@@oldninjarider he was supposed to use one or both of his brakes when he saw (from her blind spot by the way) what she was doing 15 seconds before she hit him. failing that because he feels his brake lever is toxic to him, he could use the horn conveniently supplied to him by the manufacturer so that he could alert the driver of an impending collision. he chose option 3, remain in her blind spot for 30 seconds in silence, hoping she has psychic powers to know he's there, and then rev-bomb his 300cc engine and push on through guaranteeing they will collide. this was his accident.
@@antimatterhorn She comes into the lane and didn't look as she moved over, you can see that in the vid. Yes, he didn't use his horn, he rev bombed and he could have slowed down. Owning an MT10, I'm not a fan of where Yamaha puts their horn buttons. Then again, we weren't there were we and fish-eyed lenses don't give us a true perception of the distances involved. Maybe we should have Dan Dan the Fireman do one of his reviews and blame the rider 100% for this?

correct me if im wrong but when you are lane splitting and riding on the side of a car you as a biker are responsible for the safety of yourself you dont have to lanesplit drivers have enough things to look out for they might not see you or recognize a bike in the middle of tens and tens of car headlights so keep it slow or drive like everybody else in the lane
Only legal in one state, and 90% of the video's the biker is speeding on top of that. That's why someone can check a mirror, start a lane change and the biker is right on them.

@@karl-egertdaskov6217 Not just one state anymore. Several states have now started to follow along and have legalized lane splitting, albeit at a much slower speed than California. As someone who lives in California, I definitely agree with you, I'm not saint. I technically split when its not necessarily safe to do so(at higher speeds), but its all about risk management. Most of the time, incidents that happen during lane filtering, are completely avoidable. Its not always the case, but a high percentage are. However, some people just don't pay attention AT ALL. As someone who rides and drives a lot of the time at night, I can tell you, if you are paying attention, you can definitely see bike lights in your mirror and know that they are in the middle of the lane. Everyone just needs to use their brains instead of their ego a bit more, riders and drivers included.

Angry D is that character in the movie that you are steered toward hating him. He produces content and when I say content it's in the terms of creating buzz. People are commenting about him left and right. His name is getting out there regardless. The clip in this video shows that he's not some heartless monster getting pissed all the time. He just waved her off because she was an elderly woman, he knows where the line is. He proceeded to ride "recklessly" afterwards because he's on a huge adrenaline high. Caution goes out the window when you have any "close call" because as a biker you know the risks and how little it takes for something to happen where you end up losing your life. Instead of berating some elderly woman he choose to release that anger through riding "recklessly".

I think on the first video they both dealt with it pretty well after abit of confrontation! Hats off to both of them. Woman for admitting she is in the wrong and the biker for not sticking his foot through her face!

Fuk him, he's a clown and created the problem by not letting her merge. Sure she cut him off a bit, but fighting a car over a lane on 2 wheels, is an idiot.
In fact, he would be faulted since he sped up and hit her, idiot!
She did cut him off, but he then went and put himself in the position to be killed.
