Here are 3 very effective tips to burn more fat while sleeping. First, you want to optimize your thyroid function mostly by making sure that you're getting enough Idodine, zinc, selenium, and vitamin d. Make sure you're having iodized salt for Iodine, oysters for zinc, seafood for selenium, and sunlight exposure or a supplement for vitamin D. Optimizing your thyroid function can increase your metabolism by up to 1000 calories a day. Second tip is to build more muscle, not only does muscle mass require a lot of calories to maintain even while you sleep, but it also increases insulin sensitivity and depletes glycogen stores which will help recycle carbohydrates rather than storing them as fat. And the third thing is to eat more protein, at least .7 grams of protein per pound of body weight. This is because protein has a high thermic effect. This means that the amount of energy it takes for your body to digest, process and store protein is much higher when compared to other nutrients. Some studies estimate that between 15 to 30 percent of the calories taken in from protein are used right back up during the digestion process.

@Dex don't look at the gym just as muscle building, look at it as a mental therapy place too. Stay consistent and you will get your results. Also if you are having a hard time building muscle have your testosterone checked. There's no shame in doing that because all men will start losing it. That was my issue on putting on size.

Increasing your protein intake is my number one weight loss trick at the moment. I've been pigging out even on junk food and still slowly losing weight because I started consuming protein powder and focusing on eating more protein rich foods.

@@dcuyu it was working well for a few months, but I had some stuff happen that got me out of the habit of going to the gym. I was down like 10 pounds with good muscle added. I'm still down but have lost muscle and gained fat. I recently started working out again and am about to start doing this again. Just shoot for 1 gram per pound unless you are very overweight then I heard 1 gram per cm of height is a good system. Don't go too heavy on the protein powder or it can upset your stomach and make you feel sick. I am going to actually start counting calories and protein, so I recommend looking up the calorie calculator and adding a few grams to the high protein option for losing to your goal weight.

    video doesn't address some things.
    exceptions:
hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism and thyroid fatigue all issues you need to check before you try this.
Protein waste removal is hard in your kidneys, you need to watch it.
when your body gets hungry, it'll metabolize your muscles before fat storage, so it's not necessarily true you can "maintain muscles", it's more complex than that. so watch it.
protein also often comes along with cholesterol, low fat protein like seafood can have a high cholesterol rating, again watch it.
it's your health, you better research deeper before you self-medicate or self-regiment especially if you are ALREADY obese and have pre-existing issues!

0.7 grames of protein for each pound so as someone who weights 143 pounds (65kg) i need 100g of protein daily?! that's absurd

      Why is this absurd ?

      100g isn't much though?

    • @KoltonatMeritage
      @KoltonatMeritage Год назад +4

That’s not much. I’m 178 and on a cut and I get at least 155 grams a day. It only sounds absurd because your not getting your daily amount. Protein is the most lacking in most people’s daily routines

100g of protein is not alot. You could hit that 3 meals easily.

Really there are two things you need to watch on eating. Sure, the supplements or unique diet and vitamins are great, but ultimately you need to watch protein intake, and total calorie count being at a deficit, that's it.

You don't need to eat oysters for zinc. Almost everyone in NA consumes enough zinc without dietary modification.

You can put iodine on your skin and it will be observed. It will be a orange brown color so somewhere people won't see. You can put a little on each day for a week or two.

1 - Optimize thyroid function (oysters, D, seafood, iodized salt), 2 - Build more muscle (I mean okay), 3 - Eat more protein (not sure I quite agree with that)
