A similar thing happened to me this month, except much worse. Woman ran a red to turn left and hit me head on, I am still recovering. On the flip side, I sued the shit outta her and got myself a nice settlement check with quite a few zeros. It's a sad reality, motorcycles really aren't that dangerous. It's other people who are the danger. California seems to have an odd rule that only people with an IQ of 7 or lower are allowed to drive.
That was complete bullshit! It was unequivocally the old mans fault. You don't have the right of way to do whatever you want, when you want. How people cant grasp that is beyond me. The elderly need to have a driving competency test on at a minimum, yearly basis. Some people shouldn't be on the road!
Her vintage CB 650 survivor, is now toast because that old man, who shouldn't be driving anyway, didn't see her. The way she hit it, I'm surprised she's awake, let alone walking.
People in the UK have to pass a theory test and a hazard perception test before they can get a licence. These, together with an eyesight test, should become compulsory at the age of 50 and every 5 year years thereafter up until the age of 65 and then it should change to every 3 years.

it seems like the lady says "you couldn't have been going 25mph." and looking at the speedo at the start of the clip it looks like it says 48 or 49. so if the speed limit was 25 meaning he was going double over i think he was at fault.

Regarding the “Karen” in the first clip, he chases her down and we’re spared the usual “you almost killed me” and the frantic tapping of the helmet mounted GoPro. Do people really think the problem is with the car here? If you’re going to speed around suburban roads, you will far exceed the other driver’s capacity for anticipating your arrival. The right move is to start braking as soon as you see the car entering their intersection. That was only an issue because of the speed of the bike. And in case you don’t know your state’s laws, it’s illegal in many places to chase down the other driver. Guys, slow the phuque down and take responsibility for your own safety.
Once again a load of bikers that lack anticipation - Bubba Bear, you saw that woman coming out of the junction but you still continued at same speed, best thing to do is slow down and let it go! I ride too, a 2008 Suzuki M109. And there have been times that I've had a close call too. But I own it! Knowing I was was the one speeding. Tru Bowen, before you try and make her look stupid, take a look at your own riding. When you're in the left turn lane, you turn and stay in the same lane. You somehow managed to switch lanes halfway through a turn while doing 16mph on a ninja 450. I think the US should implement Learner plates just for you.

Bike looked a little fast, but the real problem was her cutting across the other lane rather than making a harder left into her lane, and it was made worse by her slow driving.
I was going over the limit for sure but my gearing is changed aggressively so my speedo is around 15+ my speed. Still speeding but she drove right in my lane.

Today I was riding home from work on my bike. I ride casual, not crazy, and I don't tailgate vehicles. Today I was behind a truck and it was about a 20 mile stretch of single lane highway with steady traffic flow and no intersections. Sunny day, temp is cool now so no bugs, the guy in the truck ahead of me sprays his windshield washers for a good 10 seconds and hoses me down. I wipe my helmet lens and shake my head, fucker sprays it again for a solid 20 seconds and starts shaking his head in the truck. Moral of the story, some people are just born to be total pieces of shit...

Had a buzzard fly out right in front of me yesterday. Hit it square in the ass w my face had managed to slow down from 70 to 50 in about half a second. All the time I had. Broke my nose. it seems like the lady says "you couldn't have been going 25mph." and looking at the speedo at the start of the clip it looks like it says 48 or 49. so if the speed limit was 25 meaning he was going double over i think he was at fault.

Regarding the “Karen” in the first clip, he chases her down and we’re spared the usual “you almost killed me” and the frantic tapping of the helmet mounted GoPro. Do people really think the problem is with the car here? If you’re going to speed around suburban roads, you will far exceed the other driver’s capacity for anticipating your arrival. The right move is to start braking as soon as you see the car entering their intersection. That was only an issue because of the speed of the bike. And in case you don’t know your state’s laws, it’s illegal in many places to chase down the other driver. Guys, slow the phuque down and take responsibility for your own safety.
Once again a load of bikers that lack anticipation - Bubba Bear, you saw that woman coming out of the junction but you still continued at same speed, best thing to do is slow down and let it go! Geena - I get why you’d be upset I’d be gutted too, but at junctions like that we are even more vulnerable, slow down when approaching a junction always, you were going quite a speed and unfortunately for us, idiot drivers can’t judge our speed. You somehow managed to switch lanes halfway through a turn while doing 16mph on a ninja 450. I think the US should implement Learner plates just for you.

The old man waited till she was less than 3 car lengths from where he was turning into before he went. at 40 miles an hour, they would need more than 5 car lengths to stop safely. The old man is 100% at fault for this

Today I was riding home from work on my bike. I ride casual, not crazy, and I don't tailgate vehicles. Today I was behind a truck and it was about a 20 mile stretch of single lane highway with steady traffic flow and no intersections. Sunny day, temp is cool now so no bugs, the guy in the truck ahead of me sprays his windshield washers for a good 10 seconds and hoses me down. I wipe my helmet lens and shake my head, fucker sprays it again for a solid 20 seconds and starts shaking his head in the truck. Moral of the story, some people are just born to be total pieces of shit...
