well if you really think about it their world got invaded by some alien dragon claiming to be god and then created a bunch of dragons to be her children and decided to now rule humanity, their people instead worshiped ancestors and so they were against the church, sure the dragons helped their development but that doesn't justify servitude, and sure they created weapons of mass destruction but considering this alien dragon basically destroyed the very world by flooding it one cannot say their fear was entirely unfounded, it was the alien dragon who invaded this world in the first place, nobody ordered it to come here and give science/magic to humans so if it wants to claim godhood and not have people fight back then onus of diplomacy is on the alien dragon not on the humans, who can blame then for becoming extremists after being forced to hide underground for centuries and then being in disguise for even longer, specially while watching their own race being tainted by the blood of their enemies and reduced to primitive fools who worship the very thing that enslave them, I would say that their reaction was quite reasonable.
@@colorpg152 I love Edelgard too. However, it doesn’t justify Thales being a total asshole eagerly manipulating the situation to seize power. He manipulated Nemesis and the Ten. He embodies the spirit and the charisma of a leader capable of conquering an entire continent and doing it for a sense of nationalism and feeling justified about it.
@@SaintBoot As far as I know, this lyrics are made up by FJ, but they represent Nemesis very well. HAMMER!!!! Finally someone did this and you totally nailed the dramatic and needed preassure in the voice - instant like ! I will watch this more often
Getting a Fire Emblem track 2 times already in the top 20 brings me joy, especially when covered by such excellence.
Excellent work again, both of you. Fantastic passion and technical delivery.
The dynamic duo is back!
I want my head-canon to be this version is Nemesis' rally while the cover from 3 years ago was the rally from Claude against Nemesis.
Love you FJ and love you Joe. You guys kill it everytime.
The first few lines gave me chills. This song never gets old
I love the part where he says 'I am come!' and comes all over the place.
HELL, how were you able to make an already fire cover so much more powerful?! I love it so fucking much. It really is overflowing with a feeling of sheer force. I am blown away!!
2:39 He is WHAT
Finally a new God-shatteringly rendition of this materpiece!
This was an awesome cover the first time and this recover is just as good
Such an epic song. You both killed it. Everything here is next level. Just saw that Joe isn't a classically trained singer. That's crazy given how good this is. Could have fooled me.
Really enjoyed it, with Claude's voice actor too?
Why did I never found about this
Holy shit this was amazing! Ngl, this is making me wanna play Fire Emblem as someone who's never played the games before
This English cover was powerful enough to carry a yacht! 💪🛥
Ok, Omega Force and Intelligent Systems! It’s time you finally give us the Church Story DLC for Three Hopes so we can have a Nemesis final boss and can shove this or the original cover into the battle!
Do it, you Dastards! WE DEMAND IT!
I write off 90% of these covers. You made that really damn difficult lol. This isn't bad at all. Good lord.
I can’t believe that to this day the voice actors are keeping my hype for this game alive, my friends and I still talk about Three Houses all the time. Joe Zieja was literally made for the role of Claude, this fandom wouldn’t be what it is without him
brutaaallllllll i love this song and the fact that Joe did the vocals makes it twice more brutal
I'm about to Edelgard the RUclips algorithm for waiting 9 months to let me know this exists.
they are back! and this time they are better than ever!
Man, the opera level vocals in this song are BADASS! I feel like a knight in the crusades listening to this!
That is one powerful voice, I didn't think I'd like an english version, but I do :D
Lyrics are straight fire dude, I got some mad chills.
The original was already fantastic, but now I can resonate with it in a completely new way? That's one hell of an upgrade!
honestly i love so many metal versions of songs you guys do but this has a special place in my heart, i took a year break from 3 houses when it came out and this song was one of the things that got me to finally beat the game when i heard the Japanese version so its cool to know the English version
So awesome!!! So impressed with Joe's voice and lyrics (and of course, the guitar performance was amazing, as always :) )
The first collab was amazing already.
This one? The "encore"? A true God Shattering Star of an encore, thats what i tell ya.
Claude singing motivating the entire army
AAAAAAAAAA, THIS IS SO GOOD. I love your guy's vibe too. What a great collab here!
And this is the VILLAIN'S rally cry?
Maybe being evil is more fun
"I am come."
...
Beautiful
I beat Three Houses for the first time back in July (Verdant Wind, of course). I listened to Jules and Joe's cover of GSS for the first time back when it came out, but I purposefully avoided listening to the original until I played the game myself, and it felt so satisfying to hear it after so long. I watched Joe's playthrough afterwards as well, and it was a blast. Seeing this in my sub box was a pleasant surprise!
Absolutely amazing! It’s so intense, I use it for workouts. It’s hard _not_ to feel motivated and give one last push listening to this.
