Yeah, Darkstalker’s always been that one villain that has like… a reason to be a villain, instead of just being an evil or jealous or power hungry fool. Like he was just a tool to his Queen back in his day, and his father hated him, and yeah the Darkstalker book is out anyone can read it. But he always retained some shred of his humanity. Even at the very end he was like “but I’m not *evil*, right?” So I feel like a Darkstalker that just gave in and decided, “you know what? Maybe I’ll be evil” would be… extremely interesting. Maybe I just have a problem with the ending to the tenth book, but I personally would’ve liked them to lean further into Darkstalker’s story. Either give him some sort of true redemption or let him lay to rest honestly (that way he’d never have to forget his friends. I was kind of sad that as Peacemaker he would have forgotten about his old friends), or let him see where his path of evil could truly take him. But it’s a “kids” book, so even though Glory can melt a dragons face off and the Nightwings and Hivewings can have slavery and Burn and Scarlet can exist, nah Darkstalker has to have some goofy ending. Idk, maybe I’m biased. Young Darkstalker is my favorite character, at least in his book before he starts going evil. I wonder what his life could have been like if he went down one of those good futures. Lot of unused potential in Darkstalker’s story
I love it! It was hilarious how it said “fix this shit” it was so funny! I also love how people draw Darkstalker is made of glitch and white when he talks to moon!!!
Holy moly, still even if it’s unfinished it’s absolutely phenomenal and you weren’t the only one who saw Darkstalker as this living corpse with flesh and bone exposed (real nightmare material). Excellent song choice too, loved that movie a lot when I was younger, I always pictured IceWings having a general Slavic (and Scandinavian) vibe to them so this just fits Darkstalker evermore. Even if you’re taking a massive step away from WoF content (because wow, some people are mind bogglingly rude). I support you in your endeavors! I can’t wait to see what you’ll do next be it OC, or trigun (which I have to watch but it’s so hard finding a service that’s not funimation or crunchy roll frowns), or hell even sh/tposts. I like and enjoy your art regardless if it’s dragons, wof, humans, whichever. Bit of long comment but hey what can ya do.

The concept of a darkstalker who has actually gone over the edge, and is unapologetically evil is a concept I want to explore.
