So i remapped the 1 series & i wish i had done this sooner! The drive was completely different, with the throttle response becoming almost instant. I understand its quite hard for me to show you the difference in power without putting on the dyno, so if you guys would like to see that then let me know in the comments section!

Het her on the dyno it's a must. I had my A4 avant remapped with a eco tune from 143bhp to 168bhp and I was amazed by the difference. Part of me wished I had gone for the 195bhp map now. But my mpg is hitting 62.7 on long runs.

I found this channel because I was buying a TT and researching them. The first video that gets uploaded after I find it is “I’m selling my TT”. Now he has a BMW which is what I replaced with my new TT. Talk about timing haha

i have a petrol 118i 2007, it’s engine hasn’t been touched what so ever , and a quad exhaust sounds crazy , i can’t imagine it tuned 😅, it’s de cat , and straight piped … leaks oil like crazy compared to stock but it’s the price to pay for a decent sounding car

my 120d is getting done monday im hoping for them flat spots to be gone low end, theyr not fast cars but when they boost theyr fun to drive, i keep busting my propshaft donut kicking the back end out😂 mines the older 163 bhp still puts a smile on my face but hoping for a better drive monday after the mapp
hello. Do you still got the car? Got a question. Is it possible to deactivate DSC while being in sport mode at the same time with the old 1 series? With my BMW 1 series (F21, 114i) it is no longer possible. Quiet a shame because my remap unlocks full power(1,32 bar max. with overboost, 195bhp) only in sport mode. In comfort and DSC deactivated drifting still is possible but much harder due to different map(comfort map only does 0,9bar at 5000rpm and about 0,5bar at 3300 rpm)

Would you please advice me if it is possible to fit body parts of an Audi RS3 into a Audi A3 2005 model
N47B20 power! Very good Diesel engine. Even BMW thinks that, hence the B47 is only a slight upgrade(some changes to fuel injection system and timing chain on the engines frontside). (B47 still is the 4 cylinder Diesel for BMWs current car line up) 233bhp is quiet impressive. Not too much but very close on the spectrums end, of the turbo potential. Would also keep an eye onto clutch behavior with that 30% torque increase added to the party. Do you still have the car in a working condition?

This is really interesting. What's the difference between this and taking it to a garage? Also, I've got an A class A200. It's a Diesel Auto. When I press on the accelerater. Takes half a second to accelerate. Would this improve the responsiveness? Thanks, love the channel.

Most car tunning houses do a 177hp -->> 210~220hp max

Well, its not that much... My octavia RS got +80hp and 120nm!! ( 220 & 350nm tuned is +300 and 470nm! that is sick! )
It’s a derv stage one tends to be stupidly insane esp for torque then it becomes harder as we go on
Mat what products do you use when you wash the car? Always looks super glossy after a clean
I use powermaxed shampoo and then normally autoglym aqua wax if it's quick wash

No you wont have issues with the clutch unless its already on the way out. The car was but did another 10k miles in it with the tune and it was on 118k miles

Quick question, will this decrease the longevity of the engine?
I want to do this to my '120d 2011 E82' but, as you probably know, the N47 has a common timing chain issue and I don't want the engine to explode 😂.

the timing chains a b*tch on the n47 engines but depending on your mileage and the way you drive the car there shouldn't be a problem. iv got a 118d 2007 had to rebuild the engine due to oil pump failure and blown head gasket. Was it worth the money? No, but it did teach me tonnes and with 120000 miles on the clock the timing chain wasn't overly stretched and the timing guides were in good health
not sure if this will be any help at this point but
The timing chain issue is mainly due to bad service history. BMW recommends you change out oil every 18k miles, which is ridiculous for that engine.
In reality if you want to keep your timing chain healthy you should be doing a little service every 6-10k miles.

Unless the file you can extract from the car can be put on that laptop and you can DIY remap it with appropriate software, its not a DIY remap

Dpf delete? I thought it was an instant mot fail I've asked a few places about having done they said they wouldnt touch it? Instant mot fail?
It's a visual check. So if it looks like you have one ie it's still there it's just hollowed out it will pass. Unless they can tap it with sommet to hear that it's hollow then it can fail but in the 120d it's in such a awkward place so get to so unlikely

on the f20 people get 200hp+ on the 1.6 petrol. its the same engine as in the 118i so it can handle more than stock power.
So, if the guys will be sending you the remapped software online why you'd have to pay £400 for this SelfTune device. They are doing the tuning anyways !!!
But what if I already have the car tuned and dpf turned off, but I'm not pleased with the map (its a 123d coupe 245hp) do you think its possible to do this?
You are probably best to bring it down to Mallory they can sort it.

Deffo dyno it be good to see the gains, you should remove the tune then dyno it and then reinstall the tune and run it again as it’s all about the base figure so you can measure the improvement!!
