Asuncion has changed a lot since I first arrived in Paraguay over 20 years ago.
Looking out of across the city by night from a bar high up on the rooftop of a moden tower you can see just how much.
Where once there was a low rise city with just the occasional tower now there is rising a much more modern looking place.
This view looks out over the old centre of Asuncion towards the river and back beyond one of it's smart new sports stadiums.

What are the temperatures now in Asuncion?
Currently a spell of winter weather, 15 today and 5 tonight. Cold only ever lasts a few days, so high 20s by midweek
