Connections for those who wondered!
- They are, obviously, two fighters who ride on dragons
- They are the rightful heirs of the nations they live in (Berk and Leicester/Almyra), but are deemed unfit for the roles originally (Hiccup for being scrawny and clumsy, Claude for being an Outsider in Foddlan, and having Foddlan blood in Almyra)
- They both prefer diplomacy or tricks to direct confrontations, with Hiccup being prone to talking things out while Claude uses deception to avoid the brunt of the enemy force.
- They both lead a ragtag bunch of misfits who eventually free their people from oppressors (The Dragon Riders and the Golden Deer class)
- One of their companions is an axe-wielding and energetic girl who acts as their main love interest (Astrid and Hilda), while another is the arrogant son of an influential figure of their nation who constantly butt heads with them (Snotlout and Lorenz)
- After a main battle, both leave their most trusted friend (Toothless and Byleth) to hopefully reunite someday
If you wanna run deeper, they've both got great archery skills. Claude's obvious, but for Hiccup he invented a crossbow that can shoot multiple arrows at once in the tie-in comic and his shield can convert into a crossbow.
Given the fact that Byleth, spoilers . . .
. . . is Sothis, while also being Rhea's granddaughter/daughter (Three Houses is really fucking weird, even among other Fire Emblem games), Byleth also has dragon blood, meaning that both Hiccup and Claude's best friends are dragons.
@@jerichtandoc7789 WOW only now did I realize that.
Never really saw Hilda as any sort of love interest to Claude, just a close friend? But other than that I agree.
Can we also give Claude some points for mad charging Nemesis like a chad?
Wiz: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, the Dragon Trainer.
Boomstick: Claude von Reigan, the Golden Deer.
Wiz: Before the battle of the fists comes the battle of the mind. When peace is no option, it is brains that triumph over brawn.
Boomstick: I’d resent that, but you know what else these fantasy worlds have? Dragons. Freaking. Dragons. He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick!
Wiz: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!
Commissionner here
Brandon told me he was going for a majestic feel to this track, and tbh he absolutely nailed it. I can perfectly picture them racing in the skies listening to this.
Also let's not lie, these two would immediately become buds.
And here I was think Toothless and Hiccup would have a good fight against Lute and Ratha. This sounds good, too.
I just wanted to say thank you for commissioning this, I'm going to be thinking about the potential flight choreography for days now.
Oh yes.
Combatants? Good. Buddies? Even better! Let's do it!
Any brief descriptions of Claude’s abilities, powers, weapons, mounts, etc that you could possibly share with me? Cause I really would like to write a script for how I think the fight would go (mostly because HTTYD is my favourite movie and I really want to see it appear in DB one day) and I know everything about Hiccup, but I know absolutely nothing about Claude, and none of the websites of wikis have been helpful
For example: I want to know what his attacks are and how he performs them, but they’re just spurting statistical mumbo jumbo in my face like “can deal 200 damage with blah blah blah” but how? “Does he do it by firing a laser from his hand, hit them with a sword, what powers does the sword have” like I said I know absolutely nothing about Claude
Claude's advantages:
Professionally trained for years by military experts in battlefield tactics, various weapons, and wyvern riding, while Hiccup is mostly self-taught.
Rider and mount both have far more combat experience, especially against human warriors with and without draconic mounts.
Failnaught bow, infused with godlike power, eclipses all of Hiccup's and Toothless' offensive and defensive options for raw destructive power.
Skilled with bows, swords, and axes (including throwing axes), giving his arsenal more versatility than Hiccup's.
Hiccup and Toothless both have mobility limits if they're separated, while Claude and his wyvern can always move at their fastest.
Claude is far stronger, tougher, and consistently quicker to react than Hiccup, while also being the more capable strategist under pressure.
Hiccup's / Toothless' advantages:
Have felled bigger, more dangerous foes in single combat, while Claude has nearly always had an army and his peers fighting at his side.
Far greater team synergy, as Claude's wyvern is reliant on his direction whereas Toothless can fight independently.
Toothless is smarter, faster, more acrobatic, and far deadlier than Claude's wyvern, giving Toothless and Hiccup more battlefield control.
Firebolts are faster, deadlier and way more accurate than the kinds of projectiles Claude typically deals with.
Custom-made weapons enhanced with dragonic properties are more dangerous and unpredictable than Claude's arsenal, save Failnaught.
Claude's cunning stems mostly from knowing his opponent and how they think; harder to use that approach against someone he's never met.
Verdict?
Almost impossible to call, though Toothless is unquestionably the more capable mount and Claude is by far the better warrior.
As for who would win most often? I don't feel confident enough to make that call, they both have too many lopsided advantages against each other.
What do you mean too impossible to call, Claude stomps here no contests
Okay, Axton, you've said multiple times on other comments that claude stomps, but you haven't provided any evidence, stop spamming the same thing if you aren't willing to back it up
@@andrewzeshypikamander1120 I will post the same thing I posted in the replies of my comment.
Claude stomps. He’s is directly comparable to Dimitri and Edelgard who scale to Byleth who is able to dodge light based attacks and harmed someone who is able to tank hits from The Sword of the Creator which is said to be able split mountains in two AND he also took an attack from that same dude. He also has a weapon that is comparable to that sword, his bow Failnaught which allows him to use a special combat (which is a mechanic in game where it’s a powerful attack but makes the weapons break faster) called Fallen Star which makes it so he dodges all incoming attacks until his next turn which should be either a few minutes in battle or just until he attacks. Then, in Fire Emblem games, bows always deal increased damage to flying units so that should give him an edge against Toothless as he is an expert marksman.
He also has wind and light magic. His strongest wind magic creates a small tornado that deals extra damage to flying units and some of his light magic heals himself based on the amount of damage he deals. However, his Magic is limited and only has around 20 uses for his weaker Magic, and 3-5 uses for his stronger Magic. He also has a crest, which grants him special abilities. His crest is the Crest of Riegan, it may allow him to restore 30% of his health back when using any combat art. He’s also really smart and cunning, always coming up with different schemes to catch his opponent off guard and he’s a master tactician and leader. He is shown (as an enemy and ally) to use concoctions and Vulneraries which are basically potions in other games. The Vulneraries restore 10HP to him and the concoctions restore 20HP both have 3 uses each, so he has other ways to heal himself other than Magic and his crest. He’s also shown to be riding a white wyvern which should have the same movement and reaction speed as him.
Claude could have easily poisoned him he is a very is clever schemer.
Claude can also shoot arrows out of the air, and can perfectly manipulate and predict his opponent's movements so that he can fire and arrow straight up, and have it land perfectly where he needs it, when he needs it. Claude also loves using underhanded and indirect ways of warfare, such as poisons, sabotage, and other dirt tactics.
Obviously Hiccup and Toothless' most requested matchup is Hiro and Baymax, but it's nice to get tracks like these once in a while that explore different options, since the popular ones are more likely to get tracks on the actual vs shows.
Who the heck is Hiro and Baymax? I've never heard of them.
@@ShogunPlasma they’re from Big Hero 6
i honestly prefer this.
Oh wow, this is one of those matchups that make sense when you think about it. Both ride flying beasts into battle and both are rather clever though I would say Claude is more cunning. Both endeavour to break societal prejudices, Hiccup with the prejudice and fight against Dragons and Claude with Fodlan's prejudice against outsiders. Both while clever end up requiring help from a stronger friend with Astrid and Byleth respectively. Finally both are leaders. Though they have their differences, Hiccup is more of an inventor while Claude is a schemer. Hiccup's gadgets and Toothless aside uses a sword in melee while Claude (while he can use melee weapons) prefers to use a bow.
Toothless and Hiccup VS Samus and Ridley (DreamWorks VS Nintendo) Dragons of Island and Space
@@matthewbaddams2302 he literally just said an interesting idea. Stop being a jackass.
With Toothless' speed, Claude will have a hard time staying out of range. But he might be clever enough to find a work-around.
@@BlueVortecz Considering Toothless creates a sonic cone in some scenes and is often heard creating a sonic boom. His speed is nothing to sniff at, the fact Hiccup can withstand that is testament to his endurance.
Seriously Stoik's genes went somewhere
@@craytherlaygaming2852 thing is claude can dodge lightning and arguably light based attacks, lmao. Even at a low scaling he dodges meteors
I really would love to see this fight coming to life, only to see an insane areal performance by both fighters with tricks, misdirections etc. And this track give this fight the right amount of a regal feeling that I can see the fight in my mind.
When it comes down to it though, Claude seems to have all the advantages here that he needs to pull out a victory. He takes the stat trinity by a huge margin (mountain against city block according to VSBW; while also MHS against Supersonic speed in Claude's favour), he has quite an arsenal for nearly all situations (axes for close range, bows with Failnaught especially for long range, magic for offensive usage and healing properties) that Hiccup can come up with and he is better trained and to my knowledge also more experienced.
It seems like Hiccup shouldn't fear dragons, but he should start to fear the dear.
Honestly this one makes sense give they are both dragon riders, clever as hell, and archers. Tough to pick given Clyde is stronger, more experienced combatant, and possible the more clever of the two while Hiccup is smarter, his shield and swords giving him several good tricks against Clyde, and the coordination with Toothless giving him a massive edge against even the toughest of dragons. It is going to be close.
It's Claude
Also Claude stomps no cap
Never thought Id see the day when a Deer eats a dragon🤔
Because fuck this is onesided with or without dragons
I saw How to Train Your Dragon and instantly clicked. Overall a solid track with an adventurous vibe to it which fits both characters well.
HTTYD is one of my favorite animated movies and Fire Emblem is one of my favorite video game series, I saw this and clicked instantly
@@CommanderBly5052 Oh yeah, Three Houses. I forgot to mention I played that for several hours and Claudes pretty cool too. This is an awesome combo.
@@pedrolanderos8183 honestly, my favorite house leader is Dimitri but Claude is 2nd best house leader
@@CommanderBly5052 Claude's the one I like least of the 3 but he's still pretty good.
Honestly I can kind of see either side winning.
Both have trained somewhat for most of their lives, though I’d say Claude is the stronger of the two. However, I definitely say Toothless is way stronger than Claude’s wyvern, as well as the fact Hiccup and Toothless are partners instead of just master and beast.
I think it goes to Claude because he has RPG feats, and RPG feats are no joke.
To be fair, Hiccup and Toothless together have taken down the Green Death and overcome and 'controlled' the rogue Bewilderbeast. They're so in-tune with each other that they can come up with their own tactics on the fly (hehe) to best giants and Toothless' alpha mode could turn the tide in their favor should Claude's wyvern fall under its 'spell'. Meanwhile bow weapons are also more effective against flying units and from the attack animations, Claude's got some pretty fancy flying himself on his wyvern. Either way this would be so much fun to watch, especially with the flight choreography.
Also, it'd be funny if Toothless made quips and taunts against the wyvern and it had translation subtitles. And if Hiccup had the wyvern fall for the laser pointer light trick
@@ToraSpore I'd be funnier if they have Hiccup understanding what Toothless and Wyvern are saying
@@WhiteDarkness3113 Hiccup seems to understand what Toothless says, but thats generally because Toothless has the same level of intellect as a human and can himself mimic certain sounds.
Wait what
Here's how I would imagine the battle would go down. It would start as a high-flying chase in the sky. At some point Claude would hang upside down from his wyvern and shoot some arrows, Hiccup would mutter "showoff" to himself. Eventually, once closer to ground, Hiccup would tell Toothless to use his alpha dragon status to get Claude's wyvern to throw him off. This would seem like a disadvantage at first but Claude takes aim at Toothless's replacement tail and shoots him down. I think then Claude would win because he has more experience fighting on the ground
Oh my god if someone commission Archie Knuckles VS Juggernaut or Ness VS Frisk or even The Knight vs Ori I would be happy but this track is dope man Brandon Yates your a god at making death battle tracks
As a fan of 3 Houses and HTTYD. I love this so much. Claude is my 2nd favorite 3H character and I adore the HTTYD trilogy one of my favorite trilogies in all of animation. And whilst it ain’t my preferred for Hiccup and Toothless (that honor goes to Leo and Ratha from Monster Hunter Stories 2) I adore this track and whoever commissioned it I wanna give a high-five
I have always wondered why people haven't mentioned Monster Hunter Stories when bringing up HTTYD matchups.
My brother and I have been doing fanmade Death Battles ourselves for a while. He paired Hiccup up against Po from Kung Fu Panda while I paired him up against Jim from Trollhunters/Tales of Arcadia.
This wasn't any of the matchups we were expecting, but we're happy either way.
Interesting, I definitely admit there are a few fights for Hiccup that make sense, though there’s a pretty solid reason why Hiccup’s most popular matchup is Hiccup and Toothless VS Hiro and Baymax from Big Hero 6
But I can see the reasons for other matchups too like Hiccup VS Raya for example
-Both befriend Dragons with powers related to weather (Toothless can conduct lightning and Sisu can control rain and water)
-Both have swords with special gimmicks (Hiccup’s sword can light itself on fire and create explosions through dispensing flammable gas, Raya’s sword can extend into a bladed whip)
-Both have a habit of turning enemies into allies
-Both of their stories are about trust
And…
*Spoiler alert for both HTTYD3 and RATLD if you haven’t seen them*
-Both nearly died at the end of their stories (Hiccup let himself fall so that the Light Fury could save Toothless which then resulted in her saving both Hiccup and Toothless, and Raya gave Namaari her piece of the Dragon Gem and gave herself up to the Druun and got turned into stone, but then broke free thanks to Namaari putting the Dragon Gem back together and brought the water back which broke all of the people out of the stone)
There are probably more but those are the only ones I can think of right now
Considering that fact, you've just given me the idea of Po vs Bo Rai Cho
I could see these two chilling out and talking about how to best end racism
As weird as this matchup might seem, the final boss of Claude's route, Nemesis, would be a surprisingly good opponent for Mina Loveberry from Star vs the Forces of Evil, since they are both ancient and powerful warriors of humble origins (Nemesis was originally a bandit while Mina was originally a peasant), gained their power from an evil faction (Those who Slither in the Dark and Mewni under Solaria Butterfly) that intended to use them as powerful weapons of war against monstrous races, and ultimately return to become the final foe of the protagonists of their series.
We completed the trilogy of house leaders guys
YO WHAT! I was not expecting this matchup, this is actually amazing
Edit: Claude FTW and remember to always Fear the Dear
I'm hoping for Hiccup to take this. Granted, I don't know Fire Emblem whereas I have a personal connection to How To Train Your Dragon

Honestly, if you’re interested you should play Fire Emblem: Three Houses if you haven’t already. It’s a fun strategy game that’s good for beginners. If you want to see gameplay first, you can check out Joe Zieja’s playthrough (he’s the voice actor for Claude). He uploaded his streams of his gameplay to his RUclips channel.
@@CommanderBly5052 eh. Hiccup wins in my heart
@@MinecraftWorld1954 lol, I’m a HTTYD fan as well so it does hurt to see Hiccup and Toothless lose but Claude is still a cool character
@@CommanderBly5052 I believe so, but I just don't have any interest to check out Fire Emblem. It's the same way I feel about RWBY, where, yes, it might be good, but I'm not sold on it.
Hey Claude got a Match up finally!
And against Hiccup? Awesome
OOOOOOH I've been hoping this would get commissioned! Every since I heard about this it's been one of my most wanted matchups. I absolutely adore both characters, I can only imagine just how epic the fight as a whole would be. Constantly taking to the skies, trying to trap each other in their respective schemes and plans, and perhaps dialogue reflecting their similar ideologies. Could definitely see this being a fight starting with mutual respect rather than a fight to the death, hopefully some Vs. Show out there does it someday.
The track captures that sense of slowly increasing urgency that I'd imagine happening as they'd just keep constantly one-upping each other perfectly, and it does a phenomenal job at still maintaining the two characters' adventurous attitudes. Honestly kinda reminds me of Tempest Blitz in that regard, I love it!
This feels like a mix of 'heir to the skys' epicenes and the fun feeling of 'tempest blitz'
funny how that works out
Ay finally somebody commision how to train your dragon
Even though I Vastly prefer Hiccup and Toothless VS Hiro and Baymax, it still brings tears of joy to my eyes to see that How to Train your Dragon has finally gotten a commission
Edit: And you can bet your asses that I’ll be writing a script for this one, not today but sometime in the future
While I love all the characters involved as well as both franchises to death, I'd much rather the first Fire Emblem Death Battle to be Ike or Dimitri vs Gut, and for Hiccup and Toothless vs Hiro and Baymax.
This guy was a god damn prophet
Next Time:
"How To Train Your Big Hero" (Hiccup And Toothless vs. Hiro And Baymax) (DreamWorks vs. Disney)
Hiccup and Toothless VS Spyro and Sparx (Dreamworks VS Spyro The Dragon) Fire of Two Dragons
@@Alexander-gogolev2002 Toothless vs Drogon (How To Train Your Dragon vs Game Of Thrones) Game Of The Dragon
"Trained to the Max" (Hiccup and Toothless VS Hiro and Baymax) [How to Train your Dragon VS Big Hero 6]
I even made up my own lyrics for it...
*I'm quick witted cause I had a head-start in life*
*So you'll know I'll even beat you to the starting line*
*My fire's burning bright to hide away the Starry Light*
*So you'll see my Fury blacking out the Stars at Night*
*I started out a Zero, then became a Hero*
*Couldn't fight to save my life, now I'm up to here bro*
*I found my full potential, rescued from my peril*
*The past has come to haunt me but we'll look to future years, Oh!*
*I was born to fly*
*But I was trained to soar*
*So come along for the ride*
*And we'll win the war*
*I was built for your health*
*And you brought me alive*
*So together we'll help-*
*Out to save a life*
*Let's take this slow*
*It's time to go*
*Open your optics and let's hear you roar*
*Can't scare us off*
*We will not fall*
*I've got your back cause that's what friends are for*
*We'll fly so high*
*Don't go too low*
*Skim over seas and dodge round obstacles*
*We'll touch the sky*
*Look out below*
*I've never known a sight so beautiful*
*Don’t misunderstand*
*Why I’m lending a hand*
*Its not about the music*
*Its about the band*
*You put your trust in me*
*And you gave it meaning*
*So now I’m a friend*
*Not a killing machine*
Now I'm no musician by any means and I don't even know if these lyrics would even work together or whatever, but if you've heard the soundtrack for HTTYD and BH6 (specifically Immortals by Fall Out Boy and Where No-One Goes by John Powell) then you should get an idea for how this would be sung
But unfortunately I can't commission anything right now, but hey, it's good to have dreams right?
@@robertcurley8406 Just curious, can you think of any other HTTYD matchup that doesn’t hav Hiccup or Toothless?
Very fitting match that'll surely be draconic!
While I prefer Hiro Hamada and Baymax, I'm still glad that HTTYD gets a commissioned track.
Interesting matchup. Although I would definitely have expected Hiccup/Toothess VS Hiro/Baymax first, this works too I think.
Sounds itself definitely has that majestic and « medieval » sound to it to it, no heavy percutions or electric guitar, nothing like that. But it still definitely has a strong personality and atmosphere still. This is still a serious fight and both fighters aren’t fooling around here. The main melody is very catchy and pretty memorable although I must say that perhaps I would have enjoyed hearing some more noticeable bits from the HTTYD OST. But I guess maybe it would have made the battle seem biased ?
Ending (4:04-4:36) also stands out as a nice climax to the song. Very epic-sounding and takes the rest of the OST before cranking it up to 11. It just is a bit of a bummer that it’s so short IMO because it really is great.
Great work, as always.
Hiccup FTW
Claude, even limiting him to JUST three houses feats, absolutely takes this. He dodges lightning based attacks and sometimes light based attacks, and his wyvern does too. Not to mention his arrows are capable of harming people like Dimitri who can tank meteors and city level destructive magic- to the point dimitri has to defend against them or he would die/be severely injured. He can also hit people that have lightning/light dodging capabilities.
Another point, the alpha call WOULD NOT WORK on claude's wyvern- for it is a wyvern and not a dragon. Even if it did work, wyverns are weak to bows.
Although hiccup has plenty of experience and wit- claude also outshines him there too being a brilliant war strategist and having trained for all his life compared to hiccup who only got used to fighting alongside toothless as a teen.
Claude simply wins, although I love Hiccup and toothless and it breaks my heart.
On one hand, Claude has (I think) the edge when it comes to feats like strength and durability
On the other hand, Hiccup and Toothless are partners and work together to overcome obstacles while Claude’s Wyvern acts as a standard mount
I think both are pretty equal when it comes to tactics and smarts
Can’t really pick a definitive winner, but that’s what makes these kinds of matchups so interesting!
Don't forget Toothless has the ability of eco location and the power to turn Invisible and apparently channel lightning through his body to help turn Invisible( zapping any unfortunate person or beast without protection holding on to him)
Though he can fly on his own if hiccup gets knocked off of him, if his tail fin is damaged he won't be in the air for long
His Plasma Blasts that are definitely hotter than normal dragon fire but limited.
Don't forget The Power of "The Alpha" The ability to control all dragons. Though it is possible it won't work on his mount, I can imagine a scenario like this
"I told you that trick work on my mount"
"Oh I Know" I wasn't calling on your mount, I was calling on some friends" *Insert Theme as an Army of Dragons including the Deathsong, Typhomaramg and various other dragons hiccups helped in the past years.
@@Valgreen_0 would the power of the alpha work on Claude's mount and wouldn't calling other dragons be outside help?
It's close, but right now I will say hiccup. He's the main character of three movies, two TV shows, probably some terrible video games. Claude meanwhile is a protagonist (sometimes) for one games and is playable in a mobile. Hiccup weapons are made probably from gronckle iron which could be strong than sliver weapons. But hiccup true advantage is toothless. One on one I would say Claude would win, but against hiccup and toothless no. Toothless would destroyed or control Claude's dragon.
However it not bad for Claude. With Failnaught I think Claude could take Toothless out would two or three hit maybe even a one shot if he got a crit. Also Claude could heal with a elixir. However Claude biggest future advantage is Fire Emblem Warriors: Three hopes coming later this year and can't wait.
@@axelaliens153 Im not sure, I said. That because I don't know if Wyverns are dragons or Beasts that look like dragons.
Also not really, it's the same as aquamans and is considered an Ability though as not only can toothless call upon other dragons, but if he choose to he can assert (Force in the Red Deaths and Bewilderbeasts case) his will and control them like other alphas with the exception of Babys of course
So Some General Stuff:
Wyverns in FE are sometimes dragons and sometimes not, but in 3H they are not considered dragons. (They don't have the dragon weakness connected to being dragons)
The Alpha summoning is weird to consider, since it is kinda outside help but also kinda not? I think with stuff like the Dragonzord there's precedent to allow it, but I could see it being denied since it's asking wild animals to come in and help rather than something like Star's Summons.
Toothless' skills are almost certainly the big thing Hiccup is depending on here. From what it sounds like he has a large variety of skills that would be unusual for Claude to Deal with.
That said Claude's Arsenal is no slouch either. Failnaught is immensely powerful and with Fallen Star he can basically dodgetank his way past stuff like Alpha Reinforcement summons. Combine that with his access to Magic, including the Flying Effective Excalibur and the Magic Negating Silence, He could very easily one man army his way past Toothless. Plus Claude has good experience going up against beasts due to fighting off demonic beasts a lot while Toothless probably has minimal experience dealing with a Human with all of Claude's abilities.
Holy shit a HTTYD track, aahhhhhhhhh
I just love this.
This sounds like it’s combining the “Thunder” versions of the Fire Emblem: Three Houses battle songs mixed with HTTYD’s majestic sounding music and it’s amazing
Edit: anyway, if someone wants to commission any of these matchups I’m listing you can.
Nemesis vs Demise
(Fire Emblem vs Legend of Zelda)
Demise should take this. He was able to take on a Full Triforce Link in combat.
Astrid vs Ingrid
(HTTYD vs Fire Emblem)
Ingrid takes this but it’s closer than Hiccup vs Claude.
Hiccup & Toothless vs Hiro & Baymax
(HTTYD vs Big Hero 6)
Hiccup & Toothless wins this. They’ve taken in stronger opponents and should be faster.
Link vs Marth
(Legend of Zelda vs Fire Emblem)
Link should win, but depending of which Link you use it’s close. Full composite Link stomps, Skyward Sword Link should stomp as he has the full triforce, Ocarina of Time Link wins, Twilight Princess Link is pretty powerful and shout win, and BotW Link has a lot of hax that Marth can’t keep up with.
Revali vs Falco
(Legend of Zelda vs Star Fox)
Revali wins, he’s much better in combat and almost bested Link in combat and if given his divine beast, it should be enough to overpower Falco’s Arwing, but the nit’d be much closer.
The Traveler vs Tanjiro
(Genshin Impact vs Demon Slayer)
As of right now, Tanjiro wins but it most certainly could end up with Traveler overpowering and potentially stomping Tanjiro
Naofumi vs Hajime
(Shield Hero vs Arifureta)
Naofumi stomps hard. He’s faced a goddess that was able to merge multiple universes into one.
Naofumi vs Rimuru
(The Rising of the Shield Hero vs That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime)
Honestly, I think this ends up as a tie. Their abilities can’t harm each other.
Link vs Lucina
(Legend fo Zelda vs Fire Emblem)
Link wins. Ocarina of Time Link is just a better fighter, he’s faster, stronger, and possibly more durable, he beat Ganondorf, and he’s able to know Lucina’s strengths and weakness thanks to Navi
I'd say the Dragonborn is a better matchup aginst the Traveller, although Dovah stomps way harder than Tanjiro does
@@TheBenchLord I’ve actually never thought of the The Traveler vs Dragonborn, that’s an interesting matchup up

*And we'll win the war*
*I was built for your health*
*And you brought me alive*
*So together we'll help-*
*Out to save a life*
*Let's take this slow*
*It's time to go*
*Open your optics and let's hear you roar*
*Can't scare us off*
*We will not fall*
*I've got your back cause that's what friends are for*
*We'll fly so high*
*Don't go too low*
*Skim over seas and dodge round obstacles*
*We'll touch the sky*
*Look out below*
*I've never known a sight so beautiful*
*Don’t misunderstand*
*Why I’m lending a hand*
*Its not about the music*
*Its about the band*
*You put your trust in me*
*And you gave it meaning*
*So now I’m a friend*
*Not a killing machine*
Now I'm no musician by any means and I don't even know if these lyrics would even work together or whatever, but if you've heard the soundtrack for HTTYD and BH6 (specifically Immortals by Fall Out Boy and Where No-One Goes by John Powell) then you should get an idea for how this would be sung
But unfortunately I can't commission anything right now, but hey, it's good to have dreams right?
Yk if we give the FE characters all of their Hax Marth at least beats Link
Mostly because damage immunity and mind control are both things Link has no answer for
FINALLY CLAUDE YESSSSSSSS

Someone who knows Claude can do a bio for him
I know of claude's feats, which include:
Matching up against Byleth in three hopes, who held the power of sothis who could flood the entire world.
Hitting hard enough that dimitri, who had tanked city level magic, had to defend or he admits he would of at least been severely injured
Moving fast enough to dodge lightning and light based attacks
Defeating nemesis alongside byleth, who wielded the heroes relic capable enough to carve a mountain in half and was only defeated personally by Rhea
Military expertise due to being a prince and knowing battle and battle tactics for most of his life
Canonically having the highest accuracy with a bow, which makes him faster than light speed reaction times scaling to people like ignatz who can hit foes that dodge light
Being durable enough to tank hits from Byleth, Dimitri and Edelgard.
Much more experienced in terms of battle tactics and fighting dirty.
Played the entirety of fodland into his hands by teaming up with the empire in three hopes, eliminating the church and immediately putting his mind to reunifying his home country
He's also FAR more likely to go for a kill, being ruthless enough to throw away his army if it meant securing his home countries future
Overall, Claude just outstats both hiccup and tootheless in every way. His wyvern matches up to his speed, meaning it'd far outshine toothless. Although toothless and hiccup have the better teamwork- that's the only thing they take as claude is faster, stronger, smarter, more likely to go for a kill and overall would have no problem killing them in a single shot if they stood in the way of his goals.
My Original DEATH BATTLE idea Hiccup and Toothless the Defenders of Berk vs Artha and Beau the Dragon Booster and Gold Dragon of Legend. Dragon Rider vs Dragon Rider. Who is the better Rider with the better Dragon?
I’ll admit, I was hoping Brandon’s first HTTYD commission wouldn’t be Hiccup and Toothless vs Hiro and Baymax (Even if that matchup is great in and of itself)
Also what cues did you use? I was half expecting something from Test Drive or some sort of HTTYD track, but there isn't anything I can recognize.
I know Claude wins, but Hiccup FTW in my heart.
This is one of my most wanted series for Death Battle, the other two being Ninjago and Jurassic Park/Jurassic World
Dandelion Knightmare (Jean vs Meta Knight) [Genshin Impact vs Kirby]
Hiccup ftw
Would've personally preferred if it was Claude VS Balthier (Final Fantasy XII), but this track is a banger (as is typical) so i can forgive it!
Nice rooting Hiccup
Let’s go Claude is finally not left out no more
I think I'll give it to Claude giving his arsenal including anti aerial excalibur magic, fallen star ability and failinaught arrows being able to match the javelin of light (basically missiles) strength and speed
Huh Neat
Claude FTW
Interesting. Like the earlier Jenny metal sonic, it’s an interesting idea. Even if not the most likely it is interesting
so cool and well done
Hello, my friend. 😍💕 Thanks for sharing.👍 Have a nice day.🤗✨
Spear and fang vs hiccup and toothless
Oh, that's a very good one too
That's not gonna be a fight, that's gonna be an execution.
claude wins
Knuckles vs winter soldier
No offense, but that one doesn't even make sense
Was not expecting, Thor's mighty hammer to meet snotlouts paper jaw.
And definitely wasn't expecting The land of Dragons to meet FE
Can't say I dislike though
this is cool
Request: A Death Battle Track for Moon Knight Vs Azrael
Mmmm Dergns
Who wins this?
I don’t want to be rude or anything but…where’s mad laugh riot doe?
I could see Claude calling a time out on the fight just to compliment Hiccup on the ingenuity of his equipment (the crossbow/shield, fire sword, Toothless' artificial tail, etc.). He's the type to do that, either as a trick or out of genuine respect.
Hiccup would be confused, but flattered and Toothless would be having none of it, going straight back into the fight (assuming dragons are getting involved of course)
Dude, if the dragons DON'T get involved, we riot.
i imagine they would be.
Hiccup ftw
How powerful is Claude?
Claude: *goes upside down*
WTF?! HE IS POWERFUL NOW!!!
It certainly captures the feel of an epic aerial battle between two dragon riders. I love the slight Norse influence representing Hiccup and Toothless. Toward the end it wraps up signaling the battle's conclusion as both pairs are down to their final moves, and it's going to come down to the wire who wins.
P.S. With this track, all of the Three Houses Lords/Leads have gotten a track: Byleth, Dimitri, Edelgard, Rhea, and now Claude.
Now we need Yuri, Balthus, Constance, or Hapi to represent the Ashen Wolves
For people curious, the connections are fantasy world protagonists who are known for using their wits more than their offensive capabilities in order to lead their people to victory.
I think the fact they're both rulers and ride on dragons is kind of essential too...
This seems pretty close to me, but I'd have to go with Claude on this one. Failnaught is his ace in the hole, and Fallen Star allows him to avoid counterattacks right after using it, and Claude's crest gives him a small healing factor to keep him in the fight.
The best argument in Hiccup's favour is Toothless' insane speed, which Hiccup could use to force a melee.
@@BlueVortecz Yeah Toothless' feats are actually pretty nuts when you think about it. His speed combined with the destructive force of his fire blasts is enough to put him on at least equal footing imo.
@@duwangchew9902 True, but Claude is very clever and observant. It's likely he'd recognize Toothless' prosthetic tail and know destroying it would hinder his ability to fly. Claude is so skilled with a bow, he can shoot another arrow out of the air, and even perfectly predict his opponent's movements such as when he fired an arrow into the air for it to land right into his opponent at just the fight time. That opponent being Nemesis, who is said to hold enough power to destroy mountains. Claude is also on par with Edelgard, who herself defeated an opponent who could survive a city-leveling explosion.
@@BlueVortecz Claude can dodge lightning, and he can also keep up with other Hero Relic users like Dimitri and Edelgard
@@BlueVortecz the whistling that Toothless makes when he moves through the air is him reaching mach speeds.
Which... hiccup tanks fairly casually
Someone get Joe Zieja and Jay Baruchel!
I kinda feel like these guys would get along really well, and given that I like these characters quite a lot, well... This is an epic piece, and I quite hope these characters never have to fight one another. I can't help it, these guys are like best friends to me!
Harmony Reignited! (Twilight Sparkle VS Spyro) [My Little Pony VS Sony]
Hiccup and Toothless will reign supreme. Time to show them the Emblem of the Night Furies.
hiro and baymax are even better then that! 🙏👍
Dude I am so sorry to fuck with your dreams but: Claude stomps here.
Claude is smarter, a lot stronger(damages Nemisis(tanked a hit from SoC which blew entire mountain ranges up), a lot faster(assuming he can clock Byleth(who has dodged something the SoL) which he should be able to if he could fight AM Dimitri), and a hell of a lot more crafty.
So the Deer ran into the headlights and came out as expected: your car totaled and the deer fine
@@fate8718that’s fine. They win in my heart
@@MinecraftWorld1954 ye thats cool. Whatever works for you.
Its just some dumbass fictional scuffle
This fight could go either way actually
Tracks that I would want if I had money:
Heros of prophecy: Link vs Percy Jackson
Five nights and the ink machine: Michael Afton vs Henry Stein ( FNAF vs Batim)
Booming Roses: Boom Sonic vs Ruby Rose
Made to Protect: MegaMan vs Penny Polendina
Man and Machine: Iron Man vs Cyborg (Marvel vs DC comics)
Spinach Patties: Popeye vs SpongeBob SquarePants
The Classic Kings: Mickey Mouse vs Bugs Bunny
Devil's Tail: Issei vs Natsu (Highschool DXD vs Fairy Tail)
Spongebob SquarePants VS Sonic The Hedgehog (Nickelodeon VS Sega) Faster Patties
Edelgard VS Asgore (Fire Emblem VS Undertale) Empire & Kingdom
Popeye VS Sportacus. Spinach and Apple
Kirby VS Thanos (Nintendo VS Marvel) Star of Stones Infinity
Ballora VS Mettaton (FNAF VS Undertale) Show With Dance
@@Alexander-gogolev2002 Burning Knuckles Knuckles (Sega) vs Yang Xiao Long (RWBY)
Blades of Time Link (Legend of Zelda) vs The Prince (Prince of Persia)
So all three lords, Byleth and Rhea are in... Does anyone have any interesting matchup for Yuri??
Don't think so and I highly doubt this match will happen since Hiro and Baymax from Big Hero 6 is the most wanted for Hiccup and Toothless so we might have to look for a new match for Claude.
From what the comments say (and from my lack of Fire Emblem knowledge), this seems less of a "Could Hiccup defeat Claude's Wyvern" and more so a question of "Could Claude kill Toothless & Hiccup"?
Personally, I see the fight as:
Toothless kills Wyvern, Toothless & Hiccup barrage Claude until he's able to either kill Toothless or disable his flight. Then, Claude kills Hiccup, Claude then narrowly kills Toothless in a close quarters brawl.
Is it just me, or does this contain music from the How to Train Your Dragon fighter game when the first film came out?
I guess all we need now is a Yuri commission
I prefer Hiro & Baymax vs Hiccup & Toothless, but wow this sounds cool.
2 Tracks today. And both of them are absolutley amazing. Brandon is a genius who needs more recognition
Gonna have to give it to Claus ranged beats melee every single time and while both are very intelligent their strengths lie in two very different places Hiccup is very much an inventor while Claus is a planner and Hiccup loses repeatedly to planners like Vigo and Johan
Claude ftw
Hiccup vs. Sokka. warrior chiefs who embrace intelligence over raw strength.
(no Toothless obviously)
Me, an intellectual: Claude vs Peridot
I think this fight animated would be incredibly cool with amazing flight maneuvers and both combatants trying to figure out a strategies to outplay one another
Not bad I wasn't expecting this
Lmao I was playing Three Houses right as I saw this
Oh nooooooo, my Three Houses bias is once again kicking in. Honestly this is a pretty cool match-up because of what both franchises mean to me and while I'd be rooting for Claude, Hiccup and Toothless getting horribly critted just does not sit right for me.
Hey mr yates can do make neo vs laval (the matrix vs legends of chima) track
Brook vs lord raptor
I don’t know who wins
Claude stomps if you were wondering
Thanks to SoL speed scaling and him being able to damage someone who shrugged off a blow that blew up a mountain range
Hiccup and Toothless' best feat is around city and lightning timing
Connections between them
Fantasy world protagonists who are known for using their wits rather than their offensive capabilities to lead their people in battle.
@@CeHee123 they’re also dragon riders
Now all three house leaders can -die- fight in death battle
Intresting idea but never understood connections to this
Edelgard Wins
Dimitri wins
Claude Wins
Lol
But Rhea/Byleth Die
@@AzureAreadbhar Honestly a solid majority of the comment is a joke.
