video shows that "old boats" can be appreciate by young people.🙂

@@afloatinawoodenboat Well done, I haven’t yet heard all the stories from the trip yet so I will have to give the boys a ribbing.
@brucedyson-smith459 haha well there was so much to cover I am not surprised they left that one out.
Nice one. Looks like a great time was had by all.
Yes indeed! I think we all made indelible memories.
Awesome video Holly. It was terrific to meet you and the boys. We'll see you out on the water soon.
I am so glad that you enjoyed it. I hope we see you out there soon! Summer is nearly here…
Great video once again.
Thanks so much! Did you stick around for the outtakes at the end?
