People keep saying that but I don’t find it to be true. I can play for at least 2-3 hrs on indie games and an hour and a half on AAA games. That’s a good amount of time for a handheld. The one player cuts that time by 25%
I bought both and altough the legion go has a very nice finish I used my X1 a lot more so returned the legion go. Only thing I didn't like about the X1 is the controllers are so light they feel cheap even thought they arent and mine didn't come with the hall effect sticks so I ordered those separately and I feel like those feel a little better, like sticks a little tighter, and buttons more clicks responsive. I feel like there's a slight difference but idk could just be newer controllers even though my older ones are only 2 weeks old. Over all I'm very happy with my X1 and glad I got a legion go also to compared both and make a real decision and not feel bad.
Controllers are much lighter than legion because there’s no battery inside so I get what you’re saying. They don’t really feel cheap in the materials, but the weight throws you off

The sticks too don't really have a lot of tension Sophia used to like an Xbox controller they're going to feel really light. But the new hall effect ones that I ordered do you feel a lot better than the ones that I came with I don't think there's really a difference but everything just feels more crisp and tight and the sticks feel like they do have slightly more tension than the sticks that it came with

I gotta ask if the fans ever get kinda up there in noise? I know fans running at full speed will produce a little higher pitch noise but just wanna now if it's like louder than say the legion go was or for me I'd compare to a switch since that's my last handheld.
Got a Legion Go with a folding bluetooth keyboard with touchpad. The keyboard fits into the Go's case for when I need it. The two combined are cheaper than the X1 and the Go is still way more portable. Only thing the Go needs is a better battery.
I was unsure about my decision since I already have an OG Ally, but this Legion Go has been the best purchase I've made in a long time. This thing is amazing. Selling my Ally, no regerts.

got the legion go after hesitating a lot between those two, at the end of the day the price made the difference for me but i'm not gonna lie the x1's bigger screen and most importantly it's attachable keyboard were really interesting. I Hope the next gen of handhelds will take notes from what onexplayer did with the x1 !

Love the review have both devices, one thing that the Legion Go could really use is 32GB of RAM 16 just isn't enough for these device, picked out the top spec'd X1 and really like the 64GB of RAM, since I use it for work and play it's worth the price.

I don't understand why the x1 has removable joysticks, just to become a tablet!? They should really put batteries on them, with the weight the x1 has, would be a plus!

Also the 32 GB on the x1 and 24 on ally x seems to don't improve all that much FPS in games, but should help on games boot, because with 32 you can provide the Max 6 to gpu and all games depending ON big memory should boot fine, without adjusts needed, right?
@@joaocspcosta yes it works as a battery and transmitter for the controllers. With 32gb RAM you can set more than 6 to VRAM; I have 10gb on my X1 It helps with stability in graphical games not really more max FPS
You know I would love to own an Ayaneo Onexplayer or Aokzoe, but the repair support is terrible from what I heard. If any of those devices were available at Best Buy, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one 32GB RAM, which is a great start for me. I've seen Best Buy selling the Ayaeno Kun, but it's a 16GB RAM. If they ever get the 32GB version, I will sell my legion go and rog ally x to buy it. Such devices will be a life changer.
Repairs are definitely questionable if you're outside of China. But in my experience support will usually send you parts for free or low cost if you are up to repair it yourself.
Ally X has slightly better performance but imo the Legion go is slightly more ergonomic with the larger grip. If you live near a Best Buy you should go get hands on with them. There’s usually a display unit you can hold.

Definitely good enough for productivity and general computer tasks. I’ve typed full documents using the keyboard with no issues. The trackpad isn’t as good as a real laptop but it’s definitely usable and gets the job done.

Legion maybe for PC. But not in the sales market and one of the most expensive. To me it still lacks what a Switch or Razer Edge 5G or G Cloud can do and offer.
Brother how’s comes you haven’t compared the onexplayerx1 vs rog ally x. These are the two best gaming handhelds. Legion go is not great it loses at every performance test you do so not sure why we are comparing the legion to onexplayer
Limiting the Legion Go to 4C /8T in the BIOS will fix most power issues AND give it more headroom in both power and temps for the GPU side of things. Also disabling the CPU Turbo boost. Fact of the matter is that these CPUs are so strong, that at no point will they ever "CPU limit" the Radeon 780M's performance.

Yes yes yes 100 percent agree it is very costly BUT as a person who is planing on switching from the legion go to the 1x player x1 as there MAIN pc it's a lot better for storage ram and well size yes not much better performance yes more costly but for a one and done device it's 75 percent worth it

This was my outlook and replaced my legion GO with a asus g14 rtx 4090. Wish i didn't. Laptops for gaming is stupid. Can't sit on couch or lie in bed playing games which is what i wanted it for. To sit at a desk playing games use my desktop. Expensive mistake for me. People that compare these to laptops clearly haven't actually owned both to know the target audience. No way is a gaming laptop on the go advice
Time for onexplayer to hang it up. This design is garbage 😂. Im still salty after i bought the 1S and it had compatibility issues due to the intel chip. Then i check back and theyre doing this
I like the oneXplayer but I purposely got out a rid of my OneXplayer 2 pro because the company never update the device like how they're supposed to roll it out and update it like their software and the drivers like they suck on that and they suck on communication when you try to get in contact with them about that problem so that's why I got rid of it because it wasn't worth it and I only had it for like 3 or 2 months then I sold it so I stick with my Legion go because I guess it was my best bet....... Oh yeah and I left out like if you try to put different drivers on it not the drivers that they have set up or do anything like any workarounds or whatever like any new scripts to fix the situation with the onexplayer any oneXplayer devices then it starts messing up it starts tripping out it starts acting up so yeah it's just not worth it
Not sure what issue you were having with your device, but the drivers come straight from AMD and I’ve had no issue updating the drivers across multiple AMD updates. The device may have been defective because you shouldn’t need any scripts or custom drivers for the graphics.

It’s definitely a “unique” design.
I think it’s good considering it’s a 3-in-1 device. If it was just a handheld that’d be a different story. 😅

I like the oneXplayer but I purposely got out a rid of my OneXplayer 2 pro because the company never update the device like how they're supposed to roll it out and update it like their software and the drivers like they suck on that and they suck on communication when you try to get in contact with them about that problem so that's why I got rid of it because it wasn't worth it and I only had it for like 3 or 2 months then I sold it so I stick with my Legion go because I guess it was my best bet....... Oh yeah and I left out like if you try to put different drivers on it not the drivers that they have set up or do anything like any workarounds or whatever like any new scripts to fix the situation with the onexplayer any oneXplayer devices then it starts messing up it starts tripping out it starts acting up so yeah it's just not worth it
Not sure what issue you were having with your device, but the drivers come straight from AMD and I’ve had no issue updating the drivers across multiple AMD updates.
The device may have been defective because you shouldn’t need any scripts or custom drivers for the graphics.
@@BarelyAverageDude My boys attack and me and him were trying to fix things on it to make it run better without depending on one X player company and All the crap that they have on their websites are not good but maybe because that's a new device and you're downloading new drivers stuff like that and they're fixing them now finally is because they're trying to get rid of those devices that you guys have purchasing from them That's probably why hence the whole reason why you're not having that problem but I did before in the past with the oneXplayer 2 pro
@@BarelyAverageDude and also as far as it goes with like the scripts and stuff I just needed those for like customizing the performance in the TDP and all that stuff so that's why I did that purposely but also like I said because they just didn't have nothing updated like they were slacking on all of that but of course they're going to go ahead like I said before start updating all of their stuff due to the fact that they're trying to sell these new devices they're releasing All these companies always do that

@@BarelyAverageDude I mean I was interested in getting that device but I got to stop buying these type of handheld PCs and stuff I sold a bunch of them already and I just stick with my legion go and my mini PC from Miniforum but yeah your lucky you got that device that device is awesome it seems great 👍..... But I say my next investment will be at EGPU I'm going to build one myself with oculink and thunderbolt 4 I'll probably make a video on that sooner or later when I get everything all together
