We found out in September 2024 that our sister has stage 4 colon cancer. It was discovered during surgery she was getting adhesions removed. She had a CT scan previously that revealed some other suspicious looking spots. During her surgery, cancer was found on her ovaries, lymph nodes and colon. It also spread onto her peritoneal wall. So I can totally relate to your story. She has had her first round of chemo and goes in for her second round today. God help you and our sister too. Both of you are loved more than you'll ever know.❤❤
My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 crc this past June. It has been really tough for our family, we are 1st time parents, our baby is 10 months, he spent 1 month in NICCU, and we were blaming him being exhausted to that, we were traveling every day to the hospital, finally he decided to go to ER and that's when we received the bad news. I pray every day for everyone who is fighting this disease, for the doctors and scientists to find better treatments. No one can imagine what is to go through cancer, how devastated it is for the person suffering from it, but also for the family. I will pray for your sister 🙏
@ aww I’m Sorry to hear this sweetie sending and saying prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I work in the medical field and have for 40 years , it breaks my heart to see not only the elderly patients go through these situations but now the younger generation , I’m 58 and have lost a lot of friends my age to the (c) word , and lately seeing more and more of the younger generations going through what your husband is going through ! It breaks my 💔and is starting to take a toll on me , emotionally , physically and mentally ! I’m at the point I’m ready to retire ! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@zuleykaayala8405hi! I was also diagnosed with colon cancer stage 4 on April of last year. After chemotherapy and surgery, I am in remission, so please don’t loose hope. God bless you and your husband
@christyborkowski6866 it is heartbreaking, honestly. My husband is 41 y/o, never smoked or drink alcohol. He used to play soccer 3 times a week, eating healthy. Basically, doctors are describing his situation as a "gene lottery" for cancer because it was no reason for him to have that. I have my trust and hopes in God
More young people are getting this cancer - & other types of cancer too. Folks - we need to find out why! I have 5 grandchildren & hope we can get some answers. Thanks for sharing your journey, Cassandra. My youngest child was born in Ogden - northern Utah is beautiful!
They're now finding out microplastics from all the water bottles and what we store and how everything is in plastic is getting into our tissues and that could be one of the reasons why we're getting cancer, as well as the pesticides and the processed foods.
@@bonniedahl3156 Funny thing is here in cali, they banned plastics bag to help with the plastic situation, only to sell it back to us for 10 cents a piece. A nice really thick one too.
I pray and believe you will beat this cancer! God almighty can heal you instantly. I was diagnosed with Leukemia in June 2023, it’s been a tough battle, the targeted therapy takes a toll on me physically, mentally and emotionally. Stay strong and I pray you will live and abundant life cancer free.
Your are so strong and courageous ❤. Thank you for sharing so many people need to hear this that may be experiencing the same symptoms! Keep strong and d keep fighting!
I found Casandra on Instagram when she was sharing her story. She is such a light, even in this hard place she’s in while fighting. She’s truly an inspiration.
I will pray for you Casandra and your family ❤ I’m glad you have a great medical team including a loving family. You will come through this storm! By the way you are beautiful.
Have you been tested for Lynch Syndrome which causes colon cancer, among other cancers, at an early age? Im positive for the MSH6 gene mutation. My brother had stage 4 colon cancer in 2001, hes still here though!
Prayers for healing for you! So glad you are able to do immunotherapy along with the chemo. I have heard of great results with that. Prayers for peace too! You are rocking the shaved head! So beautiful!!
i found out i have multiple myeloma 2 months ago , no symptoms at all except severe anemia, i am a male 58 years old , i live in the suburbs of philly i have a great medical team takijng care of me, for now i take weekly 2 chemo shots and home chemo pills, stay strong live your life ,i have young kids as well i have to be strong for them and by the way you look darn good shaved head you can make a goooood model for summer sunglasses. i wish you the best of everything and regardless of your faith, god is very fair and generous and will take good care of you, you are young you will be fine. good luck to every cancer patient on this earth.
You are in our prayers! And we are rooting for you to have a smooth & peaceful recovery. ❤Sending love to you & your family! Thank for sharing your story of courage & helping women to realize they need to love themselves & take care of their health & how self love & mental health play a role in that step. We take care of so many people in our lives but fail to take a moment to show ourselves kindness. You are such a beautiful brave soul. Thank you for the reminder to take breaks & enjoy the moment around you when you are going through such trials. 🍁🍂
I had very similar symptoms. Lots of pain, feeling very sick, lots of bowel issues. My GP said, it’s just a prolapsed haemorrhoid. Turns out it was stage 3 rectal cancer.
Thanks. I’m in remission. I don’t know what was worse; the brachytherapy radiation therapy or post ostomy surgery take down. Hopefully you don’t have the former, especially given yours is colon. Mine was low down rectal. The absolute agony was unbearable, even with a whole host of pain meds and nerve blockers. The odd thing was I had no risk factors. I don’t smoke, rarely drank, was always athletic and at the time of diagnosis, I was training for a triathlon. I likely put the pain and gut issues down to diet. It was the blood and the very sick I had that told me something was not right. I’m sure you’ve had lots of advice, but mine to you is this: become an informal patient, which reduces the fear; don’t be afraid of your emotions ( I had two major collapses on chemo): enjoy each day no matter how sick you feel; and above all remain calm and positive. You can do this. Massive hugs and support. Love Philip
Please know u r being lifted up in prayer and love ❤ daily, to our Heavenly Father, the Greatest Physician and Healer ever! I did see , just today, about how good it is for you to be on immunotherapy as well! I pray each new day is better than the last!!! U r truly my hero !!!
This video is made a bit early in her journey; lovely woman with a wonderful outlook and positivity, I feel confident she will have a good outcome with total remission and healing, God willing
As the commenter before me said, you are rocking the no hair. You are even more beautiful without your hair distracting from who comes through. Best wishes and prayers for you. You will beat this.
I never knew that you could be getting both immunotherapy and chemotherapy - I thought it was either one or the other You look beautiful Prayers for a complete recovery for you I feel like if anyone can do this - you will God Bless
I haven't been to a doctor in over 20 years. I really don't know if i would if i suspected anything. The lack of health insurance is the main reason but thank you for sharing your story and im wishing you the best outcome possible! ❤🙏
Im so sorry you have to go through this. But there are people that have become in remission and cancer free. And by the way you look sophisticated with your hair shaved. It brings out your eyes. I do believe that we as humans have the strength in us to overcome anything. And i pray for you continue your path of strength and the road to recovery. God bless you and your lovely family
Good for you to find beauty in whatever u do with your family! Love love love ❤that!!!! It’s so very important. You know I think women in general are busy and just push those symptoms aside! I screened with the poop box and got a negative! Great, but the past week I’ve had a few nose bleeds and bleeding in my poo Pooh everyday. Just got back the negative results back like 3 weeks ago! I keep blaming on hemorrhoids too. Best wishes and so much love being sent your way!!!
Why can’t they the doctors check for hemorrhoids and just assume? I was bleeding a lot and when I went to my regular doctor she checked right away with a long scope 7 inches or longer to see if it were hemorrhoids, and it wasn’t. She then send me to the lab to see if I had h pylori! Tested positive. Then I went into the ER to see why am bleeding so much, a different doctor checked for hem. and still no signs of it. Referred me to a gastric specialist, and for the third time checked if it was hem, still no. Then he did a colonoscopy and endoscopy for me, even though am fairly young in my 30’s, and nothing was found. Just the h pylori that made me bleed. Got rid of h pylori thru antibiotics and for a year now I haven’t bled, bowel movement is every day. I am lucky that I had moved to Finland because my doctors in the US just didn’t do anything.
Such an amazing and inspiring young lady, try and stay strong bless you!! 💪 💜 So true about when you lose your hair (for me anyway) - I hated being bald , but tbh I did nt have the strength to even wash it or manage it at the time and it was one less thing to worry about! Also I know it can affect anyone at any age, but I still keep hearing of more and more Younger people being diagnosed - I was 44 (finished treatment earlier this year) , my cousin was 37 and someone else we know was just 32 😢
Found a lump in my ass loss of appetite sometimes stomach pain when i eat 1 meal a day now and light snacking ... finally got a ct the other day came clean now great no one can see or feel the lump but me .. jumping through hoops and the medical system to get this scoped or sorted out its almost like no one wants to do one its a battle you have to face while getting diagnosed
I’ve got friends that are senior citizens that haven’t ever had a colonoscopy. I have colon disease so I get it every 2 yrs. We hope everything works out for you 👍 and positivity is so important when going through this 😮 we had a 7 yr old son and a 6 yr old daughter our son was playing a lot of sports but when he was playing football he started complaining that his right knee was hurting and to shorten the story we were rushed to a university hospital in California 🌴 we were told that he had bone cancer the worst news for parents to hear 😭💔😫😫 then came chemo we had to stay 5 days every month so dad and I would split the time we never left him alone when we would come in for blood or platelets our 6 yr old would push our sons wheel chair really fast then her feet would attach to the wheel chair and they both put there hands up and scream and the nurses would always l lol sigh and they would ask us how do you keep them so up beat ? We never cry in front of them and we let them be kids they go swimming in our pool they both have go carts and he loves the trampoline in the end we do not sit at home and feel sorry for ourselves and thankfully mom and dad worked as a team that is not always the case 💙💗
Curious you said you went to the bathroom alot but did your stoll change consistency? I know some symptoms are "pencil like" stools and wondered if you had normal consistency or it changed

Truly sad how she repeated early in this video "I just let it go." It really hurt to see her say that with her kid in the backseat of the car. This tells me she was probably worried about the costs of getting this properly checked out and treated. We need healthcare, not health insurance. Enrich American lives, not insurance company profits. Use that bumper sticker slogan and win elections.
What was her diet last decade, was it a high carb diet with lots of sugars? Carbs get turned into Glucose which is the main fuel for cancer cell growth, the other fuel is Glutamine. I hope she reads this, check out Dr Thomas Seyfried.
When I see comments like this I'm just thinking out loud "how does this comment help this patient?" "is what I am about to say going to be encouraging?" Just things to think about
