Great job. The PVC pipe worked perfect. There is nothing more relaxing than wood working. Your ramp came out super. Thanks for showing us how to do it the right way.
That ramp is the business.. I sketched out a design and my boss gave me permission to laser cut it out of aluminium and build it.. I got it painted up and stuck grip tape stripes across the take off surface.. It looks sick..!
I didn't know about "kerfing(?)", What a great tip. Built mind today out of scrap lumber. 21" high, 42" long, 44" wide (so I don't miss the damn thing!). One handed carry for the win. Thanks for the inspiration and "how to".
When you told me you were a Carpenter I assumed you meant the brother and sister singing sensations... it made sense to me as birds suddenly appeared everytime you were near....
Bravo! Great how to breakdown video for those not so mechanically inclined 🙋♂ - subscribed! Based on my experience the bare wood has no grip, particularly once it gets a layer of dirt and debris on it. Have you tried putting carpet runners over it? What are your thoughts? Thanks!
I have thought of that, but once wet they are hard to dry. Grip tape with good adhesive backing will be the next upgrade. Thanks for the support my guy!! 🤘😎
Great video. I've seen other videos where they set the takeoff angle to 45 degrees so the car can reach maximum distance. is that what you did or is it angled for maximum height/carnage?!!
Tbh I did an even mix, but it's angled more for height for air control practice. The approach goes from about 30-50deg. It's all really personal taste. We used to launch big gaps on BMX with that similar setup.
I've been working on audio mixing a lot more since then. It's hard to find the right balance when vids are viewed on so many types of devices. Appreciate the input! 👍
Awesome ramp bro! I just finished my mega ramp, I'm so keen to get it out, I need a car trailer to carry it haha 😄
Dying to see it dude!!
Ramptastic! I can tell you're a Carpenter by the size of your Pencil....
It's just the angle, that's the real trick 😉
Awesome ramp, right on,no get new redcat v vigilante , besides you got maxx, awesome 😎 Ved
I do need to take this and the Xmaxx to the park to get some massive 8s launches I think 🤔 🔥

Cheers brother, glad I could be of service! I do need to get this one out to the park as soon as the sun pops out again 😁
