The way the rider handled that situation has all the telltale signs of being young and inexperienced with traffic. I don't think he'll live long if he's so unable to adapt defensively and rather speeds up to "create" a situation - just listen to the rev.
Instead he could've easily let off the gas and let the traffic flow despite the driver making a bad call - cause it will happen all the time out in the real world.

I hit a deer last year at the same speed. Killed it. Flew off. Broken finger, fractured wrist and snapped my ankle. Got a metal plate and 7 screws now. Unfortunately my gopro wasn't on when it happened. Got to ride in a helicopter though 😂

Legitimately pissed off or not, pinning your poor bike to the rev-limiter is doing exactly jack-shit to the offending cager. Almost every video I watch where a biker rev bombs a car for either cutting them off or making an unsafe lane change, etc, doesn't do a damn thing. The car just keeps right on drifting over, so it clearly doesn't work. IMHO, rev-bombing serves no purpose other than to cause unnecessary wear and tear on your engine and makes you look like more of tool than the cager.

Guy wasnt paying attention at in a merging lane so I went around him since there was a passing line. He started honking. After I pulled out he was on my ass and followed me to the next light so I flipped him off. He pulled a gun out and told me to pull over. His wife in the passenger seat was just looking straight ahead with a 1,000 mile stare. Looked like an abuse victim. Decided to just let him run his mouth. I had a gun too but would never brandish it. Its never worth endangering your life over someone with small man syndrome.
