Great points about strength training, I’ve been doing bodybuilding splits for over 5 years now, got pretty wham but this is something that I’ve cut out now in my army journey, don’t want to be that big bloke who looks the part but can’t keep up with the pack. Besides being more athletic has way more perks than being a 16 stone bodybuilder I think, I’m weighing at 14 n half stone and height 6ft 1, I’m being told by people I’d be to big and the tank regiment only recruit people under 6ft, my recruiter says my height is fine and there’s bigger blokes have gone on to become tank crewman, I don’t suppose you can shine any light onto this, have you seen many tank crewman over 6ft ?
Hello mate, thanks I appreciate your support 👍🏻 Erm yeah I have made a few videos with generic fitness plans on them, you will be able to screenshot. I haven’t started doing individual plans yet but it is something I will be doing this year.
I've done 10 minutes jogging on the treadmill without stopping if I can do that is it likely I would do well on the bleep test for the regular infantry in the assessment center ?
No mate I’ve been struggggling on the fitness journey for months, the best way to get a better stamina level for me was slow running. 12 min mile for 1 hour is what I’m doing currently and I get around 6.6 on the beep test but still improving how ever If you run 10 minutes and cover about 2-2.5km on a treadmill you might actually be alright
Apologise from the colour being a bit out. not sure what has happened there 🤣
Great video man. Please keep it the great content. The mic sounds 👌🏻

Not really has much experience with tankies but I’m guessing your height won’t be a problem

Running mate, I spoke about it in this video 😄
Would you suggest taking creatine in preparation for basic training?
No not really mate, creatine is a great supplement but, it is not gong to give you a drastic increase in fitness or strength.

Depends how fast you are jogging ?
