- U.S. officials have identified a deceased Alberta woman as notorious American fugitive Sharon Kinne, who escaped a Mexican prison in 1969, where she serving time for shooting and killing a man during a robbery. Kinne, who was also wanted for murder in Missouri, evaded capture for 50 years, settling in Taber, Alta.
