Serial # 23 | Mahogany Linen Cabinet With Morisco Glass Doors

- This was a custom design that mimics traditional cabinet styles from the early 20th century. This was built using Sapele (mahogany), hand-cut joinery, drop-handle hardware, and antiqued-style Morisco glass. The drawers were given special treatment by incorporating quarter-sawn Sycamore which was half-blinded into the Sapele fronts. This completes my Serial #23 build as shown on Instagram.
- 75BF Sapele (Mahogany)
- 12BF Quarter-Sawn Sycamore
- 108 hand-cut dovetails
- 2 Morisco glass paneled doors
- Drop-handle hardware
- 4 finish coats with wet sanding
- 78 hours of construction
Another perfectly executed project, very nice! I look forward to seeing more 😁

Haha - thanks, Rob!
Seeing other people use tools I made never gets old. Also, your work just gets better with every video.
Looks like I need to come over a get a lesson or two. 😬😎💪🏻🔥🔥🔥
Thanks, man 👊👊. And this dovetail guide is legit one of my favorite tools. Love using it
Beautiful work. Very nicely done!
There are some nice tricks in that build. Nice video. Nice instructions. Very nice product.
Thanks, Danny!
Absolutely stunning! I love your attention to details and that that glass is beautiful!
Thank you, Michael! This glass is probably my favorite part of the whole build and I didn’t even make it 😂
Another beauty Rick. Well done. Looks great
Thanks! Love working with this wood. Just takes everything to the next level visually 😃
Extremely great job young man. Enjoy your work Sgt.
Thank you, William!
Really enjoy all of your videos
I like your style for sure
Any chance you’d say where you source the glass panels that you use?
Thank you, Zach! All my glass comes from Alderfer glass in limerick, PA
Beautiful work, Dogface! How do you set your glass?
Rock of the Marne! Glass was set with a small bead of clear silicone to prevent rattling when the doors are opened and closed.
Hi Rick, what is that X-10 blade/knife with the brass top that you use please?
Hi Shaun
This is the Kerf Extender from Rob Cosman tools. It’s a critical component for making half-blind dovetails (in my opinion). Makes the process so much easier (and enjoyable)!
Awesome thanks so much, I’ll go check it out 😎
I really like your videos, but PLEASE adjust the white balance on your camera! Some things aren't even visible through the glare. Thank you.
Agreed - sorry, man. I’ve been fighting this for a while now and cannot figure out the issue. I shoot 4k 24fps and everything looks amazing - even after I edit and download. However, The second I upload to RUclips, it turns to garbage. I’ve tried all the settings but once it hits RUclips the quality immediately degrades for some very odd reason. I’m at a complete lose……
I just realized that everything looks OK on my phone, but on the TV it's terrible. I guess my phone adjusts it. I prefer to watch it on the big screen though.
