Guys... Just wanted to say thanks for all the great L322 videos. I have just purchased a 03 Td6 with a bundle full of faults and your videos have been invaluable. Saved me so much time and avoided the usual break something as you disassemble it. Regards Mark
Thank you for your video. Had the same problem. Two sensors had a wire problem. (Totally corroded inside the plastic casing. Random places). One had a paint bubbles. 3 out of 4 rear sensors were not working. You should uppload a video how to remove front bumper.
Great video, a common problem not mentioned is: If your sensors are going off erroneously check for burbling paint on the face of the sensor, scrape it off and if the problem goes away you just need to re-paint the sensor.
A great video and I now know how to tackle the job! Are the front and rear plugs into the module are identical other than colour? If so, as bart of the diagnosis, could the blue and white be swapped to see if the fault goes from the back to the front. If so, it is the wiring to the sensors or the sensors. If the fault stays at the back, it must be the module. Would this be correct?
+Neil McIntosh Hi - if they are the same then that would seem like a good fault finding method although i would be surprised if it was designed so you could swap them - too much risk of wrong assembly in the factory.
On my 2012 Ragan Rover sport HSE will the camera still work if one of the parking sensor as gone bad and isn't working? Or should my reverse camera still come on so you can see
does this apply to the 2006 Range rover HSE USA, i noticed the fuse box was different. I think all were ticking except one, hopefully it is a quick fix and i don't need to get into the wiring harness. Also do you know the fuse number for the power outlets (cigarette lighters in the front, glove box, rear and trunk) I blew the fuse and cant find a wiring diagram for the 2006.. Please please help tired of getting screwed at the dealer.
Other than the steering wheel being on the wrong side... I thoroughly enjoyed your video. No babble, just info. Cheers, tally-ho, and all that rubbish.
Hi I’ve got a freelancer 2 2009 both front and back parking sensors are not working .if you press the button it flashes 6 times but no sound any help would be appreciated thank you
had rear sensors firing off permenantly, was about to order new set of sensors. but after watching this vid thought id check the terminals on sensor ecu, found light corrosion on some of the rear sensor plug terminals, so cleaned them up and all ok. p.s the bolt to the rear of the fuse block is hidden behind a grey relay mounted by itself
Hi guys, great video, thanks. I was hoping you can steer me with a problem with the PDC on a 2010 RR Zermatt with GCC specs. The system is DEAD! I have checked the connections to what I think is the module from your video, it appears to be upside down to the one you showed. however, have a butchers around on the left side rear stowage I have discovered a set of 3 connectors that look remarkably like the PDC leads.......but nothing like a module. There are 2 screw studs looking like something should be mounted on them? I can email pics as required. HELP please!!
further to my earlyer post cleaning the plug only lasted one day. took vehicle to local lr garage found the two center sensors were irratic but when i swopped them to the outer positions(to see if the problem moved and or it was the wires) the system worked ok no faults GRRRR!! but fault returned later, did cont test and all wires checked out ok. removed ecu opened it up which is easy found various chips had corrosion on there pins so clean them all off and all has been ok for a week so far.
I have a 2007 Supercharged Range Rover. I want to disconnect the rear sensors all together by way of the fuse box method you showed in the video. Will there be an error message if I do this?
You could try and get your hand up and push them out - but the problem on my parking sensor issue was the wiring - not the sensors - and you can only tell this by removing the bumper. The bumper removal is not that hard - i agree it seems scary but once you have done it its no problem.
If all sensors are clicking that sort of good but if you still have an error i guess it could still be a sensor or wiring... as the clicking is only the emitting part - each sensor also needs to "listen"
All clicking as soon as it's in reverse then long beep. I'll try the module. Would u recommend the newer if I have the white module?? Thanks fir the help
Well ! I must have a different L322 to anyone else ! Despite managing to get my hand behind the wheel arch guard, getting my big fist up inside the metal girder that acts as the 'strength' of the bumper, is definitely a non-starter, especially the passenger side which has the washer bottles strapped inside the bumper stopping any access to the sensor! Not a happy bunny :-(
Great car, unacceptable windshield. Lines in the windshield is full utility, not luxury, at all. I can't believe people say this is a good car. Maybe they don't have good vision and the wires aren't in focus for them. If you don't know what I'm talking about, google image search 'range rover windshield wires'. unbelievable. I was two days away from buying one, until I test drove it. barf..
Hahaha are you talking about the "honeycomb" wires?? That's the windshield heater element, I've honestly never noticed mine and I look at every single gasket before I buy a car, my friend that has ADD pointed it out to me, and I was like what?? But it's honesty something you will get over, I rather have the heated windshield with the elements than a non-heated windshiekd.

Great tip - i can image the problem you describe is quite common !

Great video my l322 2008 beeps as per pressing the incar button neither front or back are working do you thing it’s the module? Thanks Aidan

Excellent tip. Just cured mine. One sensor was bubbling. Perhaps due to a stone chip?
what if all 8 are not ticking ?
The superceded sensor box will work on a 2003 HSE correct?
Great video. But how do I get to the ones in the front middle? Looks like I am going to have to completely remove the bumper. Is there a better way?
normally its a bumper off job... I will try and do a video for doing this over coming weeks
Hi does this work for a Freelander2 as when I put into reverse the beep is continuously and loud
Hi, is it same principle for removing front sensor on l320?
Can you change the outer front sensor on an l320 rr sport 2008 aswell? Without removing bumper?
Hi I’ve got a freelancer 2 2009 both front and back parking sensors are not working .if you press the button it flashes 6 times but no sound any help would be appreciated thank you
Awesome job on all your videos.... cheers mate!!!!

If the sensors all work but the pdc intermittently doesn't work what would you recommend?
Interesting - my guess is wiring issues / damaged wires / poor connections ?
Hi any chance you could do a tutorial on the discovery two td5 reverse sensor system please

does anyone know if there is a back up cam kit for a 53 plate vogue that will use the original screen not a seperate screen?
I have a 2007 Supercharged Range Rover. I want to disconnect the rear sensors all together by way of the fuse box method you showed in the video. Will there be an error message if I do this?
+CJ Svela Hi - i think if you remove the fuse you will be OK - or just remove the connections from the box.
Thanks so much i have parking sensors again woooohooooo :-)
I press the Parking button, but I don’t see a light on the button. What does this mean?
Keith Lawson hello Mate, mine is the same also, did you find an answer to your problem? If so, how did you fix it ? Thanks
Hi i am looking for my Evouqe 2014 chiana Navi and my car has only cd and radio.no Toch screen
pls help.thank
A very good informative video very useful..
thanks for the tip Dave
Hi, is there such a thing as a parking sensor speaker ? So you can hear the beeping, if it fails, where about is it For replacing? Thanks
is it same deal on the discovery 3
Is thete an easy way to remove the sensor in the rear? 2 of mine are not clicking and the bumper os hard to remove.
You could try and get your hand up and push them out - but the problem on my parking sensor issue was the wiring - not the sensors - and you can only tell this by removing the bumper. The bumper removal is not that hard - i agree it seems scary but once you have done it its no problem.
My parking system doesnt work. Is it possible to test the PDC to see if it is really broken or just something wrong with the cables?
Hi - if you cannot hear them "ticking" then yiu have a probkem - but you ar enot sure if its the sensor or the wire - normally it will be the sensor
+powerfuluklt
Globehouse events do ranger rover tech get paid well
when u remove the sensors u have to unscrew them by 90 degrees not forcing them out
All mine are not working and the switch on the dash does not come on
Hi check the fuse and the parking sensor control module - in the boot on the right hand side.
what is the part no. for this
good job , good explain , good video .
Very Nice !
if all sensors are clicking is this a PCM issue??
Most likely, yes.
Thanks fir the help
module did not repair the issue (sadface)
hi there great video helped a lot thank yo
thanks so much
