I am in the process of emailimg u dr liao, for ur insight with my personal suffering after extremely detrimental ortho aged 15-17 when 8 healthy yeeth were removed, all front teeth moved backwards, my overbite doubling in width to a 1cm overnite now, the overcrowding not fully fixed, my tmj damaged and arthritis developing in my left side in particular. Additionally, my septum has deviated, I have a tongue which was never addressed by my orthodontist, my breathing is in the red zone even while awake, my throat and tongue and jaw is always sore, aching, restricted, I get infections in my ENT continually for months on end and have suffered deep depression since the removal of my braces aged 17 This doesnt even cover everything. I am finally mentally healthy enough, after years pf beimg suicidal, to go thru the dental care and have the apparatus to fix my 25 yrs long pain and problems but am struggling to find the best dentist/ortho/doctor as I am based in Perth Western Australia. Pls give me any insight u can that can help me find a suitable practitioner who can give me the best results possible. That would be beyond my wildest, happiest dreams 💛
