You're really selling me on the bracket I saw on your last video of inexpensive top cases! I need to get the passenger seat with the flip-up backrest for the wife AND I want a lockable top case behind her seat. Another VERY HELPFUL and well done video! Thanks!
Hahaha. Thanks for watching the video. Listen..also check eBAY and Walmart and Target for the top case. 48L size usually holds 2 helmets. Amazon has been selling out of the less expensive ones...which in my opinion works just fine. Be well!
Excellent product and workmanship! Phenomenal packaging and printed colour instructions! However, didn't work well for my use case. I have a SHAD SH50 top case which is perhaps somewhat larger and heavier than for what this rack is intended. Since the fulcrum is set fairly far back (at the hinge point of the passenger seat) it results in a "diving board" effect with the top case bouncing significantly over bumps, even small ones. I unfortunately decided to remove mine and replace with a different, more rigid but also higher profile rack.
I just ordered this for my ryker with the folding back rest. I'm so excited to have this to fit a tail bag, to be out of the way of the use of seat and leg clearance getting on and off my ryker, due to I'm on the short side. This seems to be the perfect thing to accomplish having storage and keep the seat accessible and my getting on and off ryker with storage farther back. Back!!
This keeps any storage system u chose with this luggage rack and still have the comfort back seat still be usable. I'm soo excited and this seems to be the perfect thing to solve my storage issue with my ryker
Hahaha… I’m glad it all turned out well. But seriously, I designed that rack so that everyone (no matter their skill level) Can install it without any problems. Enjoy, and thanks for watching the videos and buying the luggage rack.
Glad Everything worked out. Please text a picture of it installed on your bike to my companies phone number found on the installation package. Be well have a safe summer.
The only inconvenience that I experienced with it was that when I was trying to remove the passenger seat, the support plate was hitting the max mount. I had to remove all the hardware, remove the luggage bracket then remove the passenger seat so I can run some wire underneath the seat and max mount, but besides all that I love the bracket.
I’m looking for the flap plate to go onto my breaker. Can you tell me the exact name and where I can find from a live in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and I’m having a really difficult time no one seems to know what it is. Your help is greatly appreciate it Joe.
Sorry, I do not know what " flap plate to go onto my breaker" is. I suggest going to the Dealer. They can at least make sure you have the correct name for the item...you can then search the internet via the correct Dealer name for the item. Good luck.
Hi, what’s the name of the tank box that you installed on your rack? I wanted to buy the same one that you did after I purchase and install your rack. Thanks
It looks like a nice rack but the one big flaw is that someone can push that button up on your seat and take off with everything. Unless there is a bolt that I didn't see in the video that keeps someone from doing that.
There is no flaw as mentioned . In order to remove the assembly you have to remove the two bolts from underneath the rack. Before you can remove those bolts you still need to remove the bolts holding the mudflap in place. Once my rack is installed it actually protects your seat from being stolen.
@@kirwinprovidence3225 Do you mean those 2 bolts that you replace underneath, because I watched your video a few times and I don't see them going through the max mount to make it secure. I not trying to be difficult, I just don't want to purchase something for $180 that can't be refunded if it does secure. The mud flap does not secure into the seat only into the mount.
It works with any Can-Am seat. You just need the folding back rest. The short (non-folding back rest) is made with plastic so the short back rest will NOT work.
Hi I am interested in the luggage rack but I am concerned about the differences between the two I want to buy the coney luggage but would I have to drill hole to make it fit??

So been looking at these Ryker 900's seems the Rally is the way to go in my opinion. Would you take a Ryker on a 1000 mile round trip ? They don't seem to move to quickly as far as selling. This concerns me?
It’s actually a great bike. The Can-Am products are very reliable also. I’ve been with Can-Am products since 2007 with their ATVs and started my business in 2011 with their motorcycles. I have no complaints. However… Ryker is not designed as a cruising bike. It was purposely designed to be a local run-about. It has a small gas tank and on 1000 mile road trip in my opinion it would be extremely uncomfortable… It has a lot of wind buffering and helmet noise because of all of that wind. But that’s just my opinion. We do mostly local road trips now and trailer the bikes for longer distances. Good luck with what you decide. Thanks for watching the video
