I had one cutting given to me and had to figure out if it was too hot or too cold where I put it. So far my plants are at the east window. She gets the morning light indirect. It’s growing. I don’t water my plants for two weeks. Only water if the soil is too dry. So far it’s growing another one right next to it. So I’m happy to see yours. Amazing.
Hi Shelly, thank you... I know I have been a way for a while... I've been good just working a full time job now .. plus all the garden stuff.. It can get crazy busy at times.. glad you stopped by!
@Diane Mumm Garden Videos yes, I get it! Good to see you. I was wondering about the big ficus you had for many years, lol. You still have it, that's amazing.
I have one of these from a cutting from maybe twenty years ago! But yours is beautiful! I will look at mine and start fertilizing it. I haven't done that and mine isn't as full as yours. Mine grows downward more like a hanging plant would do and it is in a more east by northeast window, though some sun does come in the window. I could move it to a better location maybe move it back from the window a few feet and see if it does better! Thanks for your video!
you could try and stake the plant... they are made to grow taller .. I am really surprised how well it has done... good luck.. and thanks for stopping by.. 😁
Beautiful plant! I’m curious if you know what it means when the tips of the leaves become brown and crunchy? I’m thinking it’s a humidity problem but I’m unsure cause this is my first begonia I’m trying to maintain in my home
thank you for sharing! "classic for a reason" = begonia corallina de lucerna
I have one and have had it more than 20 years. I’m so glad I found this video
Hi Cheryl, they seem easy to manage indoors.. I love it!
