I've seen the legacy of the beast concert twice so far. First time in 2018 in London (O2) and this week in Belgrade. Addig the extra songs from the newest album was a great choice, but it came with a price. Some classics like 2 minutes from midnight and where eagles dare were sacrificed and not played. All in all,it was a great show and I would highly recommend it to all the Maiden fans
this is the best paced set they've done in forever...opening with the senjitsu stuff accommodates properly warming up bruce's voice so he's not hitting the high notes right out of the gate, tiring him out before they even get halfway through the set. this is the best he's sounded live in ages.
I agree 1000%. Although Bruce is still amazing, you can't ignore the fact that he's a man in his 60's who recovered from oral cancer. I saw him on the last tour and I felt that he struggled with Aces High and Where Eagles Dare right out of the gate. But by the time 2 Minutes to Midnight came up, he was fully warmed up and in a groove and was tremendous for the entire rest of the show. Moving Aces High to the end of the setlist has made a huge difference and you can see it in the most recent live videos.

Seeing them now would definitely be a dream come true but I wish I had been able to see them in their prime. Saw Iron Maiden in El Paso, Texas, USA last night. Killer show! It was the best Maiden concert I have seen. Bruce is amazing. He hit every note and his use of theatrics was excellent. The band rocked and the Eddies and sets were epic. So glad I got to see them. It was my first time since the late 1990s. This is a DO NOT MISS tour is you are fan!

I've seen maiden numerous times over the past 30 years and each time they have always been amazing, and although "AMOLAD" played in full was a bit of a struggle as an audience member, I will always have fond memories of them playing "Brighter than a thousand sun's" and " The longest day" live. Love everything about this tour! The setlist, the Eddie's and Bruce absolutely sounds amazing! I will be on the floor at the next to last show in Greensboro, NC in the states. I cannot wait! UP THE IRONS 🤘
Saw them in Bucharest a week ago..it was epic❤ I've been a trooper for 26years, saw them over 10times and each time they surprise me, I always cry when it's over because I'm afraid I am not gonna see them again.🥺 Best guys, best band!🤘❤
Can’t wait, will be seeing them for the third time in my life, in Toronto in October and bringing my kids! I’ve never heard The Clansman live, hearing thousands of fans screaming “Freedom!” will be absolutely incredible
I think it was very much expected that they'll open the show with the Senjutsu songs. Bruce even hinted at that in an interview. Sign of the Cross was also a pretty obvious choice since it was a centerpiece of the show in 2018-19.
I'm going to Download in 2 weeks and can't wait for the Senjutsu songs. I saw the LotB tour twice in 2018 and again in 2019, and the setlist and stage show were amazing. This Japanese realm is a great addition and the songs off the new album look like they'll be epic
I am very happy I stumbled across this video! My husband and I have tickets to see them in Northern California in September and I am so excited! We saw them three years ago on the Legacy of the Beast tour and loved it! I also was fortunate enough to have seen the original Powerslave tour and I saw them when they redid that tour many years later! Their energy and power is as great today as it was back in the day! I am not as familiar with the iron maiden albums after somewhere in time and will update myself on their new music! Thank you for giving me a heads up!
Just saw them at Donnington UK. Insane. Bruce sounded so good, band killed it, set was mental. 60-70,000 people? Awesome in the true sense of the world. ✌🏽&❤️
I’m in the minority that I like Senjutsu so looking forward to hearing some of these tracks live. Fan since ‘82 and tired of hearing other Maiden fans my age complain.
I spent the 1980/81 school year listening to their first album, bought Killers as soon as it came out and really like Senjutsu. I even think the track itself is a good opener. Only wish they played more of the album but the setlist is very good.
I saw them on the Book of Souls tour and I loved the show, even though I was not a huge fan of that album. I mostly listen to their stuff from the 80s still. It's just different. Then they announced the "Legacy of the Beast" tour where they would only play classic Maiden songs. I couldn't have been happier and bought tickets immediately. Then the pandemic happened and now it has become a kind of an album tour again, just a little watered down. I get that they want/have to play some of the new songs. But I also don't have to like it. I'm most sad about them not playing "The Evil That Men Do" though...
It was excellent concert in Belgrade, although a bit shorter than I hoped for. All the songs we performed very well, Bruce's singing was excellent, whish are the most important things. Stage changes were interesting. The choice of songs was a bit odd, no songs from Killers, Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son but they have so many great song they have to mix it little differently for every tour. Definitely worth going.
Thank you for this video. I am going to see Maiden in The Netherlands on June 27 with my 12 year old son, who is also a fan. Have seen them many times, every time it was great! 💪🏻🇺🇦
I've seen them in Belgrade, first time after 2014., I was stuned by the energy they produced. Writing on the wall sounds so fucking amazing live and fans really accepted it, at least in Belgrade, as whole arena exploded on the chorus. Setlist is great, I was more then happy to hear Sign of the croos and Clansman and of couse Blood brothers, as Brave new world is my fav IM album. All in all 10 out of 10, they still got it. I asume that next tour will be Senjutsu with more Senjutsu songs, as I really like Days of future past, Darkest hour and especially Hell on earth. Regardless if they come to Belgrade again or not, I am seeing them abroad for sure. I really hope damn war in Ukraine stops and sooner rather than later.
I'm going to be wearing my Metal Pilgrim shirt when I see Maiden in October in DC. I didn't get to see the first Legacy of the Beast tour, but this set list has me super excited so it's a great compromise. Blood Brothers is an unexpected curveball, and certainly not the worst choice. I was hoping for Paschendale. But that just means Ill have to see another tour.
I am going to amend my comment slightly, not that is matters. I am disappointed in the opener of the set list. Not for me. I am taking a friend to his first ever maiden concert, and you can count the number of their songs he has hear on one hand. Senjitsu will be his first real experience, but it could have been Aces High. That would have been such a better introduction for him.
im 14 and im going to an iron maiden concert which is my first concert ever actually in octotober 28th im so excited for it and from this video its seems like its gonna be freaking awesome. i love iron madien. UP THE IRONS!!!
Saw them on the first leg of "Legacy" tour in 2019 (was my 12yo daughter's first concert) in Pittsburgh, PA (US). I compared the setlist.fm from that 2019 show with the 1985 Powerslave tour I first saw them at - and there were only four songs that were different (or didnt exist in 1985) . An awesome show! Still! I think the "flow" of the setlist made more sense in 2019 tour. Aces High with Churchill's speech opened the show as it did on
My dad took me to see iron maiden as my first concert when I was 13. Now im 28, have been playing guitar for 14 years, and have an Eddie tattoo XD My whole life changed after that concert.
I just saw the Beast in Columbus Ohio Oct 9 and it was spectacular! Bruce was hitting all the notes, he and they sounded great. I took two of my kids and both LOVED it as well.
More than happy with the setlist! Can't wait to hear the new songs live. Never understood why fans want to hear the same old songs over and over again, and why Maiden so often just does this. Going to see them live at the RockFest in Hyvinkää, Finland.
I was at the Budapest gig two days ago, and honestly, I lost my mind, which I'm still trying to find since then. Ok, this was my first time I saw them live, so it was double as epic for me. The setlist is perfect in my opinion. The whole show is just mind-blowing. And hats off to all of them for jumping and running around the stage for 2 hrs straight at their age. All I can suggest to anyone, to go and see them if you can.
So, I'm 17 and I got two tickets for the show, going to see them live with a friend of mine, also 17 years old. The think is, my dad wants me to sell the tickets, because he wants an ault to come with us at the concert and he's afraid of something bad happening during the concert, like drunks attacking us and the like. I've never been to a concert before and I want to go, but I wouldn't say no to the money, either. I'm supposed to see them live on the 16th of July. What do you think I should do?
Saw them in Bucharest for the first time ever and I can say that it was an amazing experience. Even though he is almost 64, Bruce is always jumping around and interacting with the crowd. The setlist was unexpected but loved it. UP THE IRONS 🤘
Got my Metal Pilgrim tee shirt in the post this week so feel qualified to comment now! Yes, I’m seeing Maiden at Download in 2 weeks time. Can’t wait!!!! I’ll do a video review of the whole festival so will let you know. It looks EPIC!!!! Thanks for taking the time to still make your videos. More power to you 🤘
Saw them on 26th May in Bucuresti - excellent. the overall feeling we got is that we received more value than we paid for. utmost respect for these guys that took the time to visit and play for us
Of course I’m going and of course it’s worth it. Have you seen that front row footage from their first show last week? I’ll be seeing them in Columbus Ohio on October 7th!!!
That was your best video yet! I'm seeing them for the first time in September. Can't wait. Was hoping they're setlist would include more older material but it'll be great, I'm sure.
Seen them live Rīga few days ago... Didn't look in the them before, and I was extremely surprised that such an old guys can still perform on such a level. One of the best concerts I have ever seen.
Waiting to see them in Mexico Sep22. Regarding the set list, the reason there could be some controversy is the fact that they have so much exceptional material that makes it hard to include the best; however I think that this setlist is amazing as it covers songs I have not see them play live as Sep22 will be my third Maiden concert. UP THE IRONS!!
The legacy of the Beast show I saw in Atlanta was one of my favorite set lists of all time it's why I had so much fun that night after having seen them over the years through a stretch of time since the '80s.
I've seen Iron Maiden live in Budapest two days ago and all I can say is that it was amazing. Also, it was the first time seeing them live, so I've been waiting for this for months. It was worth it! Up the irons!
Going to see Maiden for the first time this Friday and I’m so stoked. Loved Maiden since I was 13. I’m more excited to see them than I was for the big four at yankee stadium and Slayers last tour
It looks an excellent show with a great set list, I’m very glad to see they’re including a couple of excellent Blaze Bayley era songs. Peace and best wishes, especially in Ukraine 🇺🇦🙏🏻🇬🇧
July 10 in Wiener Neustadt (close to Vienna / Austria). And of course I will go. I’m a Maiden fan since more than 35 years and I go to every show I can manage.
I saw this show Monday night in Belfast. It was spectacular and these guys are at the top of their game. The Japanese theme worked brilliantly with their existing catalogue and image and Senjutsu was a brilliant opener. Loved Samurai Eddie!
I spent the next morning of the first show watching all of the videos. The first one I found was that Aces High video you showed. I did not realized that it was their closer at that moment. I was floored. Being that I'm 10 years younger then those 6 guys and I could not do that . LOL So YES. Totally worth seeing live. They are not coming to my town, unfortunately. And I may not be able to travel to see them at the closest town they are stopping at. And the show is 2 days before my birthday. But with 2 Eddies! I may have to make that happen and take my 4 year old grandson. He loves Eddie. Only 4 year old I know that has posters of Eddie all over his bedroom wall. And he really loves the new Eddie and "The Wright in On The Wall" video. So the set list is awesome. And in these day's. The Clansman is appropriate. Great Video. 👍
Going to Ullevi stadium, Sweden, in July to see Iron Maiden live for the first time. Love the new album, Senjutsu will be a great opener to set the mood. Great guys and a great band, can't wait! Up the Irons!
Great video. I'm seeing Maiden next Monday in Belfast and you've got me so excited for the show. The setlist isn't exactly what I'd want, but it's a Maiden show and it's gonna be incredible no matter what they play. I cannot wait. I do wonder how many years the band have left in them though.
Since i was at the show, i can confirm that Iron Maiden is indeed worth seing and listening to live. Their energy is amazing, sounds is amazing, visual effects as well. Best concert I've been to. UP THE IRONS! \m/
Songs like "The Clansman" and "Sign Of The Cross" seem to have even more symbolic relevance in these crazy times we are living in. Perhaps this is why these songs were added to this tour.
I saw them in collogne and it was epic, just epic. Maybe the best concert I ever was. The band had so much fun onstage. Four guys running araound on stage and having a blast like they are the frontman, and than Bruce Dickinson with his not from these earth aura. And not only this, the effects where so much on point. After every two songs Maiden took you into another universe. The setlist was breahttaking, everything was just great.
I'm planning, God willing, to attend the concert in Greensboro, North Carolina (USA) in October of this year. My husband purchased the online tickets earlier this year after learning that they would actually be close enough to our home to take a chance with it. My issue is that I have leukemia that has been diagnosed as terminal after of the attempts and treatments have failed. My white cells are increasingly becoming more than my bone marrow can handle and I've been told that my time is limited. Iron Maiden has always been my favorite band and although I've seen many bands in concert over the years, sadly Iron Maiden was always just a little out of reach or some other issues arose to keep me from being able to attend. I'm pushing 60 years of age...and I realize that this concert is a 50/50 shot, at best. I tease everyone often that seeing them live is on my extremely short "bucket list " of things actually attainable at this point. If I do happen to hang in there that long, the only thing even better than that would be a chance to meet them and personally thank them for the years of extraordinary music that they have made. They have most definitely made this old girl happy over the years and whether or not I hold out that long, I've been truly blessed and thankful to have lived in a time to have enjoyed their works. Thanks, guys! Continue with your show....it's great!
I've seen them 5 times starting in '82 when they opened for Priest... best show I've ever seen. last time I saw them was in '12 in Atlanta ga with Alice Cooper opening. they are a live band, and they can still bring i
Spokane, Washington Sep 30th 2022! I can’t wait. It’s not necessarily the set list I would’ve chose, but I’m a huge fan of The Clansman, and have never heard Bruce sing it, so looking forward to that. I with The Prisoner was on there (as well as a few others) but I’ll survive I’m sure! Stay safe.

Had opportunity to see them in Belgrade and Budapest. So legendary! In Trooper song in Belgrade, in one moment Bruce forgot on microphone on the stage, so he was late on the last verse. :D But both shows were amazing 😍
First time I seen maiden ticket cost$ 12:50 USA and would love to see maiden do piece of mind from start to end me the best album maiden ever recorded. !!!!!!! Up the Irons from America. Metal rules
I love the song Senjutsu. It would definitely be in my top 20. Now only if they would perform Alexander the Great live. That's my favorite Maiden song.
They probably didnt have the 2 eddies fight on stage because its the same person wearing the costume 7:30 I love that Bruce waves around the croatian flag instead of the british one they usually do. Hopefully they have a flag for each country they visit
Not sure about Aces High as the closing song, great track of course, but really belongs early on in a set in my opinion. Would have preferred a new song from Senjutsu at the end, possibly Darkest Hour or Hell on Earth if I had to choose, but any track really would have made it a great way to finish for me, the rest of the set was fine.
I am going to see Maiden in Warsaw with my fiancee. Tickets were my birthday present last year so I was counting days to the show since october. I still cant wait. I think the setlist is good but i hope There will be another tour only with Senjutsu songs because three of new songs isnt enough. (But I totally understand if they were going to do more Senjutsu songs and not eliminate classic songs from legacy of the beast, they would have to play for 4 hours). So i hope for another tour and cant wait for this one. It definitely will be great show!
I've seen them 6 times now,.. starting from the last tour with blaze Bayley... and i must say,... the legacy of the beast tour has been by far the most amazing and sonically sound shows ever.... they went from amazing to extra amazing...and hardly any band can do that
Going to Download and will be seeing them for I think the 10th or 11th time, but most importantly taking my 17 year old son and 13 year old daughter who will be seeing them live for the very first time! 🤘🎸😁
I vas in Iron Maiden concert in Riga. It was a frickin blast. I have never been to Maiden show before so I cant compare it to other shows especially when everyone in the band was like 10 or even 20 years younger. Such theatrics together with such energy and passion from basically 60+ year olds. And first proper rock concert in Latvia since C19 started. There was everything- moshpits, actual fight between fans and security "shutting them off", at least one man fainted because of dehydration or something. That kind of event and energy was dearly missed and Iron Maiden brought that back.
My 7 year old daughter has been asking me for a month and a half if I would like to take her to Iron Maiden in Arnhem. The day before the performance, my wife and I decided it was possible since the school year was almost over and she could stay up a little longer. I personally love Iron Maiden. But my daughter told me over and over again the night of the concert that it was the most beautiful night of her life. So my answer is yes. It's still worth seeing Iron Maiden live.

@@lueysixty-six7300 being well rounded in their material doesn’t mean that you automatically like it. I honestly feel that maiden hasn’t released a good album since brave new world. That doesn’t mean that I havnt heard the newer stuff.
I saw them in Belgrade 10 days ago. They kicked ass. Bruce sounds amazing, they look old, but the sound is still unreal.
Love everything about this tour! The setlist, the Eddie's and Bruce absolutely sounds amazing! I will be on the floor at the next to last show in Greensboro, NC in the states. I cannot wait! UP THE IRONS 🤘
I saw the Somewhere in Time tour in Greensboro!!
Saw them in Bucharest a week ago..it was epic❤ I've been a trooper for 26years, saw them over 10times and each time they surprise me, I always cry when it's over because I'm afraid I am not gonna see them again.🥺
Best guys, best band!🤘❤
I saw them on the legacy 2019 run and it was literally a top ten show, and I’ve been to hundreds.
Can’t wait, will be seeing them for the third time in my life, in Toronto in October and bringing my kids! I’ve never heard The Clansman live, hearing thousands of fans screaming “Freedom!” will be absolutely incredible
I was in Zagreb, now Kaunas, then Prague, Paris, Warsaw and more! It is worth every penny!
Definitely agree about Revelations, my favorite Iron Maiden song of all time and one of the greatest songs that has ever been written.
Revaluations and Sign of the Cross are two of my Maiden songs! Im so pumped to hear them live!!! 🤘🏻
Just saw them in Toronto last night. These 2 songs back to back were the best! Sign of the Cross is so epic live.
@@HawksNHabsPC I saw them on 9/19 and it was the best show I’ve seen!!
@@rileyelder1508 absolutely incredible show!
I hope I'll get to see them perform during this tour. They sound incredible! Writing on the Wall is as epic as I knew it would be.
Thank you so much, Gregory! Please send me the pic from the show!
im 14 and im going to an iron maiden concert which is my first concert ever actually in octotober 28th im so excited for it and from this video its seems like its gonna be freaking awesome. i love iron madien. UP THE IRONS!!!
It could be a crossroad in your life that will lead you in the right direction :)
Now im 28, have been playing guitar for 14 years, and have an Eddie tattoo XD
My whole life changed after that concert.
Hey man. You were one of the first things I thought of when I heard the war started. Glad you are still with us. Stay safe my friend!
@@odysseasandroutsos1821 Sure hope you went to see them
@@Jedi_Hush I did and I'm more than glad about it!
More power to you 🤘
So awesome! Thank you, Jim! Looking forward to seeing your video review, please make sure to share the link
Of course they are always worth seeing. Best metal band ever!
Can't wait to see them back in Canada!
I saw them yesterday and they are still absolutely killing it
Saw them on 26th May in Bucuresti - excellent. the overall feeling we got is that we received more value than we paid for. utmost respect for these guys that took the time to visit and play for us
1:01
I was 99% sure that they would play the first 3 songs from the album live as the concert opening.
And guess what happened? :D
Better late than never...I saw them for the first time in Belfast and it was 😍🎸🔥🤘
So great to see them in great health and high spirits!
Of course I’m going and of course it’s worth it. Have you seen that front row footage from their first show last week? I’ll be seeing them in Columbus Ohio on October 7th!!!
I wish you can watch them live soon, guy! Up the Irons and keep rocking!
Iron Maiden is always worth to watch in concert
That was your best video yet! I'm seeing them for the first time in September. Can't wait. Was hoping they're setlist would include more older material but it'll be great, I'm sure.
Wow, thank you!
Clansman and Sign of the cross are highlight in the legacy set, they not going to left out of the set list.
Just imagine a show with every Eddie from every tour. Never too many Eddies.
I totally agree with evrything you said and yes I am going to see them in Holland’s Arnhem in 3 weeks I am really exiting.
The legacy of the Beast show I saw in Atlanta was one of my favorite set lists of all time it's why I had so much fun that night after having seen them over the years through a stretch of time since the '80s.
Seeing them in LA in September and can't wait. I'm a years long fan and this is finally my chance to experience the Maiden machine live.
Just got home from seeing them live in Salt Lake City and it was exactly as you have described and it was awesome!
Saw it in Zagreb and its best concert ive ever been to its worth all the money in the world to see it
It looks an excellent show with a great set list, I’m very glad to see they’re including a couple of excellent Blaze Bayley era songs.
Not seen them since the marquee in 1980. Fantastic, and my ears were ringing two days later. Those were the days.
Going October 3rd in just a few days in Sioux falls SD...totally looking forward to my first Iron Maiden concert.
Can't wait to see them live and CRY
Since i was at the show, i can confirm that Iron Maiden is indeed worth seing and listening to live. Their energy is amazing, sounds is amazing, visual effects as well. Best concert I've been to. UP THE IRONS! \m/
Thanks for this video !! I´m portuguese and I´ll see them once again (my 10th concert) on 31st July.
Great video Pilgrim!! UP THE IRONS 🤘
Saw Iron Maiden in ‘19 and fixing to see again in October of this year in Greensboro NC!
Songs like "The Clansman" and "Sign Of The Cross" seem to have even more symbolic relevance in these crazy times we are living in. Perhaps this is why these songs were added to this tour.
Freedom
Saw this tour in September of 2019 in Portland! They opened up with Aces High! Loved when Eddie kicks Bruce in the butt!
Great video. Seeing them in October. Stay safe!
Revelations is awesome! I totally agree with you.
I'm planning on seeing them in October, it will be my first maiden show, I can't wait
I've seen them 5 times starting in '82 when they opened for Priest... best show I've ever seen. last time I saw them was in '12 in Atlanta ga with Alice Cooper opening. they are a live band, and they can still bring i
I caught the first leg of the Legacy tour back in 2019. Dude!!! They played Where Eagles Dare!!!
But both shows were amazing 😍
First time I seen maiden ticket cost$ 12:50 USA and would love to see maiden do piece of mind from start to end me the best album maiden ever recorded. !!!!!!! Up the Irons from America. Metal rules
I am seeing Iron Maiden in September 27 in Concord California for my 53 Birthday!!
October 7 in Columbus, Ohio. UP THE IRONS!!!!
I love the song Senjutsu. It would definitely be in my top 20. Now only if they would perform Alexander the Great live. That's my favorite Maiden song.
They probably didnt have the 2 eddies fight on stage because its the same person wearing the costume
7:30 I love that Bruce waves around the croatian flag instead of the british one they usually do. Hopefully they have a flag for each country they visit
They did in 2019 at least in Canada and the US.
Can’t wait to see them in September!!!! 🤘🏻
Can't wait to see them in Toronto!!! & really looking forward to the new tunes
I am Latvian and I will see Iron maiden In Riga Latvia it's the first time in Latvia ever. Subscribed. Slava Ukraine.
I've seen them 6 times now,.. starting from the last tour with blaze Bayley... and i must say,... the legacy of the beast tour has been by far the most amazing and sonically sound shows ever.... they went from amazing to extra amazing...and hardly any band can do that
Reminded me to test Senjutsu on my new speakers. I needed to shake the moss out of the gutters anyway.
Going to Download and will be seeing them for I think the 10th or 11th time, but most importantly taking my 17 year old son and 13 year old daughter who will be seeing them live for the very first time! 🤘🎸😁
I will always go see Maiden when they come to town. I wish the setlist would get a full overhaul though.
this
I'm going to see them in the Netherlands on June 27th. Look forward to it🤘
I vas in Iron Maiden concert in Riga.
Same speech was given in Hyvinkää, Finland. Setlist was also FIRE.
