The mouse coordinates have always been there. Overall some pretty awesome changes, hopefully the improved plane engagement capabilities of AI make planes less of an easy mode they are rn.
On hard difficulty using planes had a disadvantage, it would not leave much loot to sell after conquering a city. And then one would run out of money sooner.
@@caracal3892 I think you really need to send the planes last minute in order to get most of the loot. We'll see a shift towards very lightweight and fast carriers I guess 🤔
I always thought it'd make sense to have both armour piercing and non-armour piercing missile variants (and perhaps some variation in speed/manoeuvrability).
overall change of the guns blocking each others sight makes the good ship design significantly more important. still even on hard there are ways to beat the game super easily
Precise radar data is what I want since the release. Just direction and range of contacts in numbers to properly mark them on the map without using That-Looks-About-Right technology.
That's the end of the world right? Biblical apocalypse of no sunlight and then the last of humanity huddles around the last reactor. It's been a long time but I thought the ending seemed solid, like the prequel to some future new earth story but focused on the horrific final war and not the after that war and the new world after. If I am completely misremembering then this will be an embarrassing comment lol But yeah wouldn't a sequel be after humans rebuild enough to have new wars?
the cordinates were in the game from the very begining. if you have used radio to catch some ships you know they sometimes tell cordinates and the direction they are going and the speed so you calculate and wait for them in their direction and send some ships for pure profit of blood money
Bruh now my campaign is ruined cuz I'm halfway thru and now my Sevastopol with 5 strike groups under it's belt travels at a blistering 14 km/h with a grand range of 900 km
It just feels much more bland. Skill ceiling got much lower as you will take damage at the same pace your enemy receives it no matter what you do. Combat is just a slugfest now.
@@sixstab2967 Luckily, the dev has made the previous version (1.15) available through Steam Beta, so I would recommend playing it like that. (That's what I do)
I think this game is heading to a "dev says no" place. It has already been released. Yet game changing features are being added that make your designs completelly useless. You already fight 1v3 in most battles, now every update nerfs you. Made yourself a pretty maneuverable ship? Dev says no! Here's a thruster nerf! Gurl efficiency is the same btw! Got a solid combo of weapons? Dev says no! Now they block eachoter! Had your trusty designs with you? Dev says no! They're now useless!
Stop your soy coping and start adapting, this is a game where you have fun going through hard times, not having a couple wunderwaffeln that take your straight to Khiva and then tank all nuclear missiles and strike groups

I think so too, having a selection of missiles with different warheads.

Dude! The editor now has a ghost showing the size of docking bays compared to your ship. That's awesome.
1:35 RIP Yamato gun sound.
the only thing i hate about this update getting back into HF, the sound was music to my ears

It would lose some of the arcade fun maybe?
I would love to see this game as more of a simulator and also a version with airships
Man i wish we could get proper ending, need to know what happened after arriving in khiva
If you play on hard difficulty the upside is that the game is so hard you rarely ever get to the end lol

FInally someone who is not just upset with the changes

thats a shame to hear, i only found out about the game today. is it still worth it to buy ?
What do you mean? Damage still seems to be positional.

When did this update come out?
You can opt into the beta patch now.
I think sometime late september.
