    Hey, are you using a teleprompter with you sigma 16mm lense? If so, which one are you using? I was told to use the padcaster parrot lense with my m50 and sigma 16mm, but the teleprompter is seen in the frame of the shot. Super annoying. Any feedback helps. Thanks!

    Great video. I had to sub. I have been looking at the 22mm E-FM or this Sigma lense. I have seen enough videos, I going with the Sigma 👍🏾

    Thank you so much for this! What would you recommend for gym footage? All of my content on my channel was filmed on the M50 with the kit lense & the quality really is so awful & there’s so much noise in most of my videos. I’m new to this so I’m not really sure what to do. Anything will help! Thank you!

    • @NathanLemoine
      @NathanLemoine  Год назад +1

      Hi! For gym footage I would say go for the 16mm that I compare in this video. Since you film on a M50 with a cropped sensor, the 16mm has an effective focal length of 24mm which is still wide enough for most of the shots you would want. I'm assuming you want to film your whole body most of the time, so the other option would be SIgma's 35mm, but with the 1.5x crop because of your sensor, it would be way too much zoom to easily get your whole body in each shot. So yah, go with the Sigma 16mm! Hope this helps :)

      @@NathanLemoine it does! Thank you!

      @@NathanLemoine actually! One more q. What about the 50mm?

    • @NathanLemoine
      @NathanLemoine  Год назад +1

      The 50mm will be really zoomed in or give you a "tight shot". This means you will have to setup your camera really far away from you to get your whole body in the frame which I can imagine wouldn't be ideal in a gym setting. The 50mm will give you an effective focal length of 75mm for reference!

      @@NathanLemoine ahhh I see. Thank you so much! You’ve helped tremendously. I only asked because I seen a few gym videos with the 50mm. I appreciate your feedback

    Is 16mm good for street vlogging focusing street rather than vlogger

    • @NathanLemoine
      @NathanLemoine  Год назад

      I'm not too sure what you mean by this question? Can you explain a little more?

  • @johnorbegozo685
    @johnorbegozo685 Год назад

    i have a question i wanna upgrade also from the kit lens do you think it will be good lens for street fotography with the sigma 16 mm i wanna get good background blur also

    • @NathanLemoine
      @NathanLemoine  Год назад +1

      If you specifically want street photography then i would recommend a higher focal length, such as Sigma's 35mm or I think they also have an 85mm. The higher focal length will give you more compression in your shots which I think makes them look more "cinematic" and professional. The smaller focal lengths like the 16mm will make all of your photos probably seem very busy because you will be able to capture more in the scene, but there will be no compression so everything will seem far away with possibly slight warping around the edges. So buildings may not look natural as low focal lengths.
      But I am also not a photographer and I am still learning everything about cameras as I continue my video journey. That is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt :)
